They definitely don’t open at 8am. It’s 8:15 right now. That’s unfortunate. I read another review the owner mentioned something about the weather as to why they’re late it’s sunny and 70 degrees. They opened at 9am. I don’t know how to explain this experience. The employees (all of them) all seemed like the most miserable people I’ve ever seen. Almost like they’re being forced to work. I felt terrible after leaving even tipping $20. Never mind the fact the car still wasn’t clean after a 2 min wash. I can’t in good conscious support this business.

If your car paint is black avoid coming here they damaged my car paint with swirls I saw another car that was also black and saw they did the same thing to that car with swirls and the one in charge had a attitude when I confronted him saying it wasn’t them and I told him I normally wash my car at home but that day I decided not to and let them wash it and BIG REGRET I’ll be taking further action

I'm glad I heard about this place. They're quick but on packed days it takes a little longer but when your car is done, it looks like you just got it detailed at a high dollar car wash. Great job!

Absolutely terrible service! No wonder they’re closing locations left and right. The lead staff’s communication skills are non-existent, and while a few of the team seemed to care, they couldn’t even manage a basic exterior wash. It’s ridiculous! I asked them to re-clean the areas they missed, and they flat-out refused, leaving dirt still visible. For a service I paid for, this level of carelessness is unacceptable.

Today I pulled up around 5:40 PM to get my car washed and detailed. This car was filthy with dog hair on the inside and they did an amazing job. All for only $45 plus a $2 fee for using a card. Their prices are amazing and they work hard as a team to earn their money. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis and highly recommend anyone to them.

I was the first one to get the car washed on Saturday 4/7/23. I paid $47 for an exterior car wash, interior cleaning and shining. After about 20 mins the guy said it is completed. I politely showed him that the part highlighted in the picture was not washed at all and I specifically asked before paying if they would clean all the parts and he said yes. When I asked about cleaning this part, he just handed the towel to me and yelled at me saying I am clean it myself. His coworker, another lady asked him to calm down and she just tried rubbing but still it was not washed as you can see in these pictures. This was such a rude behavior from the guy and I would not suggest anyone to get their car washed here. I paid for a service that was not worth.

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! We went in with our car, absolutely no dent and scratch and ended up with dent and scratch. We stayed in the car while wash is happening and kept hearing several banging sound (made us bit nervous) We tried speaking to the manager- at first he came to check out the dent and after few minutes of back and forth, he started lying to us saying he saw the dent when we were paying him. This is absolutely a lie as we saw him moving from car to car trying to get people to pay- never once looked at our car before wash. We suspect the dent was from water hose handle as we heard the banging sound + the shape matched the dent exactly. even showed him the water hose but he was so set on insisting this wasn’t their fault. We asked for contact number for the owner but he kept on saying “next time” (by the way its really difficult to communicate with folks that works at place. Limited English proficiency) Save yourself from dent and getting upset- dont go to this place!

My car was a total mess and they cleaned it like there’s no tomorrow!! Always happy when I come here , the team work is amazing and I appreciate their dedication! Kids and a car is a disaster lol no matter how many rules you put 😅 I would not recommend getting the shine service , as it gives the interior an oily texture not comfortable to drive. Mom tip: You can make it a fun trip with the kids , we drop the car off and sometimes grab snacks or go to sonic next door. Fun memories !! Attached photos of before and after 👍🏼👌🏽

I run a business aswell and know how hard it is to please people. However writing this review is a must and some sort of awareness to warn people of this location. I feel bad for the owner/owners of this location. One of your worker is terrible. Extremely Rude , Nonchalant, mean and have zero regards for anyone but himself. Whoever was in charge of the POS on Friday 12/05/2025 around 11am has to be the most mean human I have encountered since I was born 3 decades ago. That person has 0.00 empathy and simply on a mission to ruin that business. I’m new to Austin. Drove down to Austin for a Law enforcement work training. My vehicle was dirty and I didn’t want to pull up at the academy like that. First impression matters to me. I looked up car wash near me and this location was the closest. I didn’t read reviews. Just wanted the outer part of my car washed. Wanted a quick wash so I can head to work. I got there and this man said to wash my SUV(Range Rover Verla) outside only was going to cost me $45. I was perplexed. I reiterated I just wanted the outside and not the inside. He said YES! And there would be and extra $4 if I didn’t have cash. Believe you me I have multiple Airbnbs in Dallas and thankfully finances isn’t really an issue in this season of my life but $50 for a basic outside wash? While I was still perplexed and was about to ask ok maybe I should just wash the inside and outside…. he walked away. Mind you this conversation was not more than 2 minutes. It’s not like I sat there taking my time. I actually did not even have much time because I had to rush to the academy. This man walked away. I tried to get his attention and he completely ignored me . Went over to the car wash and started washing another vehicle. I stood outside in that cold trying to signal him The whole time. He bypassed me and went to attend to another vehicle that pulled up behind me. I waited for him to finish-I’m not confrontational. He literally walked past me and muttered if you think $45 is too much then leave. I said what? I’ve been here for almost 8 minutes and you ignored me the whole time while you kept washing the other car. I couldn’t even drive off because there was a vacant car infront of me. I told him he was very rude and I would like to leave. He said well this is one way. You have to wait in line and wait for us to wash the 3 vacant cars ahead of you. I asked him how long that would take and he rudely said 30 minutes. I said what? I do not want your services and demand to leave. You have the keys to these cars. Move them so I can go. His response you should never have come here if you didn’t want service. I went back to my car and sat there for 20 whole minutes. I was already late for what I drove all the way to Austin for. Stuck and could not drive off. Two Additional cars pulled up behind me, I had to go talk to them To help me plead with this man to let me go. I did not want to get a demerit at work. I explained to them and they were all concerned. ‘Man if she’s not getting service , even if she was going to get service and changed her mind that’s ok. You can’t punish her by keeping her here until you finish washing other cars claiming it’s one way. You can simply move the cars if you want to. That’s unacceptable.. We would have to back up and leave. That’s when he went to move the two vacant cars ahead of me. At this point I was already in tears. It was the worse experience and sort of a welcome to Austin. Terrible human.

