Nice and clean location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also love the fresh products, discounts with the app and the marked down meats. I'm not crazy about that freaky robot thingy that trolls the aisles for price checking. But the two areas of improvement needed that keeps it from 5 stars are: the sorry popcorn selection and the even worse and severely lacking vegan section. A third would be the slim gluten free section.

I ordered groceries, went to pick them up, and they were short multiple items… but apparently they were pulled and scanned just not given to me. She said because of the issue they wouldn’t be able to get me the items and I would have to dispute the missing items. I stated I wanted it to be canceled. The rep said she would take care of it but it’ll take a few days. This was on Sunday the 16th. I assume it will take longer then normal for this to be processed. 15 days go by without me receiving a refund. So I call in to their online order, and they tell me there’s nothing they can do but refund it as a reward on my account. I’m furious, and this is unacceptable. That’s my money I gave you for goods not provided! I couldn’t even get a call back from management.

Smaller selection than the other Schnucks location in town. Heavily leaning on self checkout. Produce doesn't always look fantastic. Not the cheapest place in town. Not the best place in town. But it's the closest place in town, for us. And the staff has mostly been friendly enough. They are rarely packed, so it's good if you are trying to avoid crowds, even on the weekend.

I love this store. Easy in and out. Very clean. Surprising bargains on occasion. And every single staff member Ive encountered has been NICE. ATTENTIVE. KIND. As Columbia gets scarier, this is my go to grocery.

UPDATE: This Schnucks has gotten better over time. The employees they have now are friendly and helpful. Also, they updated their self checkout to 15 instead of 10 items or less. I still can’t use it normally, but the nearby Hy-Vee got rid of self checkout entirely. The problem remains management. When there are long checkout lines, they stand around dumbfounded instead of helping their employees. ORIGINAL: I only shop here because it’s close. The checkout process is ridiculous. Either you self checkout only if you have fewer than 15 items—and the system is terrible and far from user friendly. The workers by self checkout stand around and talk to each other, knowing that customers are struggling to use the faulty equipment. Once you approach them (which you shouldn’t have to do), they either don’t help or they don’t know how to help. Train them. On the other hand, if you use the checkout stands, you bag your own groceries and the clerks have no idea how to return the rewards you’ve built up—so what’s the point of building up reward money? Also, why are they even there if I can do their job myself? Selection is also subpar. This truly is a shoddy operation with employees who haven’t the slightest clue how to do their jobs. Either train your employees better and get new self checkout equipment or shut down the store. HyVee and Gerbes are far superior if you’re willing to make the trip.

I’ve been shopping here since they opened back in 2022. Never had a problem until the last year. So many times I have gotten food that has gone bad. There was a pack of chicken, a pack of shrimp, potatoes, bacon bits, pepperoni and I almost went home with expired lettuce yesterday but looked at the date and saw that it expired the day before. I really would hate to start shopping at Hy-Vee again because Schnucks is so much closer to where I live but I shouldn’t have to closely examine every item I want to purchase to be sure it’s not not spoiled and I shouldn’t have to look at expiration dates from a company as big as Schnucks. I really they figure something out because this is absolutely ridiculous. Groceries are already expensive, so I’m paying for expensive expired food. Not ok.

This is a nice store. We're new to the area so it was My 1st visit. Its MUCH nicer than the Schnucks stores Im used to. I was greeted by a staff member who showed Me where to find their selection of steel-cut oatmeal I came in for. Id call this find a win. The staff is helpful and friendly and the store is clean and well stocked.

I love schnucks but I picked up some sage today it was sitting on a shelf instead of the fridge and I brought it home not realizing it was bad. I have never bought sage before but so I didn’t know. It says refrigerate on the package too. Please refrigerate your herbs schnucks.

Always has fresh food and some good deals on fish, poultry and steaks. Always clean inside and friendly staff and parking lot big with many spots. Staff collects carts regularly this store seems to be managed well. CVS in Schnucks very handy too trust the staff in that pharmacy very informative and two pharmacists are great!
