I moved nearby recently and am pretty shocked at how dirty this place is and how slow the service is, particularly at the drive through. But it's the only place that doesn't take forever to get to. Today on October 26 2024, at 8;45 a.m., I had an encounter with a small squat white man wearing a pink polo Sheetz shirt that really pissed me off. After ordering online, I came to the drive-thru to pick up. Instructions on app were to let staff now at the ordering kiosk, but no Instructions on how to do that with the touch screen. I went to the window and waited. Then honked after 5 minutes. No one came. So, drove around to the kiosk again to see if I could figure out the system. Looks like maybe you have to enter your email and password? Ridiculous since I would spend 5 more minutes trying to find my password. Went to drive thru again and still no help. Went inside and one guy was working the register, another was wiping stuff and occasionally the polo guy would come out from the back to deal with a vendor. A woman comes out and announces she's leaving. Finally the very helpful cashier is able to help me. I pay for my order there and then he has to leave a long line of customers to find out where my food is. This is where I get pissed. Cashier asks the pink shirt guy where the order is and explained i had been there 20 minutes already. Pink shirt half-ass waves somewhere and continues his work with the vendor. I stare at him and he says, "well what is it that you want?" "My order!!" I said. Then he finally gets the fella who is cleaning to help me. I was there for 20 minutes in my pajamas before I finally got my food. Seriously, this Sheetz needs new managers.

I hope this is the right Sheetz. I’m reviewing the one that’s on US 1 coming out of Raleigh. Please DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I stopped here on 10/19 (Saturday morning) to use the restroom and as I’m washing my hands. I noticed a female employee come out the bathroom stall and bypassed the sinks and went straight back to work without washing her hands. JUST NASTY!!! She looks nasty too!!! I reported her to another employee that was standing at the register and I noticed that this employee WHO DIDN’T WASH HER HANDS went to food area!! That’s part of the reason people be getting sick! 🤢

Place has the worst cooks I've ever seen in a Sheetz. So first I tried to make myself a coffee only to find out that there's no milk at all.. then I Ordered a simple sampler and these dudes at 4am with an empty store... while also being the very first person to order waited 25 mins for something that every Sheetz gets done in about 5-10 mins max... then when I asked how long before I get my food I got an attitude. Yeah avoid ordering from this place. Just grab your stuff and leave

This is the sheetz right near me and it has a serious homelessness issue. Every time I'm here there are clearly people out front of both doors begging for money every single day visibly on drugs and drinking alcohol, squatting by the internal phone chargers, The parking lot is half full of abandoned cars, the air pump is broken, tables are filthy, the food takes forever, they don't stock their cooler with drinks, and other than the Asian guy everyone is rude as hell.... hands down the worst sheets i have come across. Shout out to the one Asian dude at the counter who is always in a good mood tho.

Crappy. Took them 15 minutes for a cup of fries. (They were not busy) Ordered a red bull refresher same amount of time on account of they put their ordered drinks on the other side of the store with no warning or announcement. Bathrooms were gross. Not a good time. Do better?

Very dirty!!!! Counters were dirty and nothing was stocked. There was just sticky dirty dried up food on all of the counters. Drink machines were dirty, floors were dirty and staff didn’t seem to care. They were not too busy to clean up, they just kept running to the back of store instead of getting some soap and hot water and sanitize the areas that customers use. I didn’t even venture into bathroom, the store was so filthy I just wanted to get out as fast as possible. Dirty places attract suspicious characters…. I did not feel safe. One of the worst sheetz I’ve experienced 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

They removed a bunch of outdoor seating which has seemingly fixed the homeless problem. Honestly hats off to sheetz for doing that the place feels way safer now

Ordered breakfast. It was prepared quicker than I expected. All of the random dipping sauces and sides were correct and included. Food was fresh for what it is. Seems like a decent Sheetz. Staff was chill while being productive. People need to quit whining.

Its not the employees fault I dont think. I believe they just need better management. Whomever is the district manager should come and help retrain everyone, and/or check in once a while ...including the store manager(s) on following the orders on the food receipts to ensure the customers dont have to wait too long for their orders due to completing the orders incorrectly. The employees are nice. The floors are usually very sticky. The grounds are usually filthy. The trashcan outside usually isnt too full which is nice. The food is always really good, although sometimes they skimp your orders or make them super messy. The bathrooms are ok

One of the WORST sheetz in the Raleigh area. I went in here on my way to work. Stopped in the store as a complete and utter mess. The tables had food all over them, drink station was disgusting. The employee who checked me out by the name of “Austin” was extremely rude and off putting. I will not be returning to this location. It’s dirty, the employees are extremely rude and it obviously isn’t being run properly.

Sheetz is a greater achievement business,since they're sincere in their efforts to nourish the general public,with excellent food. I usually visit this location early,monthly,before driving back to the NC coast.Fresh food in the morning is wonderful,with moderate intake,when traveling. I truly enjoy their robust menu, with various types of delicious choices & the coffee is top of the line. Utilize their computer system to place your orders indoors,pay at the register, afterwards relax & wait for your # to be called. Children become experts at ordering,very quickly! You could also, use the drivetru, if desired. Lines at the registers go forward fairly quickly.The place is kept very clean,with a usual short 15min/Wait.The Staff is very friendly, visit them soon....

Not a tremendously clean or inviting place. If you use gas buddy and the fuel is cheaper and you nearby then suffer through it. Otherwise maybe you don’t. It’s basically still capital boulevard still anyway and indicative as such. Wral soccer fields are nearby and/or the bonus is that it’s on the way to potentially nicer places?