I usually go to Pit Stop Car Wash at other locations and never had any issues, but this location was a terrible experience. The staff were rude, rushed the job, and didn’t clean my car properly, they skipped the few places inside and didn’t even wipe the screen. When I pointed it out, they just brushed it off saying “we don’t clean that,” even though it was supposed to be a full service wash and I asked the guy at payments about the full service so I paid $45. The guy even said, “don’t do that next time,” instead of politely asking for my keys. I drive a Tesla, so I was standing near my car since it locks automatically if I move away, but he didn’t even try to understand that. Honestly, I don’t know what the rush was, the service and attitude were completely unprofessional. Definitely not worth it.

Extremely Disappointed – Never Going Back I used to be a regular customer at Pits Car Wash for years, but after repeated bad experiences, I’ve finally decided not to return. If you have a dark-colored car (especially black or blue), do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The owner is extremely rude and dismissive — when I politely pointed out that my Tesla has a third row (which they’ve missed cleaning multiple times before), he got irritated and told me to “just go sit.” That’s not how you treat a long-time customer. To make things worse, after the wash, my car came out with visible scratches that were absolutely not there before. The lack of care, poor attitude, and overall hassle just aren’t worth it. There are plenty of other places that treat both you and your car with more respect.

Everybody crying about this service not being perfect needs to go to a much higher end detail specialist and pay their 200-300$ prices. This service is absolutely perfect especially for the rate they charge wether they may have upcharged you a bit or not. My only issue is indeed yo need to ask them to clean spots specifically like the glove boxes and stuff. Other than that I've never had real issues with this place and will continue going for a long time to come. (Edit): I absolutely revoke what I've previously wrote. I wrote the review before handing over my truck because I'd been here before and trusted them. Big mistake. After getting my vehicle back I immediately noticed an absurd amount of scratches on my truck the clearly go in a motion of wiping and when I asked about it I was told it wasn't them and if I didn't have any previous photos, then I couldn't prove it was them. All four of my previous visits where great and I tipped them handsomely for a job well done but not this time. The audacity to absolutely refuse to take responsibility is outrageous and I will never be returning here again aswell as everyone I know that goes here has been personally warned by myself. Go here if you can't afford a professional detail and need something cheap definitely but don't bring any expensive new vehicles here you wouldn't want to get damaged and definitely take pictures before every service.

Hi, This is a feedback from a loyal customer to the Pits! So, i have been using the other two locations for almost 2 years now and I love The Pits and the people too as they do their best to clean my car. I even recommended people to use The Pits for best hand car wash. But, Today I came to this particular location for the first time and I am so very disappointed! They finished so quickly and they didnt clean the inside properly and even the side mirrors and wind shield have so many water marks still. The trunk is still dirty and I had to tell them to clean it again. Whoever was there today at 10AM did bad job and I do not expect this for a service that requires $60. My dashboard is still dusty and floors are not cleaned properly. I had to leave earlier without talking to them and now am home and looking at the work they did and I have to give this honest review! Very dissatisfied at this particular location and I would never go back here. I need someone from this location to fix this bad service which is not expected from The Pits at this location.

Five Stars! As much as I don’t want to blow up this spot, I want this business to experience the success they deserve. I’ve tried memberships elsewhere and been disappointed. I did not want to pay the Pits prices at first, but after trials and tribulations with other car washes I now VALUE the Pits service so much more. They are doing the hand car wash you want. Honestly these days you can’t compare Pits Hand to other quick washes. You have to compare them to a detail service and then the price is a steal!! Get it SHINY. And Tip them!!
