It is sad how rude the employees are! Management knows that their employees are disrespectful to customers and don’t care. Also the store is not organized. :’( Whenever we go there is always so many things just all over place. It’s sad when take all that time to shop and try to great deals and you get to register and they don’t care and don’t want to help. Would totally NOT RECOMMEND this DOLLAR GENERAL AT POPULAR TENT ROAD! If management wants and cares about keeping customers then they aught to take a look at how their employees treat the customers!! It continues to happen. Wow 😮 just Seeing an employee running out after a customer cussing at them and being so rude in front of other customers is just un called for!!! Will now have to find a new store to shop at!! Highly recommend Management Rehire New Employees who respect customers!!!!

It's 8:12 and they still haven't open the doors? The hours say form 8:00am to 10:pm I've been waiting here for 12min smh this dollar is so disappointed well the people that works here or who ever is in charge 5/5/23 update instead of 8:00am they should put they open at 9:00am that's so disappointing people waiting outside to open the doors. Like I have all the time to wait.

I love going to Dollar General, however they do have their flaws. Such as, just abt everytime I walk in there now the shelves are just abt completely empty. Meaning they dont have what I need 9 times out of 10. Not sure why but I'm getting close to going to a different store.

So conveniently close to me. It is literally my go-to, One Stop Shop store. I go here almost every day and most of the time they have whatever I need or I am looking for. Always a friendly staff, and you can almost always be in and out of the store in about 3 to 15 minutes. Unless I just can't decide what I want. Which is so hard sometimes because there's so much to choose from LOL!

I don’t understand why this store has set hours of operation. They are closed more times than not during their posted business hours. They apparently had a beer delivery this morning, poor guy was waiting there for at least 20 minutes, still no one showed up to open the store. Even after most of the staff got fired they can’t get this store right. This happens more times than it should and how higher ups haven’t gotten involved due to this issue is beyond me.

I feel for the employees and managers in all these Dollar General Stores. They do NOT have enough help to restock shelves. There is one cashier and one manager and a lot of times I go they both are at the registers and have lines of customers waiting to check out. With Covid-19 their supplies are scarce (not the employees fault). The stores need more than 2 employees per store! Dollar General corporation needs to address this!

I watch this Dollar general being built and I said I want to go in there took me about 6 or 8 months before I actually made it in what a nice store. not like other Dollar generals where stuff is thrown all over the place very well organized nice merchandise prices were a hair higher than I thought they would be but still pretty damn good. I like this place and I would recommend it

Couldn't find anyone to ring me out, walked all over the store and still no one! When I pulled up one cashier was outside smoking but even she too disappeared when I needed help. After a few minutes of searching and waiting I was ready to give up and take my business elsewhere when at the last minute here comes the girl....

I picked up an item that was tagged on sale...when I get to the registered they told me. Its regular price and they forgot to pull the tag. Bad business..not going back..Just happened 5 minutes ago.

Went in to purchase towels advertised online and in store. Showed cashier and manager the ad and was told they could not sell me the towels for that price. I stated the ad is here in writing with the same color, size, skew #, original price and sale price. I told him that is false advertising. He rudely told me he didn't have to do anything. I have been in customer service over 30 years and have never been treated so rudely in a store. I told him I was going to contact customer service, his response was go ahead I don't care what you do. Glad I saved the ad to prove I am correct when I call corporate Monday morning. I have shopped at DG for years and was very offered by this so called manager. If I could give negative stars I would.

Incompetence & the epitome of deception of grandeur it's just a dollar store. Did some quick shopping used a basket, few items, Placed it on the counter at the register to have the clerk tell me I have to take each item out of the basket to be scanned. I looked at them puzzled and asked, what do I need to get a job here just to check out? Dude proceeds to say "I'm not a clerk, I'm a manager, my job isn't to take items out of a basket I'm hired to manage not do check out" but the dude is doing check out? Someone has an ego so inflated if it were a hot air balloon it'd exit our atmosphere. What an absolute clown, need to be taken down a PEG or two. No Pun intended. Occurred on 10-2-2022 around 6:40 PM when your systems supposedly went down. Store is a mess, unsafe to walk between aisle from debris that may fall over or trip you up. Great representation of the fool managing things.

This is one of the most clean Dollar Generals I have been in. The cashiers are nice and helpful. Their shelves are always fully stocked with merchandise and I was able to use all of my coupons with no issues.

I want to address other comments about the state of this store. Yes there are pallets of items that need to be put up and previously the shelves were empty, but there are only 5 workers, total, open-close 7 days a week. The store has really turned around in the last month or so. They are trying their best to fix the issues and hire people, so please be patient and understanding. I spoke to Robin on my latest visit and she was extremely friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to not only help me; but to also make me feel like I was appreciated and welcome.

Starting with the good: I visit this store 5-10 times per week. Nearly every occasion is nothing short of pleasant and efficient. Shelves are stocked and more importantly the employees are always friendly and polite. Opportunity for improvement: They sometimes close whenever they feel like it. Hours are clearly posted on the door and I have made the drive to get there before 10:00 on many occasions. Only to find that they decided to close early at 9:45, 9:35 or whenever the employees are ready to call it a day. Typically a great place to shop but I had to give 3 stars due to frustrating me so many times by closing early.

Bought gallons of milk for my babies at the store. not one, not two but 3 gallons of whole milk have been full of cottage cheese. Old milk and the expiration dates are off. Try to call the store to get it resolved. No one ever answers the phone not only that, but I dropped a FedEx package off down there a week later I go down to check on it. No one knows where it’s at, which contained the title of our truck. It took my husband going down there and having someone search through the paperwork in the back and guess what? There it was the whole time.
