A good place for great finds. Staff are very helpful. Lines are always chaotic. The lady in the fitting room gave me a hard time about using the bathroom cause it had a code on it.... other then that, most of the staff seem happy and helpful.

The other day I went in to grab some holiday stuff and literally loss prevention was told to follow me through the headset each aisle I went to they were right there . When I finally got done with the shopping one of the loss prevention woman stood right by me watching my transaction. I didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed at all once my transaction was finished the same loss prevention woman checked my receipt and voiced off on her headset that I was done shopping! Like what has this world come to?! I can’t shop in peace or enjoy my experience without being racially profiled . Loss prevention needs to chill not everyone who is POC goes into the store to steal! We make 90% of the sales and to have some nerve to assume is wild

I was at the checkout, and a lady with red hair, I think she called Claudia, was rude with me, she didn't make eye contact, greet me friendly, ask about my experience, she just scanned the items, she didn't even wait for me to pop up my wallet to pay, I was really nervous, stressed and on rush because of her, also I was followed by an associate, I think her name is Tewana, she was really rude with me, looking wherever I go, trying to friendly by greeting me every time she passed through, trying to see what items I have, and also one time, I was followed by also a lady named Angie, she was following me and suddenly, I saw her going to the checkout and start looking at me, and when I checked out, she was asking about the items I am getting, it was so personal for me, I got frustrated, and I will try to avoid the store, because it's to stressed going there.

Swap meet with security. We are all for low prices. But we would appreciate it a lot better if the store was more organized and the isles were wider to be able to fit our wheelchairs down the isles and conveniently with the other customers. The staff was not very friendly and they are clearly burned out from retail overload., you may not bring any of the baskets out into the parking lot as they have a huge pole that prevents you from taking the shopping baskets out of the store. We can’t tell you what a nightmare this was for our customers who use a wheelchair or walker and have limited to mobility but still have to shop. In an attempt to balance mobility and get their items out of the store one of the customers who uses a walker almost fell. The security guard advised that he is not able to leave the store and help her to the car. This was very disappointing.

My daughter and I went in last night for back to school shopping as soon as we walked in and started browsing a Filipino staff member went directly where we were stood there and watched us as if we were doing something wrong I felt like he thought we were going to steal something it was uncomfortable and definitely not ok we felt unwelcomed in the store we are customers not shop lifters.

I am from Redding Ca and the two ross stores in redding, and it's all crap. plus, they do not have petite sizes. Whereas, the one in Vacaville has petite sizes for women, organized, and I could find what I like. Everyone in the store is polite.

Be careful when using the self checkouts. They have a HUGE LCD screen in front of you, with a live video feed of you. The screen can easily be clearly seen by anyone within view of it. The bottom section of the video clearly shows the top of the card reader, including the buttons. Anyone can see the buttons you push, when you enter your PIN number.

One of the nicer Ross' that I have been to but... Clothing selection is great but self checkout is required. Then you have to go to another counter where the clerk checks your receipt then removes the security tag. Then your free to go. Annoying.Not a fan of being treated like a thief. No thanks. Won't be back.

I’m a regular shopper at your Vacaville store, but lately, every visit has become stressful. The security guard — an African American, mixed-race man who usually greets customers at the entrance and sometimes works at self-checkout — often gives intimidating eye contact and acts rudely when checking receipts. This makes customers feel uncomfortable and treated like criminals instead of valued shoppers. I understand the need for strong security, but it should be done professionally and with respect. Instead of hiring employees who make customers uncomfortable, please consider investing in more security cameras and better technology. Cameras can monitor more effectively, fairly, and without bias — and it would be a smarter investment than spending money on rude or unprofessional staff. Many local shoppers, including those in the moms community group, have shared similar experiences. Please take this matter seriously and make changes that create a safer, more welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone.

This Vacaville location has gone completely downhill. The restrooms are filthy, shelves are messy and disorganized, and there are never enough cashiers, which makes checkout painfully slow. Employees walk around doing nothing while customers wait in long lines. It’s frustrating to see a store in such poor condition. Please clean up this location, retrain your staff, and hire people who actually care about their work and customers. This store needs strong management and accountability , not excuses.

I really enjoy shopping at this Ross location in Vacaville. The store is always well stocked, has plenty of staff available, and is usually busy — which says a lot about how well it’s run. That said, I do want to mention the restroom. I normally avoid public bathrooms, but sometimes you don’t have a choice. Walking into this one felt uncomfortable and unsanitary, and honestly a bit scary. I truly feel for the employees if this is also the restroom they have to use throughout their workday. I hope the store can invest some attention into improving or updating the bathroom, because otherwise this is a great location.
