Husband out of town hunting and started having starting problems on my vehicle. Drove up here and they scanned the battery and sure enough it needed to be replaced. Purchased a battery and the really friendly guys in the store installed the new one and took the old one, couldn't have been easier! Thank you guys!

I stopped in to have my car battery checked, and when it was discovered to be bad, Jeremy was quick to find me the right battery and install it for me! So quick and easy pulled into the lot at 3:35 pulled out by 4:15. So awesome. Thanks again.

10/10! Cannot thank them enough for there amazing service! I was turned down by another Auto Zone not far from this location and decided to go with South Lyon instead and what a relief it was. Andy was the gentleman who assisted me and helped me pick out the right battery for my truck, and he even installed it on a rather difficult set up! Cannot thank him enough! He went above and beyond my expectations and he was very knowledgeable and thorough while explaining to me everything he was doing throughout the process. Good help is hard to come by and he is definitely one of the good ones. I appreciated the professional help. Keep it up South Lyon Auto Zone and thank you Andy! You’ve got my business in the future.

Don't put on your sign that you'll change brake lights if your staff refuses to do it. Went back in today, about a month after The brake light visit... Customers just walking out, one employee outside changing the battery, nobody else on staff. I waited in line for about 15 minutes. The employee came back in and then went back outside. AutoZone corporate you gotta get involved here. This is ridiculous. Multiple customers walked out.

Seriously Joseph is amazing! I’m not even kidding. I came in with my engine getting a hot temperature reading. (Long drive from Detroit) He came out and instantly said I need coolant. He just took over. Took care of me like I was his wife. Cared. Talked me through it. Did it all. I’m so blown away by his personality and customer service!!! Kudos for having such an amazing employee. What a wonderful man!!!

I was very disappointed yesterday, 5/21/24 when I spoke with the staff about low air in my car... They told me that using a recharge was an easy procedure and offered to assist with hooking it up, which I appreciated. However, never did they mention making sure the pressure on the display should be lower than the desired level listed on the can. Needless to say my pressure was very high and the can of Freon was wasted when the trigger was pulled. They claim to be the experts but basically it cost me $105.00 to find out they weren't...not cool!

Honestly not gonna lie I wish I could give 0 stars, my friends and I came up from Ohio and are car started to take a crap in mi so we came here for a part, not knowing much about cars cause where only 24,24,19 one of the employees that assisted us was really rude and does not honestly deserve to work in customer service, he called us hopeless and that’s really harsh not knowing what people are going through in life, so that was really rude also he said are you juveniles still working on this car that’s kinda messed up since we’ve been working on it for two hrs, I will not come back and definitely since this is how your treated your first time there also don’t know his name but hope he gets talked to. His assistance was poorly

I was treated incredibly rudely by what I believe was a manager of this store both over the phone and in-person. I reached out to the customer review email with details of my experience and they stated that they would elevate my concern to the Michigan regional manager and someone would reach out to me within 24-48 hours. A week passed with no response. I followed back up with the customer service email, and was told they would "forward my additional comments to the regional office." I still haven't heard anything. To me, this implies that the regional office does not care how its managers are treating customers, so they just lost one.

My grandpa and me went to AutoZone Auto Parts today in South Lyon, MI to ask one of the workers a question about my grandpa’s car because the radiator was leaking. So the store manager Mike fixed it. The air conditioning in my grandpa’s car was leaking as well. So he ended up fixing that as well. He only charged us $14 dollars and Cooks Automotive Repair in South Lyon, MI was gonna charge us $660 dollars. So if you ever need your car looked at it. Go to AutoZone Auto Parts in South Lyon, MI and when you go there. Please ask for Mike. He is definitely a very nice guy and he is definitely very helpful.

This company offers multiple locations across the Metro Detroit, and Southeast Michigan areas. The stores are well stocked. The employ ees are friendly and knowledgeable about their inventory. They have the ability to transfer parts to other stores, should the one you're at not have the part in stock that you are looking for, and a possible pickup later that day, or first thing the next day.

My son and I went in and explained that my son had his driver's permit and was coming in to learn about how to order parts for the vehicle and that today we were doing an oil change. Because my SUV kept stalling Matt F. at Auto Zone did the diagnostics test and seemed to know a lot about an Chrysler Equinox. I was a walk-in at AutoZone because earlier in the day my battery was completely dead and my insurance company sent someone out, they jumped it, and I drove straight to AutoZone where I met the nicest man who helped me make a good pic for a battery. He showed me choices told me the difference and then after I purchased, he went outside and installed it. I don’t know exactly what the temperature is, but I know it’s almost in the single digits. He was nice the whole time never complained and I hope you’re lucky enough if you go to AutoZone to get Gary!
