Prices have been raised to 12/13/14 for automatic car wash which is almost the same as some (semi) hand wash places. Power dryer runs too quickly, leaving too much water streaks. Needs to have at least 30s more. Otherwise water pressure is good. Deluxe tier is good enough for general cleaning purpose. Top tier doesn’t make a difference.

The vehicle inspections cost more if you use a credit card. They hide the extra change on the wall in a sign and don't mention it at all to the customer, if you a ask the price. Skip this place and save your money. There are others close by that don't charge extra.

I love how close it is to home. They’re extremely fast in inspection. Always respectful. You get a discount on the automatic car wash with inspection. The self service car wash usually doesn’t have a wait on weekdays. Takes care or coins. There’s a bill changer.

Pictures below are for a just washed car. Poor results. The car is cleaner but far from sparkling clean. Not worth the money. I want my $12 back

University Car Wash is a great self-wash spot. I can’t review the drive-thru wash as I’ve never used it, but the self-wash and vacuum area is quality and a good value. I’ve been here about 10 times and never had any issues. Definitely recommend it.

I usually get my inspection done here then get the half-price automatic wash. Inspection is always quick and easy! Today, however, the car wash coupon didn’t work. So don’t bother with getting that half-off coupon anymore.

Had a great experience at University Car Wash and Inspection! The inspection process was quick and hassle-free, and the staff were super friendly. They even gave me a deal on a touchless car wash, which was a nice bonus. Everything was fast, efficient, and well-organized. My typical car wash spot was closed so wanted to try this out. I used the automatic wash and was really disappointed - my car was barely cleaned and still soaking wet afterwards (even though it technically includes some dryers at the end). I paid for the vacuums and there was something sharp at the end of it that ended up leaving a scratch on the inside of my car

Go here for your inspections. Clean, fast, professional. No bs or upsell. Good self care washes too. Josiah was working hard cleaning the place up early and getting me going early. Dude deserves a nice bonus from the boss in my opinion.

This is a really great car wash. The self service included conditioner and waxing as well as regular soap. I also utilized the carpet cleaner for my rugs, didn’t really make them smell any better but definitely cleaned them. I like how they have the area with different wipes and soaps you can buy. Overall a pretty decent car wash. The only thing I didn’t like was it seemed a little over priced and some of the services only took quarters or cash.

University Car Wash is the best car wash (automated) spot in Austin, and my favorite place to get my annual car inspection. I've been coming here for almost 15 years, and tell my friends about it. The automated car wash is touchless using sprayers, so there are No brushes that will eventually damage paint. I've never had an issue following the car wash green and red lights. The inspection is always fast and friendly. Highly recommend!
