Amazing experience! I had my car washed and the interior detailed after a long drive to Texas from out of state and I’ll definitely be coming back! I can’t remember the last time my car looked this good. Javier is so welcoming and fun! He really made the experience wonderful.

Not too sure what was so deluxe about the cleaning I got. I ended up paying $160 in total with a tip since I wasn’t able to see my car prior. Very disappointed with the cleaning I received and would appreciate being either compensated for the cleaning I received or a new clean. I took photos as soon as I got home from picking up my car, I could’ve cleaned it myself and it would’ve looked better than how I got my car back.

Visited this place on August 28, 2024 and had a bad experience. Here I am two and a half months later thinking, ‘hey! Feels like a great day for some extremely poor customer experience…let’s go to Barton Springs Car Wash.’ The “greeter” draped himself inside the open window of my car, CHOMPING and SMACKING on blue bubble gum (dyed blue tongue in full view), while we went ‘round and ‘round on which service he had SIGNED ME UP FOR! (No discussion, just smacking and scribbling — him deciding with service I should pay for). He scribbled something that I’m assuming his colleagues will understand and I (stupidly) walked inside to pay. I politely explained to the employees inside about my experience and that I had had a previous for experience, but thought I would give another chance. One very thoughtful employee went to get the manager. She came back, wouldn’t let me pay, and said he would speak to me. The manager (Javier) came inside and spoke with three other people (laughing joking discussing tomorrow’s game), completely ignored me and left. Not sure what else to say other than, you have been warned. So sad that businesses no longer care about customer experience or quality service.

We have used Barton Springs a few times now, and this last visit was just not up to par... I am very particular about my truck and expressed that and still 115 bucks later and the time it took me to reclean multiple areas of the truck myself is just unacceptable and disappointing.. especially the floor mats just left untouched and obviously dirty. Not a good experience at all.

Wonderful job. I recommend this car wash if you're looking for a decent one in Austin!! I got the interior package (which is 1 step before deluxe) and they quoted $120. It was $10 more for pet hair but I didn't mind, my pup had the back seat and trunk covered in black hair. I was very satisfied with the service and happy with how it came out. Beautiful shine and thorough clean and detailing. The service was very pleasant and kind. I will definitely come back. Very happy with the job, tipped $30. The payment asks for the tip up front, but just ask them to wait to see your car and they'll let you tip after the job. Plus you can walk over to east ciders while your car is getting worked on for an hour and a half. Check out Barton Springs Car wash!!!!

I came here a couple of months ago after moving to Austin, when I pulled in, they were super busy and I couldn’t see where the prices were located so I asked the guy who came up to my car about the prices and he acted like I was inconveniencing him with my simple question and gave me a bunch of attitude. The guy is a man child. Then I sit in the lobby for 2 hours and it turns out my car had already been done an hour ago and no one told me. I had to go up and ask. I paid for a detail and I was severely underwhelmed by the work they did. Take your car elsewhere tbh.

I was recommended by the employee to get the $45 option which includes exterior and interior. Initially I thought this was a great value and much more affordable compared to other hand wash businesses in Austin. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this option. After the service was complete, I got to my vehicle and there was still black sap/bird poop all over the hood of my jeep. When I pointed this out to the employee they told me that I needed to select the executive option which included a buff to get that level of crud off. I wish they would have just TOLD me that from the beginning, so that I could have selected the appropriate pricier option to make sure my jeep was actually clean when I left that place. I had to re-do my hood when I got home. So, if you’ve just got dust and dirt — the $45 option is probably fine! But if you’ve got crud baked on there, do yourself a favor and just pick the more extensive package. Other positive notes: super fast, very friendly and has a nice shady patio you can work from. Overall, I would recommend this place but I think the experience would have been so much better if the employee would have looked at my vehicle and made the appropriate recommendation, instead of telling me to purchase the option that didn’t actually leave my vehicle clean.

I recently went to the Barton Spring Car Wash to get my truck detailed best detail job I’ve had ever seen in years and they took care of my 30 inch rims and last time someone did that they scratched my rims but, at Barton springs car wash particular located at 500 S. Lamar they did an incredible job. I will only go there to get my car detailed and only there Thai you Javier and staff for taking care of of my truck I will be bring in my work truck and that one is gross inside and out

I’ve been coming here regularly for years and always get great service! If anything it’s just gotten better and better. Always happy energy when greeted and knowledgeable about what is offered. The check Out girl walked around with a selection of drinks on a tray one visit! That’s service! But mainly, my car always looks great and has been well cared for. There’s so much negativity in the world but coming here for a car wash literally lifts my spirits up! Won’t go anywhere else!

Took my 2025 Escalade this morning to get cleaned inside and out. Took them less than 20 minutes to do it, got inside my vehicle to only see it dirtier than what it looked before I took it in. Lathered in armor all, patches where it was wiped down quickly, rims still half dirty, right side of the dash was wiped but left side was untouched. Had them redo the inside and take off all that nasty shine and still half ass job was done. Will never be taking any of my vehicles there anymore.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This car wash not only totaled my car through blatant negligence but also caused me weeks of chaos, financial loss, and mental stress. The whole situation was surreal, and not in a good way. While cleaning my car, staff removed my floor mats and put them back soaking wet and unsecured—they didn’t even bother to lock them into place. When an employee got in to move the car, the wet mat slipped under the gas pedal, causing the car to lurch forward uncontrollably. My car crashed into a curb, wrapped around a blue metal fence, and smashed into a palm tree, eventually getting wedged under the fence. Here’s where things got even more absurd: the employee who crashed my car ran off, disappearing from the scene. Meanwhile, the manager—against my explicit wishes—began pushing on my car, trying to force it off the fence. Why? Because the crash was clearly visible from a major intersection and they wanted to hide it from the public. They insisted on moving my totaled car “to the back” to avoid bad optics, treating it more like an inconvenience to their image than a devastating accident for their customer. I called the police, but since I was on private property and no one was injured, they couldn’t come. When I asked for their insurance information, the manager couldn’t provide it. I spent over a week chasing them down just to get the most basic information I needed to start dealing with the wreck they caused. And despite never completing the wash (obviously), they couldn’t even refund the money I paid. The whole experience was a logistical nightmare. I was left without a car, under serious stress, and ultimately had to spend over $4,000 out of pocket to replace it—all because of a car wash. I never imagined a routine errand could turn into this level of disruption and damage. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay far away from this place.

I’m a regular customer at this car wash, and it truly deserves recognition beyond just the quality of the service. The operators are genuinely invested in the people they serve - customers and those they employ. The entire staff works incredibly hard, in demanding conditions, and do it with consistency and care. You can tell this is a team that takes pride in what they do. It’s rare to find a business that combines excellent service with such a strong sense of community. I’m grateful to support a local business like this and highly recommend them to anyone looking for more than just a clean car.

Worst car wash I’ve ever been to. They killed my car - left it on the whole time, so of course the battery died. They then jumped it without asking me and they destroyed it when doing so - all the check engine lights were on when I picked it up. This was 2 days ago. I’m now sitting at an auto shop with a $300+ bill. The wash as terrible, too. I had paid $175 for an exterior and interior wash, and there was still dirt on my steering wheel and sticks in my windshield.
