Ever since Mike has been in the manager position, this Carwash gets five stars. Utterly mediocre Carwash until Mike stepped in, but now gets five stars. Thank you Mike!

We just discovered Zips Car Wash and had a fantastic experience! We took three cars today! Employees are very friendly, the car wash was quick, and we liked having access to damp cloths (and window cleaner) to wipe down the inside of our cars. Will definitely go again!

Chris was incredible and walked me through how everything worked — I even signed up for the monthly washes! Great place and Chris is the BEST.

Not sure about other locations, but this one is awful. Pulled in on a whim and decided to try out their promotional membership after reopening; after my second or three wash within a few weeks, I noticed excessive micro scratches across my entire hood that were very clearly patterned. The corporate office naturally rejected my damage claim without hesitation. It’s also just an atrocious car wash regardless of damage - very very short tunnel, doesn’t dry your car hardly at all, and you risk getting rear-ended by the car behind you every time. Note that it’s also nearly impossible to cancel your membership during the promotional period. Shame because the manager on site Torrey was helpful.

Multiple good experiences. I regularly use their "laser wash" (no touch, water only) and their regular wash. My vehicles look and even smell clean for several days after. One of my favorite features is the built in vacuum that you can use on the way out. I use this every time before I leave. I've found that some have better suction than others. My kids always enjoy going through the main wash because of the colorful soaps and lights. I once tried to purchase a giftcard but was told I had to do that during the purchase of a car wash. This was frustrating since I had just gone through and assumed incorrectly that one of the staff members could help me. But overall, I've been coming here for quite a while and it's a good experience.

Chris is awesome. Was concerned about wash not being completely awesome and he was super nice. Sent me back through again to make sure it was right. A credit to the organization!

The car wash itself was fine but the vacuums were not effective and there are only 5 spaces so you will spend a long time waiting to even get a spot.

Great customer service! The washer and vacuums worked really well. A special thanks to Mike the site manager for helping me find my windshield wiper as it fell off in the machine. Thank you for going above and beyond!

Chris at the check in greeted me with a smile and enthusiasm. (My car was looking rough- parked for 3 weeeks while on vacation). He was knowledgeable about all the wash options and helped remove some pesky pine straw from under the wipers before proceeding to the wash bay. Great experience and quick! Thanks Chris & Zips team

I got scammed into a membership. I just wanted a car wash and was told there is a special that’s $12.50. No one said anything about a membership and getting charged $25 a month. I was never given a membership number and now getting rid of the membership is a pain. I will not be back. Highly disappointed in this business and their scamming employees.

I literally moved to a different part of Raleigh and still kept my Zips membership 😆 it’s just so easy and convenient and the staff is so nice. Special shoutout to Chris who was SO helpful today when I had an app question! I am seriously here like once a week now and I swear my car hasn’t looked this good since before my middle schooler was born! 🙏

They have good car wash options and free vacuums. The vacuum areas are wet though because you have to go through the car wash first and then use the vacuums. This might be okay during the summer when the sun may help dry the area, but not during the winter. Other car washes let you vacuum first and then wash your car so the vacuum bays are dry. Also I noticed that there was still soap suds on the rear hatch door when I opened it to vacuum the interior.

Chris was a top notch salesman and convinced me to buy a pack of carwashes. I am now convinced it was a great investment as I have a few cars and don't need to wash them each more than once a month. Thank you CHRIS!!!!

don’t waste your money here. update: came again because it’s close to where i work and i needed to get the salt off of my car and wanted to give them another try. got the pro wash this time to get the underneath of my car because of the salt. anyways cars still dirty, wouldn’t recommend, don’t waste your money. literally couldn’t couldn’t even remove the dust off the back of my car. took the dust off the top but the trunk area was basically untouched and the other dirt that can rub off with your finger didn’t come off. price isn’t bad for good results but i didn’t get good results.

Paid for a $24 treatment that included wash, 2 coats of wax, and tire shine. When my car came out of the wash it was relatively the same dirty car that went in. Despite the bristles going over my car you could still see bird poop and the gunk that was on my car before it went through. There was no tire shine nor wax , which I paid extra for. When I told the car wash attendant he told me that ownership doesn’t fix any issues that the car wash has. He was able to provide me some tire shine that I could manually apply to my tires which was nice. I also had to go over the debris on my car manually with the towels and cleaner solution the car wash provided. To make things worst the vacuums weren’t on “due to the rain “ and it was in fact drizzling outside. Really wished I would’ve saved myself the added hassle and just went somewhere else. Ultimately I wish I could rate them lower and I wish I would’ve saved my money on this expensive car wash that under performs.

Amare- was professional and friendly- my first time here he was very patient with my questions. The site manager even came by and said hello. I really like the complementary spray they give you for your car.

On 2/14, during my first-ever visit to Zips Car Wash, I had an unacceptable experience from start to finish. It took over 30 minutes just to get out, with cars at a complete standstill and constant honking the entire time. The employee responsible for waving cars into the tunnel never looked up from his phone, creating a chaotic and unsafe situation. At one point, the car behind me came so close it nearly hit my vehicle while inside the tunnel. To make matters worse, my rim was scraped badly during the process. I canceled my membership immediately and requested a refund, which was denied outright, with no acknowledgment or recognition of a single detail of what I experienced.

Very helpful staff and good deals on memberships that allow practically unlimited use for reasonable monthly rates. Can get crowded but their system is efficient. Wash quality is fair. I always have to re-clean windows due to bad Speaking and rear of car always has a residue that I must manually wipe off.

I recently stopped by this location because I found out they were charging me monthly for a membership I did not knowingly commit to. When I popped in the first time, I spoke with the attendant and asked for a single car wash. They told me that it was cheaper to do the free trial ($12.50), and KNOWING there's no such thing as free... I clarified by asking if I would be automatically enrolled in any sort of membership, and they said no. I pulled through, washed my car and left. This was in April. Here we are in July and I'm doing my quarterly finances and I see that they've been charging me $25/month since then. since I did not have a membership number, I was not able to get through to anyone using the app or website, so I showed up in person and talked with the attendant. She was very sweet and acknowledged my concern, then she searched through her database and was able to give me the membership number I needed to follow through with cancellation. Since I was already pulled in with cars behind me, she said I should go through carwash to exit. As I was going through the car wash, I heard a crack and noticed that Machine had snapped my antenna off and cracked my windshield. I immediately pulled over and spoke with the attendant, and he mentioned that people had been asking for quite some time to have the passenger side mechanism recalibrated because it was damaging vehicles. He also asked me if I had seen the sign with the warnings, and I said I had not. He mentioned that "he'd told management that people couldn't see it there, but they insisted", so I took photos of where it was located. I then watched him move the sign 15 feet forward and to the driver's side lane so that people could actually see it... (I have video of this happening). I then got on the phone with customer service and they told me that I needed to speak to the site manager. Guess what, no site manager. Nobody there to help me file a claim, just two nice hourly individuals that work for a company that ultimately scams people. I’m extremely upset, and I have a bad feeling that the firewall this company has put up to prevent me from to speaking with anyone in power will ultimately lead me on a wild goose chase. I'm requesting on-site video footage because these warning signs were not put out when I pulled in, but the team quickly put them into location afterwards in an effort to relinquish any blame. The equipment isn't calibrated right. The staff admits it. Avoid this place at all costs.
