My shopping experience is better when I’m at Lowe’s than any other home improvement store.

This is a good Lowe’s, the store was kind of a mess because it was right after Black Friday and a lot of the items where all moved around the store. I was looking for a fun that the Lowe’s app said they had but we couldn’t find it in the store at all

Went to Lowes today 8/9/25 and why is it that there is always no one at the paint area and there was other people waiting for someone to come. Someone finally came we told the lady the color we want and she come back in 10 minutes. We came back in over 15 minutes and it was not done the lady forgot about it and then hurry up and made it. EVER time we go in Lowes paint department there is no one there. My wife and I have had no problems with the paint department at Home Depot, there is always someone there.

Lowe’s is military friendly… from the parking to the working team standing by to help. We found everything we needed to kick start our backyard ambiance.

Yesterday, 08/25/24, at 6pm, I visited Vacaville Lowe’s for parts and advice. I needed to replace the water pump for my backyard water feature. I had purchased a pump but discovered that like all things, nothing is as simple as hoped. A floor staff person, Jim, did some problem solving. He came up with the answers for connecting the pump to existing tubing. Thank you Jim!! The pump is up and running!

I’m proud of you, Lowe’s Vacaville! This is how you hire great people and train them well. Every employee I met was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about assisting me. After leaving Home Depot frustrated, coming here was such a relief. Thank you for making the shopping experience so positive!

Lowe’s in Vacaville is our go-to spot when it comes to home projects. Whether you’re fixing something, starting a DIY upgrade, or just need supplies for the garden or garage, this store has it all. From tools and hardware to plants and appliances, they stock a wide range of products for homeowners, renters, and weekend warriors alike. The layout is organized and clean, which makes shopping pretty smooth. We appreciated how easy it was to find what we needed without wasting time. Staff on the floor were helpful — the paint department tech especially took time to walk us through the right products. Everyone from customer service to checkout was professional and polite. Parking is usually easy to find, even during busy hours, and the garden center is well maintained with seasonal plants and outdoor essentials. The store stays stocked and it feels like the team puts real effort into keeping it clean and presentable. What could improve? During peak hours it can take a little longer to get help, especially in departments like lighting or appliances. More self-checkout lanes or mobile pay options could also speed things up. But overall, the experience is positive and consistent. If you’re local or driving through Vacaville, this Lowe’s is a solid stop for home improvement, gardening, and repairs. Good service, clean store, plenty of parking, and a wide selection, that’s what makes it work.

The hubby sent me on a mission to get 2 things. A little over an hour later, I was successful. This store is huge; every aisle is spacious and clearly labeled. The employees were pretty helpful and shared what knowledge they had regarding my needs. I think this place has almost everything for any home improvement need. I particularly like the garden/succulent section. They have a nice assortment, but it's mostly common succulents that they carry.

What you would expect from Lowes, however after several visits seems near impossible to get customer service to help you. Last experience I asked 4 people and called their phone number and waited almost 30 minutes for help, which I only got after ambushing another employee that happened to be walking by (5th try). Outside of the available employees/service, this is your typical Lowes.

Was at the Vallejo Lowe’s when they didn’t have the tool I needed but Vacaville did. They helped me put in an order for my tool. On the way I called and spoke to Jared, and asked him how long it would take for my order to be ready since I was heading there and would arrive within 30 minutes. He assured me that he would make sure the order was ready when I arrived and it was. The experience was fast and easy.

I came in looking for a deck box that both lowe's and Home depot have but instead of waiting 3 decades for assistance at the depot I went to lowe's and they were able to price match me and help me right away. I came in with all the info on hand to make it easier on the staff and myself to get the process going and made sure it was cool with them before proceeding.

This Lowe’s location has really gone downhill. I’ve shopped here often and usually had decent experiences, but this last visit changed my mind. I arrived a couple minutes after 9 p.m., and every source online—Google, Yelp, and everywhere else—listed closing time as 10. An employee stopped at the door, shrugged, and walked off when I asked if they were closed. A few minutes later, several other customers showed up, also confused. The same employee eventually yelled, “we’re closed,” and blamed it on “daylight savings time.” I genuinely thought he was joking—what business changes its hours because of daylight savings? When I asked to speak with a manager, he said, “he ain’t finna come see you, man. He on the other side of the store.” I asked to confirm that the manager, Alonso, was refusing to speak with a customer, and he said, “yeah, he told me he ain’t finna come talk to you.” At that point, it didn’t even sound like the hours were the real issue—it just felt like an excuse to avoid dealing with customers near closing. If the hours actually have changed, Lowe’s should update them online. If not, Alonso and his team could use some serious retraining on professionalism and basic courtesy. But who am I to judge? I’m a Home Depot customer now.

Not all of my experiences have been the best with Lowe's. With that said I still give them five stars because of the manager Natalie who goes above and beyond for her customers. Thank you Natalie for your superb customer service!

To the employee that was upset when i walked in crying “we close in 1 minute “ needs to get disciplined, i was going in for 1 thing that was near the entrance and straight to check out but he wanted to be a crybaby, we all work jobs we don’t like and another minute of his life wouldn’t have been the end of the world. Unprofessional and lazy and poor work ethic. And yes im aware going 1 minute before closing can be annoying but when i needed something for work that was right by the ENTRANCE it shouldn’t have been a big deal.

I came into Lowe’s today to purchase a Microwave for an elderly couple who I help with random house maintenance. While I was driving there I got a text from a tenant that I manage a house for who told me their dishwasher is having troubles and needs replacement. I walked around for a bit in appliances to see which microwave and dishwasher I could purchase. There was 1 person working the appliances helping someone already, the. myself and 1 other person waiting for help. The employee noticed us waiting and quickly called for more associates to come help in appliances. Within 5 or so minutes someone (Kiera) had come over to ask if I needed help. I told her I wanted to purchase a microwave and walked her over to the one I wanted which fortunately in stock so she went to the back to get it. While waiting I was trying to make a decision on which dishwasher I was going to purchase. While I was waiting for Kiera. Another associate came over to see if I needed help. The other person that needed help was already being helped. Shortly after Kiera came out with the microwave I wanted then asked if I needed help with anything else. I told her I needed to purchase a dishwasher for a rental house. She was very knowledgeable about the different dishwashers and explained to me the differences of each one I pointed out as well as check to see if they had them in stock. I finally decided on an LG dishwasher that was in stock so I can get the quickest delivery and install. It costs $209 for the delivery, install and haul away of the old dishwasher and another $50 for the power cord and required hoses/parts. Since the dishwasher was in stock, I should be hearing from the delivery/installation person in the next couple days to schedule the delivery/install. Fortunately, I can install the microwave myself. I’m not sure if Lowe’s just happened to have more employees working today (Sunday, 2/2/26) or they have improved their service, but it was a very pleasant experience today. Special thanks to Kiera who provided exceptional service!

This location did not have what I needed but I was greeted at the door and without asking someone was very helpful with a few questions I had while shopping. No complaints, I'd recommend this location

Measure never, get the wrong size, go back and ask for help and with grace they are their to help you. I had to replace my fridge. I didn't measure the depth of the space it had to go into so I bought a new fridge, not realizing that standard and counter depth makes a huge difference. When they delivered and got it hooked up I was overwhelmed by the size, but the next day when I went to explain my issue they were able to help locate a suitable replacement, that didn't cost me anymore money and had it delivered in 2 days. Shout out do Luigi, Justin and Keirra. They took really good care of me and all of my issues. So grateful they were there to walk me through my errors. Now I have a working fridge that fits.
