I am blown away by the level of customer service starting from the wash station attendant (Christina) right down to the Manager on Duty (Mike). I've been to Palms Car Wash a couple of times since moving to the Brodie Lane area and the amount of kindness and quality customer service I received today, truly left me speechless. When I went to get my car washed last week one of the car wash attendants suggested I come back Monday - Wednesday to get my car detailed (this way I wouldn't wait 3+ hrs during busy times). I decided to come back Monday morning at 9:00 AM. Knowing they had a Detail Center Lobby with wifi, I brought my laptop to be able to answer work emails during the quoted hour wait time. Unfortunately for me, there were about 6 other vehicles waiting to be detailed and on top of this, their Guest Wifi wasn't working. When I approached the Manager on Duty (Mike) and asked him to look into the wifi issue, he happily escorted me back to the lobby where he went into a room and tried to fix the issue. After roughly 10 minutes, he let me know that it wasn't able to be fixed and they needed a Tech to come out. Frustrated and irritated, I asked how much longer my car would take. With honesty and compassion he said it would probably be a couple of hours still since they had an influx of vehicles to be detailed and were short-staffed due to the pandemic. I let him know I couldn't wait that long because I had a meeting at 11:00 AM that I needed wifi for. As I was ordering a Lyft, Mike then asked how close I lived (which I replied 10 minutes) and he offered to drive me home. With lyfts costing outrageous amounts these days and knowing I was on a time crunch, I graciously accepted Mike's offer. To my surprise, around 1:00 pm, Mike called me back to let me know my car was ready and asked if I was ready for him to come pick me up. SHOCKED was an understatement. The fact that he not only brought me home, but also picked me up to bring me back to my car was beyond kind and generous. After experiencing Mike and his staff's kindness -- the car itself looked absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I've had months of pet hair, cross-country travels, sports equipment, etc in my vehicle. My SUV literally looks BRAND NEW! Mike, thank you so much. Your kindness and generosity are a true testament to why I support local businesses. Great people do exist and hopefully this serves as a reminder to be kind to strangers. You never know how much of a difference you can make in someone's life by showing another person kindness, compassion and grace.

Craig and his team at Palms Car Wash truly outdid themselves in getting my Tahoe into pristine 'sell-ready' condition. I had an unfortunate experience with another auto detailer in town—they charged me double, rushed the job, and left my truck with noticeable dirty spots both inside and out. It was so bad that I insisted on a refund. Frustrated, I found myself driving south and stumbled upon Palms Car Wash. From the moment I arrived, Craig extended a warm welcome and attentively listened to my story. We went over the specific detailing needs my Tahoe still required, and he presented various cleaning solutions tailored to meet those needs. Craig even personally took the extra steps to shampoo my carpet and buff out some unsightly scratches on my hood. The result? My SUV now looks better than ever—I couldn't be more thrilled. The team at Palms genuinely paid attention to every single detail, which is precisely what you hope for when entrusting someone to detail your vehicle.

Michael and others did an amazing job on my car (even stayed after hours to make sure it was perfect). Highly recommend the showroom special detail package. Only time the car has ever looked better was when the car was bought brand new! Even though I live in north Austin, it is well worth the drive for the fantastic service and attention to detail at this place and will be using them for all my detailing needs in the future. The detail package even includes headlight restoration and engine bay detailing, I just couldn’t stop myself from taking pictures!

Yesterday I arrived at the car wash as I always do, I went to wash my wife's car. When I arrived at the pay station, the sticker on my wife's car was not working, the customer service girl told me that I had to go to the office to speak with the manager in charge so they could review my wife's account to find out why the sticker was not working, when I arrived I found the manager in front of the lobby talking to another customer, she told me to wait a second that she was busy, that she would attend to me, I said ok, I looked her from head to toe and saw that she was not dressed professionally and I also did not hear that the topic she was talking about with the other customer was something work related, which gave me to understand that my time was not valuable to be attended to by her immediately. I had to wait for the lady to finish her "important" conversation so I could then receive her help. I have been washing my car at that car wash for over 7 years, but lately the customer service has changed. No manager should be dressed running a business as if he were in his own garden watering his plants. I will not continue spending my money in a business where they do not value their customes.

Went in for a quick wash and ended upgrading to a detail, Oscar did an amazing job with the detail and I’m super happy with what I paid for. It was ~$70 for the wash + detail and they had a waiting room with clean restrooms and free water for guests too. Would recommend and definitely coming back

I ordered a double detail service for seat conditioner and shampoo, and carpet shampoo. It included an ultimate wash. Upon pulling in to the service spot, I was greeted and asked what service was I looking for. I quickly got assistance. I was impressed by the double detail special pricing. I waited in a lobby which met beyond my expectations for a car wash facility. When I received my car these are the results. End up tipping more than I ever do anywhere $20 a piece for each of the two women. Thank you

After a muddy trip to Colorado, I came to get my car washed and the guys here hand sprayed the mud off and ran me through the car wash a second time at no extra charge to make sure I left with a perfectly clean vehicle. This car wash is always fast and friendly so I never wash my car anywhere else.

