I pre-ordered two 20lb propane tanks for a heater. I arrived and followed the directions that were emailed. From the time I entered the store until I left, was a great carefree experience. Shout out to the information person, the cashier and to the man at the propane fill station. I have hardware stores closer but none with the selection that they have in stock. I will definitely be back to M&D Hardware.

I picked up some items I ordered online today. Everyone was so nice and helpful. After I got my items, I put them in my car and came back inside to get some frost covers for my plants and some extra propane. I wasn't sure how many of the 1 lb propane tanks to get but Emilio walked right up and helped me decide. He very kindly carried my items to the front for me and went out of his way to make my shopping experience excellent. Thank you for hiring outstanding young people to work in your store!!

M&D Supply Ace Hardware Beaumont 🦸‍♂️ Not all heroes wear capes, but this week, we were reminded of the everyday heroes among us. Todd Simmons, a manager at M & D Supply, became our hero during a critical moment. During our drive back to Texas from Florida on Thursday, August 1st, my son found himself in a frightening situation when his seatbelt tightened and restricted his breathing. Despite the efforts of three other kind-hearted customers who tried to help with their tools, we couldn't get the seatbelt to release. In this moment of urgency, Todd acted swiftly and decisively. He ran inside the store, grabbed a box cutter, and freed my son from the seatbelt's grip, ensuring his safety and well-being. I reached out to express my gratitude, and although Todd wasn’t available when I called, I had the pleasure of speaking with his manager, Pat Salinas, this Saturday morning. Pat was incredibly kind, taking the time to chat with me and ask about my son's well-being. His compassion and concern were genuinely heartwarming. I am profoundly grateful for the incredible people at M & D Supply Ace Hardware in Beaumont, Texas. Their quick thinking, generosity, and kindness made all the difference in a moment of crisis. Thank you to those three men who helped, and thank you, Todd and Pat, for embodying what it means to be a true hero.

While my previous experiences at this store left much to be desired in terms of customer service, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the recent efforts made by management to address these concerns. After posting my initial review, I was personally contacted by the store manager, who went out of his way to listen, respond with professionalism, and reaffirm the store’s commitment to customer satisfaction. He made it clear that they are focused on the individual customer experience — not just making sales — and his outreach felt both genuine and proactive. That kind of follow-up goes a long way in restoring trust and showing that feedback is actually heard and taken seriously. Although some service issues still need attention, especially in specific departments, I truly appreciate the manager’s willingness to engage and improve the experience. It’s encouraging to see a business take accountability and show that they care about earning and keeping their customers' respect.

M&d supply in Beaumont is one of my favorite stores to shop at. Almost any special product or item that I need I can usually find it at m&d. The associates are very helpful and you don't have to find them they find you and ask if you need assistance. They really care about their customers.

Brought my Echo weed trimmer in for repair in November 2025. They promised to be ready in 3 weeks. After several calls to check on it, the employee told me parts were on order. In January 2026, I called to check on it, was not ready. A week later an employee called to tell me that it was not ready but would cost me $75 more to complete repairs. I agreed, after having already paid $45 when I dropped it off in November. After receiving no further contact I decided to go into the store to check on my machine. Only to find that it was ready and the cost was now $165. I felt that that was dishonestly on their part. (I have been shopping at this location for over 25 years.) THIS IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS!!

This is a fabulous local hardware store. They care, and it shows. Every time we are in there, the employees make us feel most welcome. They don't point to where something is, and they don't say it's 'over there'. They personally walk me over to the item I am looking for so I don't have to hunt around for it. Brenda did that for us today, and was very helpful, and appreciated. Brenda was able to tell me about the various products they have, such as different sizes for tarps to cover plants in freezing weather. They even have it on a roll, so they can cut it to whatever length you need. And don't forget the free bags of popcorn to enjoy while you shop. It's a nice touch. You can't go wrong shopping local like M&D.
