This was my first time in Northern Tools in Beaumont-the other day. I had a great experience there. A young woman named Rachel help me to find what I needed. She knew if I needed to purchase any other items that would me help me. Great store. I didn’t wonder around looking lost. I would go back there again.

If I could give them 5 more stars I would, I received superior customer service from Nathan and the management team in Beaumont,TX. I haven't seen really good customer service like this in any other competitors store, keep up the good work gang you've gained a repeat customer 👏

Wheelchair accessibility, or rather lack there of, makes shopping difficult. There are handicapped spots but they place items on the sidewalk going from the ramps to the store entrance, leaving no room for a full-sized wheelchair to enter the store. Simply moving the equipment further from the wall, out of the path would fix this issue, allowing for All people to shop.

Beyond exceptional experience. mr. Blake assisted me over the phone and when I walked in the store you give me a warm welcome with a smile. Together we did much research in store to differentiate between the products finding the one I needed. Customer service Paramount to all the rest in this area I highly recommend is definitely will come again

WARNING! Watch what you purchase from this store. Bought a leaf blower from them got home tried using it ran for about 5 mins then died. I called the store to let them know I was having issues with it to see if they would swap it out for me manager informed me they don't swap them out even though it was purchased the day before was never told this before I purchased it. To me it's completely unacceptable I understand not giving money back that's understandable but for them not even do a even exchange and not say that before I purchased it is not okay. Just writing a review so people don't make the same mistake I did.

Please shop here! The manager is awesome and willing to go above normal customer service. You won’t be disappointed. In our hectic lives sometimes it’s just refreshing to come across people who do their job, and Do It Well! We purchased a Power horse pressure washer and aprox. 3 days later there was some issues with it. My husband took it back for exchange with receipt in which it was to be assessed by a maintenace worker. We waited 4 days to get a solution which resulted in an exchange 4 days later. (that could have been done the day of return) We could not get the general manager info from the manager Rachel the 3rd day. Had the manager kept it professional with my husband this could have been solved the day of in which she had him going back and forth with enticement purposes toward him. It became uncomfortable for him which I had to step in. After the exchange of the Pressure washer, there was not even an apology given for our delay of service. We have done business with this location and easy to find equipment is convenient. I just hope the management team matures and keep it professional with customers, where men can go in and not have to deal with inappropriate behaviors/conversations from your employees.

I contacted northern tool to find a 7 mm hex wrench. Online was great. Upon arrival found the advertised set did indeed not have a 7 mm. Helpful agents found what I needed.

Nice selection but customer service is lacking. Tried to exchange a faulty item I had purchased the previous evening. They kept telling me "That's not showing up under your phone number" (I had my receipt) I pulled up my account, showed them where I purchased it and was told to call their 800 number. Everyone in the store kept using acronyms for their store procedures when trying to explain what happened. None of it made sense, very condescending supervisor, took my information and went back into his office for over an hour before finally coming out, refunding my purchase and selling me an identical one. Told me the price went up overnight and the new pump was $30 more than the one I just bought and tried to exchange. I showed them their own website and price listed, was told to "calm down, we'll honor that price". Overall, don't waste time going into the store unless you have to. Took me an hour and a half to get out with a working pump.

They generally have what I’m looking for. Never had any reason to not come back into the store. Most everything they carry is good quality and reasonably priced. I have never had any problem getting the staff to help me, contrary to what has been stated in some previous reviews. In fact, the ladies at the checkout counter are as helpful and courteous as anyone could be. I have been a customer since the Beaumont store opened and I will continue to be that in the future. I can get what I want/need at a local store at a fair price, from friendly and helpful people. That just about sums it up. What else could you expect?

10/4/ 2020 Here we I am 6 Weeks after reporting To corporate northern tool being screwed over by the Beaumont Texas store service department. And they have done absolutely nothing. 9/26/2020 I purchased a Generac generator and the plug, the 30 amp female receptacle got bumped and broke way too easy. This is within 90 days but brand new and kept in the garage. So it's still under original warranty and extended warranty. I brought it back and they charged me I can't remember if it was 20 or 40 bucks just to look at it and said I would get my money back if it was deemed a warranty issues. Anyway they called me said they replaced the plug. And it wasn't under warranty they may have even charge me more so today I'm using my generator and the plug fell off. They glued it back told me they replaced it and I'm out a generator during post-hurricane with 5 to 7 days of outage.

I'm really beginning to like this place for a couple of reasons... One the customer service is exceptional. 2 they actually have really good prices on most things. And 3 they have a large variety of items especially items that you can't normally find at hardware stores Etc...

I went in last night about 6:50. The store was closing at 7, and I was trying to get a propane fitting. I had a fitting in my pocket and I was trying to match it up in the store manager come up to me and was really mean it was more or less telling me I couldn’t be looking at different parts, etc. etc. That he was closing, he more or less pushed me out. The door was very rude. I will never shop at Northern tool again. The BEAUMONT Northern tool is the worst I’ve ever been in. I work for several industrial companies around the area. I will make sure I tell everybody about my experience.

I had an issue with a welding machine that I recently purchased from another Northern Tool store and I brought it into the Beaumont location for assistance. I am truly impressed with the time and genuine effort that Reggie, the store manager, invested in helping me. His staff was also very friendly, courteous and helpful. The experience left such an impression on me that from now on I will shop the Beaumont Northern Tool store first before looking for an item elsewhere. Exceptional service like this is extremely rare these days.
