Honest and efficient service. The service people are friendly and helpful. The turnaround time is always impressive. And they are honest. I took my car in yesterday for what I thought was going to be a costly repair and it turned out to be something they resolved for no cost. Good waiting area with WiFi and close to convenience store/fast food restaurants in case you want to get something while you wait. Amazing service team...

My gf has a VW Beetle which I’m learning so much about how to maintain her diesel engine. I called the parts department and Melody was extremely nice and pleasant to talk too. The order were placed I went picked it up in two days. When arriving at 7:30, unfortunately I was unable to meet Melody but I had the pleasure meeting Eddy. The man who does a little of everything. My experience at Volkswagen was nothing but a great experience. There was also tasty donuts! I will be coming back here often when I need to do maintenance work on my gf’s Beetle. Thank you Melody and Eddy! 😊

Came to VV VW as a returning customer and recently had the pleasure of test driving an Atlas with Rick. I ultimately didn’t end up getting a car through VV VW because I fumbled big time with another dealer which killed the possibility of buying the car through VV. 100% my fault. Rick and manager Eric did what they could to try to save the deal for me and I’m very grateful for their efforts. Lessons learned on my part. I would absolutely recommend using them and will continue to be a customer via the service department!

I've now purchased 4 cars from Vacaville Volkswagen: an 07' Rabbit in 2007, a 17' Alltrack in 2017, a 17' E-Golf in 2020 and lastly a 23' ID.4 this year. I have brought all the cars only here for any services needed. Never had any major issues with any of the cars. Always happy with their customer service.

I've had my Atlas for 4 months and everytime I visit the Vacaville Volkswagen dealership I get great service. They put on my new plates when they arrived in the mail and switched them out when my disabled plates arrived. They've been so nice and kind and answered all of my questions.

Called in made my appointment. The lady on the phone gave me an 8:00AM on a Saturday. I asked her if it would be more than two hours. She said more like an hour and half. OK cool I have somewhere to be later that works. Drop off my vehicle at 7:53am Wayne the service guy watched me as I dropped my keys. I had another appointment close by so I filled out the drop off envelope and dropped my keys. Came back 3 hours later my car is not done. Now I’m mad because I’ve already put myself behind. I wanted to grab my car and leave. Wayne informed me he had a lot of other cars and only two technicians on a Saturday morning. Ok so what’s the problem I HAD AN APPOINTMENT two people should have had 8:00 time slots. He said a lot of people wanted their cars done. I understand this Wayne that’s why I had an “APPOINTMENT”. Very bad service on top of attitude all around if they can’t get cars out tell people don’t lie and say it will be out possibly sooner. Wayne you could have offered a discount for your company’s all around mistake. Or at the most been nicer like I was the customer who had just been done wrong. Changing dealership after I find one now linked to this owner.

Do not bother with other VW specialists in the area. I went to some people in walnut creek only for them to keep my car for 3 weeks, and charge 240 for a diagnosis of 'its like chasing a ghost we can't replicate the issue!'. I bring it here and they found the issue immediately. Another issue cropped up on the drive home and they did not charge em another diagnostic when i brought it back. In the time it took for the other guys to give me my dang car back with absolutely nothing done, Chris's team in Vacaville fixed my car *twice*.

I recommend this Volkswagen dealership. Are used to live up near them. I now live over an hour away. But I get such a good quality and thorough work from them. I will drive the time and sit in the waiting room to have my vehicle serviced through them. Competitive pricing friendly people. And through the COVID-19 Pandemic, they still have a waiting room with social distancing. They are worth the drive to have your vehicle worked on.

We were very happy with our experience at Vacaville Volkswagen, and most of all, our car! We found a car online (a Sienna, which they rarely have, but it was someone's trade in), so we came already knowing what we wanted. George helped us test drive it then allowed us to take it to a third party for a presale inspection as we requested. It was in good shape. We felt confident this was the one, so, we moved forward. Alom in finance was great to work with as well and very personable. Overall a smooth, simple, and good experience!

The receptionist at Vacaville VW , Alana is very passive and not that much help over the phone. They are more organized then Fairfield but the workers are 10x less helpful and accommodating.

I brought my 2019 VW Tiguan to Vacaville Volkswagen on June 25, 2025 because the rear passenger-side parking brake wouldn’t release when parking brake was engaged, but I made sure I never engaged it purposefully. After paying $220 for a diagnostic, I was told by advisor Matt Guilfoyle that I needed over $2,800 in repairs — including a new parking brake actuator (bilateral), rear calipers (bilateral), brake bleed, and recalibration. I declined the repair but paid for the inspection. When I went to pick up the vehicle, the parking brake was engaged, and the car was immobilized in their lot. I asked Matt if the mechanic may have activated the brake while parking, but he denied it. When I asked for help getting the brake released, I was told my only options were: - Pay for the full repair, - Tow the vehicle, - Or “rock the car back and forth” until the caliper “popped” free. That advice is unsafe and could damage the brake assembly. I was told it had worked earlier (the rocking of the car to release the caliper) in front of the service desk, but there were no skid marks or signs of this ever happening. Another rep, Chris Torres, witnessed the conversation. Left with no help, I had to manually remove the wheel and reset the caliper myself in their parking lot; even though I was told it couldn’t be done without replacing parts. It felt like they were trying to pressure me into agreeing to a costly repair by leaving the car worse off than when I dropped it off. This experience showed a lack of honesty, safety awareness, and professionalism. I would not recommend this service department to anyone. Be cautious. **UPDATE** Fixed the one damaged caliper with VW OEM part for less than $150.

Purchased our 25 Atlas here and within the first 3 months we have had the transmission go into “emergency mode” 5 times. We made an appointment to get the vehicle checked out. The woman service advisor stated there were “no stored faults” so they didn’t not check the transmission. A few weeks after the visit, the transmission went into emergency mode again stating “transmission too hot”. I called another VW dealership and they were very concerned about the issue and told us to bring the vehicle in immediately. If you actually want your vehicle to be cared for I’d recommend to save your time/money and go to Niello Volkswagen in Sacramento. They are true Volkswagen specialists.

I had an amazing experience purchasing a 2025 VW Atlas for my family needs. I had been in touch with over 6 VW dealerships and majority of them were trying to upsell or push a vehicle purchase that was above my budget/expense needs. The manager here Eric on the other hand was nothing but kind, understanding and creative in accomplishing my goals. They offered a really great pricing offer for a 2025 model with great financial incentives and working tirelessly on making sure it aligned with my monthly payment outcomes. Their level of professionalism, kindness and creativity is deeply appreciated and I hope my wife and I enjoy our new Atlas for our family needs.