Best car wash in South Austin! I've been coming here for 10 years and never been disappointed. Sometimes on Fridays it is a little bit busy and you have to wait in line but other than that there are so many free vacuum stalls and car wash stalls that it can even take a heavy load on Friday on a sunny day after a rain 😁😁😁 The detailing is also a great deal and for only $20 they will wash and hand dry your vehicle. This also includes the rims and the tires which really makes everything pop.

Great, really hard working staff. They even sent me back to outer wash just because they believed my car was not clean enough (well, may be because last time I washed it was ages ago 🤭) They also have DIY vacuum for wash customers, which is great when it is not one of your lazy days. Oh, I also loved the large patio/garden especially if you want to stay outdoors. All in all, great car wash experience.

I recently moved here and finally found the Palms Car Wash. I figured I would try the basic wash for $9.99. I was pleasantly surprised to find two people toweling off the windows and mirrors on both sides at that price. Car was cleaned well and access in and out was easy. I also appreciate their free vacuums and available towels. I will get a monthly membership to save some money and start going weekly.

I have used a self service car wash to self service vacuuming and the high-end detail service here. Everything has been fantastic. Liz and Maria run a very tight ship. Even when my car got broken into they let me use the professional vacuums to clean out all the broken glass for free. The milk of human kindness is in short supply so people like this are rare. Cherish them.

If anyone is looking to detail their car, Palms Car Wash on Brodie is outstanding. I was very sick and 🤮 all over my car. Most of it was on the rug that I tossed out. I felt so embarrassed to get my car wash. The lady named Maria that helped me was so sweet. She asked nicely if it was 🤮 and didn't make me feel embarrassed at all. She and the guy, I think named Gary didn't even blink an eye. I really appreciated them being so sweet and not making me feel bad for my accident. This really made my day. I just did a la carte items. Inside car regular cleaning was $54.99 and since I recently detailed my car, I only needed one chair cleaned. It would normally be about another $60 to upholstery clean all the seats but she was nice enough to charge me less for just one chair. It was so cheap. Did an excellent job too. I tipped him very well. Please support this place. A gem!

Great car wash! I was a little confused by the time cause I think I had to swipe my card three times to complete my wash but maybe user error, I don’t know. It’s very organized to get to the detail area. I appreciated the vacuums work well and the air is strong for detailed cleaning!

Used to have 6 cars on the membership plans. Lately the location is extremely over-run. They cannot direct traffic and incidents happen in the tunnel right in front of you multiple times a year. They leave slimy wheel dressing all over the side of your car from the tire brushes. This looks like black muddy grease and you have to clean it off every single time. The gates are always broken and the POS system is always on the fritz. This means you usually get less than the wash you paid for. Instead of ceramic they will you basic or one step above. They are always out of towels and the vacuums are always clogged with legos and food wrappers people suck up. It used to be amazing a few years ago, now I have moved on. I suggest you do as well.

I had a great experience at Palms Car Wash! I really appreciate the variety of wash tiers. Prices start at $9 and go up to around $20, which feels very reasonable. The free vacuums are also a huge bonus. What truly made this experience stand out was Liz. I accidentally locked myself out of my car, and she went above and beyond to help me figure things out so I could get back home and resolve it. She was incredibly kind, authentic, and genuinely caring. Moments like this are what turn a good service into a great one and create loyal customers. Thank you so much, Liz. I truly appreciate you.

Due to debris on I35 I got to replace my front bumper cover, grill, and one headlight lamp. Of course the other headlight had years of oxidation. Went to Plams and had the old headlight restored and, wow, what a difference. Tough to tell which one is new and which one is restored. Quick and economical (price id $59.99 but as I only needed one, only $30)

Palms has a $99 deal right now where you can get your car washed and chose two other cleaning services. I chose the Superior interior clean offer and the cloth seat shampoo/deep clean offer. Maria is the manager at this location and is very nice and helpful. Their lobby was clean, comfortable, had a couple of TVs, cold bottled water and coffee available. The restroom was extremely clean as well. The employee who detailed my car was Gary. I could not be any happier with the job he did making my 9 year old car look brand new. I am preparing for a long road trip and wanted to have the interior and exterior of my car look great. Mission accomplished. I will definitely visit this location again and if I need any additional services besides a car wash, I will definitely ask if Gary is available. All of the other detailers were doing a great job as well. I am impressed.

Quite impressive! My car was completely covered in pet hair. I wasn’t sure it could be completely removed, if much of it at all. They did an amazing job! Definitely returning. Everyone was friendly. Completed in a timely manner, within an hour. For how much cleaning needed to be done, worth the price. I also used their car wash service and signed up for the monthly membership. Clean lobby.
