Sandy and Sue were so knowledgeable and experienced about cleaning materials and products, helped me find exactly what I needed to clean carpets, shower walls, and gave excellent tips even for making your own laundry soap, and Odoban for removing odors in all kinds of places! They have a very friendly and helpful staff. If you need help carrying anything to your car they are happy to oblige. They have decent prices for a local hardware. They also have a very large selection. I would recommend them to anyone needing hardware for their home.

This place is way over priced! I just bought 2 wooden stakes for $5 each! Ace is the place the shady robbery store. This is why we shop home depot. Small businesses don't get to rip people off!

I have been going to this Ace for years and my experience is always great and helpful. I recently had custom paint colors mixed, meaning they had to do this by experience and not just using a paint code alone. Debra has now done my ENTIRE house interior and exterior. She is AMAZING at the art of mixing color! I’m so thrilled with my paint. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful, especially Sue!

TALK ABOUT SERVICE! I walked in needing a very specific bolt for my snowblower. I was prepared to be looking through trays of nuts for the next hour. Not so, here at Great Lakes Ace. Within 10 feet of entering, I was politely and genuinely asked by John, without any sense of pressure, if I needed any help. I explained for what I was looking, showing him on one of their snowblowers and he immediately made my problem his problem and went to work putting bringing all of his 60ish years (sorry if I'm wrong) of experience to bear. I was in and out of there within minutes, happy, prepared for my task at hand and encouraged that good service is a staple item here. I'll be back. :)
