So this place used to be Sam’s and was closed for over a month before being bought out and turned into riptide. In the meantime I found a new car wash in the area and did not do business with riptide upon opening. So why are yall charging my card like I EVER gave riptide my information. I was a customer of Sam’s NOT riptide. So idk if Sam’s gave riptide their customers bank info to charge for sUbscriptions when they closed but yall have lost your minds. My card has been charged three times and I will be disputing with my bank.

Drove thru with caked on ice and snow from the drive down from the north, the attendant, Nick, was very nice and offered a 2nd wash for free since the truck still had salt and ice residue. 5/5 highly recommend.

Today i don't know what happened but it was really bad. I waited an hour and that was no exaggeration. They didn't even finish as the vacuum was not good, and left cleaning liquid all over the seat. There was streaks all over the console and gear shift. When my car was finished, they let it sit there for 10 mins before anyone came by to tell me it was done. Was not professional at all.

Worst car was ever!!! I want a refund!!! The floor was completely let wet and not dry, More dirt was on the car, Trunk wasn't even cleaned!!! I got home and used a rag and you can see how much dirt came up by one rag!!! I called and spoke with a manager which was completely rude and claimed they don't make mistakes!!! He wanted us to come back by for another free wash lol!!! Why would I come back and waste my time when they couldn't do it right the first time? They went so fast through everything instead of taking there time doing this!!! I will never come back here ever!!!

We brought our truck in to get a single wash since we drove from Ohio. (It was caked in ice/snow& salt) Nick, one of the employees, noticed it had some dirt left on it and he let us go through again, no charge. Super satisfied with this location!

OK, but nowhere near as good as when it was Sam's. They increase the prices by 50% and it doesn't do anywhere near as good of a wash. Better than nothing, but definitely a downgrade. Even basics like getting the dirt off the front don't happen anymore. Not talking about bugs, just regular dirt. When I questioned it, they told me that only the top brushes will get that and you have to have the premium wash for it. The premium wash is well over $20. When it was Sam's, the $10 wash did the same thing And better. Like a lot of other things, they expect you to pay significantly more for less. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but overall riptide has become a rip off.

Great the first time. Not so much after that. I guess the interior “cleaning/wiping” is more of a gloss over. I could’ve done a better job for free and in less time. The inside of my truck barely looked like it had been touched. Thanks to the young man who attempted to redeem the efforts. But I won’t be returning. No one seemed happy to be there, me neither. Thanks for the free towel btw I’ll need it.

When this was Sam's it was an excellent car wash with great people. Now, as RipTide they replaced the dedicated employees with machines and dont even offer interior cleaning services. Yesterday, Rip Tide did a very poor job on the exterior of our car. A waste of time and money. Gas station car washes are better than Rip Tide. This change from Sam's to Rip Tide is a loss for our local community. Im trying Auto Bell in Concord today.

I’m giving Sam’s carwash a 5 ⭐️ rating as they did not disappoint. They are very thorough with the vaccuming, washing mats and wiping down the interior and exterior. I have a 2023 Toyota Highlander and haven’t been able to find a car wash in the area with mat washers for these style mats. At Sam’s Car Wash, they remove and pressure wash any style mat. The only thing I don’t like is that they put the mats back in your car wet. I feel like it wouldn’t only take about one extra minute per vehicle to dry them off. Besides that, they’ve done a great job with my new vehicle and I will continue giving them business.

Professional and helpful staff. My car looks great every time! It actually cleans my car! Some of those other ’carwashes’ don’t really clean your car, they just move the dirt around. Riptide car wash actually cleans it. Would definitely recommend!

So very sad, I miss the Sam’s. It was a Christian, family-owned business. It employed lots of Youth to help with the car detailing. I went every single week and probably spent $50 each visit. Now it is just like all others. Nothing special. I don’t even go anymore. ** Thank you for your response. I think what people miss the most is the full service part of the old ownership. There is only one other, Autobell, in Concord which is not convenient. Would you all consider adding this service back? I believe that is what everyone hopes for.

GOAT car wash. The drive through was as expected, maybe even a little fast for the $35 wash. Where this place goes above and beyond is the after wash area. Free towels, free cleaners, free mat washers. I don’t know if it’s because I was next to the machine but the vacuum is a beast. Free air for your tires and as a cleaning tool. Towels were refilled multiple times while I was here. My wife’s car is the cleanest it’s been since she bought it. I was here at least 30 minutes and did not have to leave the lot has a ton of stalls. What a difference in final result it all makes. Incredible! If you’re reading car wash reviews because you’re an enthusiast this is the one you are looking for.

Riptide took over from Sam’s car wash. I had the top service unlimited monthly plan. They were excellent and always did a awesome job When Riptide bought them out, they charged me for a monthly service plan that I never authorized or used. BTW, their top service and most costly. Actually, the unexpected change cost me a bank overdraft charge. Went to the location and manager told me he could not refund, but would cancel a plan I never bought. While trying to get in contact with the corporate office, totally ignored, they actually changed me again for another month. WOW Went to the location, and the manager apologized again and canceled it again which seems to have worked. However, I am out $115 and it seems to need an act of God is needed to get a response, let alone a refund. I can’t speak to the quality of the car wash because I have never used them. Charging me for their services that are close in cost to the monthly FULL service plan at Sam’s is not even close to Sam’s service is ridiculous. I don’t know how many other Sam’s customers have fallen to this unscrupulous business practice, but now I will take this to whatever consumer protection agency. They probably have a lot more.

First the staff is so nice and professional. Had the pleasure of meeting the manager Nick and was able to resolve my issue and he was so nice. The facility is always clean and I love how they offer different amenities like all purpose cleaner and windshield cleaner as a courtesy.

I loved this carwash, but customer service is everything. I sold my vehicle on dec 31st and went to the gastonia location to pause my subscription. Here it is Feburary and ive noticed im still being charged $45 per month for Jan and feb. Impossible to get anyone on the phone to fix this. Hoping my online full cancelation processes. I had planned to sign my new vehicle up here but will not us their subscription service after this headache. Out $90 at this point and hoping the online cancellation processes before I have to attempt going back in 30min away. Ultimately, hard to cancel is my rating influence.

Regarding the full service promotion at the Concord Location- it is awesome! I went to cancel but they gave another promotion for 90 days! The car wash is exceptional- especially the special tire dressing! And the drying is phenomenal. The cars look immaculate. And plenty of supplies to vacuum and clean. They make it easy because the vacuum and cleaners are in arms length. Plenty of clean towels too- simply fab!!
