I looked to Total Upgrade and Dillon to perform an engine swap on my 86 Dodge W100 and I have regretted that decision ever since. I specifically asked Dillon if this was work that his shop could perform and he assured me that it was a home run. I paid $7k to get the ball rolling and didn’t blink an eye. During the actual install they made mistakes in reinstalling the water pump, headers and torque converter. These mistakes hit my pockets and there was little to no professional integrity to own up to these mistakes and or a sense of pride to make it right. It wasn’t until I reached out to Dillon to discuss their failures that we agreed on restitution of some of my funds. I no longer live in Oregon and have had to call and text repeatedly to remind the shop/Dillon of their commitment to reimburse to no avail and no integrity in site. It seems that they have no intention to keep their word. I have no idea how this shop has a 4.7 stars rating. If you read this be warned and skeptical of any work this shop says they can perform professionally.

They had a relaxing customer lounge with coffee and were extremely friendly and professional. Their texting service makes life much easier and being able to approve or decline work electronically was very nice. Horrible customer service, paid $500 for them to hold my vehicle for a week and replace one single alternator wire and then broke down leaving the shop anyway. This shop sucks. If you want the run around and nothing but excuses this is the shop for you.

I had a great experience with both the installation and removal of my ignition interlock device. The team was professional, efficient, and respectful throughout the entire process. Everything was explained clearly, and they made sure I was comfortable with using the device from day one. What truly made the difference was the ongoing support—especially from Brianna. She helped me every time I needed a calibration, answered all my questions with patience and kindness, and always made me feel taken care of. Scheduling was easy, and service was always prompt. The only downside is that they’re closed on weekends, which can be tough if you work weekdays and weekends are your only time off. That definitely makes scheduling a bit challenging—but their weekday availability and willingness to work with your schedule helps make up for it. When it came time for removal, everything went smoothly, and the professionalism remained consistent from start to finish. I’m so thankful for the reliable service and support. I almost never give reviews. It would have to be very special to do so for total upgrade. At 65 yrs. most would laugh of what I would tell you are my skills between 25 years of construction and 25 years in the semi conductor field! Admits most all my maintenance of my 2000 frontier I found amongst the most stress time, that I had inadvertently switched around a fuse. For those who recognize! It would be a rabbit hole of troubleshooting as a result. Which is exactly the accelerated week path I went down, until I gave up in despair. Within a day of delivering my vehicle to ultimate, Dillion called to honestly reveal my misplacement of such fuse. Wow! If they weren't honorable as such, they could have milked it for all they could.

These people just saved me at least $7000! Another shop was trying to tell me that I needed a whole new transmission, where, actually, I was told that I had my car in the wrong gear each time I drove it, so it stayed in 1st gear. They did a little work on my car to get it running better, and that was at least $100 less than I expected too. I'll definitely continue to go there for work needed on my car.

Fantastic experience! Tremendous customer service and they were extremely quick with the service on my car. I had been referred to them a couple of times recently and it's not hard to see why. I only brought my Hyundai Elantra hybrid in for an oil/oil filter change, and to have them inspect various areas of the car for future maintenance and they provided quick and easy service. They didn't try to upsell or convince me that there was something wrong with my car (which I can't say the same about dealerships). They treated me with respect and that definitely goes a long ways and is greatly appreciated. I trust them with my car and I am confident I will get exceptional service when I need to bring it back in. Dillon and Brianna are so kind and helpful. They were able to see my car that day and got it done over the weekend. My Civic starts right up now. No complaints! Everyone at the shop made me feel informed every step of the way.
