Home Depot Vacaville Is The Only Home Improvement Store That I Will Go To For My Home Repair Needs. I Frequent The Vacaville Location As They Have A Big Selection Of Products & Services For Their Customers. I Have Been Coming Here Since They Opened. Each Visit To This Location I Am Always Greeted By The Friendly Associates, It Isn't Difficult To Find An Associate That Is Happy To Help Even When They Don't Work In That Department. I Had A Very Pleasant Interaction With Dustin, An Associate That Went Above & Beyond For Me, As I Asked Dustin If He Could Help Me Find A Sensor Flood Light, He Said Absolutely. Dustin Explained My Different Options As Well As Suggesting A Better Option. He Noticed That There Was A Display Of The Very Sensor Flood Lights That I Was Trying To Find, He Also Helped Carry Four Flood Lights To The Registers As I Had My Hands Full Of Other Merchandise. Dustin Had A Great Personality And Made Every Effort To Answer All My Questions & Make Suggestions About Said Product. If You Come By, Ask For Dustin, He Is A Very Nice Young Man That Loves His Job Along With All The Associates To Help.

Good experience, found what I was looking for because the employee in the front knew her merchandise and locations. Store is clean and dogs are leashed.

Home Depot plant prices are higher than Lowe’s and they’re almost all half dead and you don’t get a discount for them. You pay full price and if it dies, you can bring it back but you have to save the receipt and the pot that they came in. Ain’t nobody got time for that!!

Many items (some even cheap items) are locked in cages and you need to track down an available associate with a key to open it and hand walk the item to the customer service desk for you. This is unreasonable and makes shopping a huge pain.

Went to buy a trailer. Got great customer service from the GM Alan and Nicole. Highly recommend. The next day Phil took the time to help me unlock the trailer and get me fixed up. Not every box hardware store has courteous and friendly people. Worth your time to stop through and say hello.

They did not have a product in stock I had originally gone in for (a cultivator). The store manager, Brian, was proactive and asked me as I passed by if I had found what I was looking for. I explained that I hadn’t, and he worked with me to get another product that would work equally well if not better. He modeled terrific customer service, and leads by example for his entire team.

Good place to go for parts...not really a place to seek fixing advice.

Out of all of The Home Depot stores in Solano county I call this store "HOME" even though I am originally from Vallejo, the superior customer service at this location keeps me coming back.

What wife tags along with their husband to Home Depot and has an amazing experience?? That would be me!!!! Selecting paint colors and shopping the promotional sale section while awaiting the paint mix was fun. But the absolute HIGHLIGHT was MANNIE!!!!!!!! MANNIE assisted us at checkout and he had us in hysterics!!! What an incredible asset MANNIE is to the Vacaville location! His customer service skills are off the charts!!!! Thank you Home Depot for hiring THE BEST!!!!!

I spend a good deal of time and money at this location, generally with good experiences. Tonight, my daughter and I decided to make an outing out of going to look at plants. She is temporarily disabled, after knee surgery, and ambulates only on crutches. Our plan A was to park close to the garden department to have short and easy access for her. That gate was closed leaving the front entrance the only option with a long slog on crutches to the flowers. Our plan B was to utilize one of the electric carts. We found 3. 2 had dead batteries and 1 was out of order, leaving us with little to no options. Needless to say, this was not a good experience, and the store lost out on some sales. Disappointing to say the least. If you are going to have ecarts, at least keep them charged

I think this is one of the better Home Depot’s in Solano county. Most of them it’s hard to find someone to help but I’ve always had someone ask me if I need help at this location. I really like being able to rent the flatbed truck which was $19.99 for 75 mins at the time. Very helpful!

First of all, I want to say that your store is really nice but I can't say the same about my shopping experience. When I arrived, I gave my orders to one of your staff, Alyssa. She was very sullen and I didn't think she even listened to my orders. And she brought the wrong order instead of the items I requested. She was also rude and insulting when another staff member working there asked her about something. Her behavior, tone of voice and indifferent attitude are unacceptable. I shop at many stores for my job, but this is the first time I've encountered something like this.I'm not usually one to comment, but this experience made me feel upset, uncomfortable and disrespected. Unhelpful, unprofessional and unkind!!

Home Depot is the absolute worst. They've gone for quantity over quality with regards to store personnel. Multiple employees milling around aimlessly and when asked about literally anything the stock answer is "uh...that's not my department ". Absolutely useless.

I shop here often, and I am pleased with the goods, and the customer service. Today it was exceptional. "FELIX" went far above the bar in helping me in the lumber section. OUTSTANDING!

I wholeheartedly recommend the Vacaville Home Depot over Lowe's, based on a recent experience. Attached is a copy of my sales receipt, timestamped 7:26 PM on January 22, 2026, to verify the authenticity of my review. Two hours before closing, I attempted to pick up an online order from Lowe's. The order consisted of a 2-inch diameter, 10-foot long PVC pipe, intended for use in re-coring a hand-painted canvas photography backdrop. I required the pipe to be trimmed by 8 inches. However, Lowe's customer service, after consulting with the on-duty manager, informed me that they were unable to provide the cutting service. En route to Lowe's, I was at the intersection of Nut Tree and Orange Drive, I decided to check with the Home Depot. I contacted their customer service department from the Home Depot parking lot, inquiring about the possibility of the pipe being cut. The representative confirmed that they could indeed perform the cut, even at that late hour. She directed me to Miguel in the plumbing department. I proceeded inside, and Miguel promptly and successfully trimmed the PVC pipe as requested. Our Vacaville Home Depot's willingness to assist, even at the last minute, distinguishes them significantly from Lowe's, solidifying my preference for Home Depot!
