I brought my vehicle in on June 13, 2013. I had to call and reschedule from my original date so I called that morning to confirm that my Living Social Coupon was valid. The woman who took that call assured me all was good. She made no mention of any other fees either on the phone or when I dropped my vehicle off. When I got to the location I handed her my coupon and they took my car back. When I came to pick up my vehicle the same woman who was there when I dropped it off told me I owed $90.00 on top of the coupon because my coupon was not valid since I changed my appointment. Now that coupon was for a service and not a gift certificate. I expected to receive that service that was listed on the coupon as I called ahead to make sure they would honor it. Again, they made no mention of any other fees being due when I dropped my vehicle off. I then e-mailed the manager and got a response back that the scheduler did indeed let me know that the coupon was not valid for the service I was having completed. I left pretty upset and will not be going back.

My brand new Honda 2018 CRV was vandalized with spray paint, including the chrome parts of my car. Scott did a FANTASTIC job removing the spray paint. My car looked brand new, just like when I bought it back in July. You couldn't even tell that it had been vandalized. The owner TIm was also very kind, easy to talk with, and was willing to drive me between the car shop and work, which made this experience even more convenient! I would highly recommend Hometown to anyone who is looking for a quality, friendly, personal car shop.

I’ve been using Hometown to detail our cars for five years and they still continue to do a fantastic job. I come from a car washing/waxing/interior cleaning family (cousin also owns a detailing shop in Illinois) so I know what great detailing looks like. Hometown has hit the mark every time we’ve used them - four automobiles in our family. Thank you for the great service abd professionalism!!!

Last experience was absolutely horrendous. We took back our car because of an interior detail that was caused by something from their cleaning process on the drivers car seat. We expected them to redo just that section spot and make it right...since it appeared after their detailing it. Further, there was no discussion of any additional charge. Well low and behold they charged us ...$100, explaining they did the remaining interior, which did not need cleaning nor did we request it. They never gave us any estimates of any charge. The owner was frankly rude and didn’t even offer to say work with us on a compromise. Never taking our cars back there, nor will members of our family and relatives. In response to the owners comments, below we feel it’s important to put the record straight. Frankly the owner did not handle the situation very effectively when he could’ve offered options but instead chose to walk away. There was no discussion about or expectations of “free service”. Unfortunately he states that an estimate and email of costs was provided to which we agreed. That is simply not true. If it is true then show us those documents. If we were true we would not be writing a negative review. We would have politely declined the service by simply saying “thanks” but no thanks. It is for this reason we recommend one doing business elsewhere.

I was really excited to receive a gift certificate from my dad for $290 to get my car detailed at Hometown! My plan was to get the car detailed on its anniversary date ("the gotcha date") of March 22, which nicely corresponds with the end of winter and a great time to get it all cleaned up. Unfortunately, that year was 2020... and in March of 2020, the entire world shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So I thought I'd wait until things opened up again, and I'd want to drive a lot again! And the car would be like new, how exciting, right?! So I waited until I got fully vaccinated at the end of May in 2021, and I contacted them... and it was at that time, I realized the gift certificate of was good for just one year and had expired. So I called and talked to Tim, the owner. And he was very gracious, understood the circumstances, and because of the crazy year, offered to honor that gift certificate anyway. I'm now scheduled to have my car done, hoorah! I would highly encourage you to do the following: 1) Get your car done here. These folks are local, family-owned, and care a great deal about you and the quality of their work. 2) If you get a gift certificate, don't make the mistake I did and let it sit too long! Yeah, the pandemic was a tough situation for all of us, but take that gift and do something with it and don't rely on Tim's generosity. He didn't have to do what he did. He's working hard to run a business, and I truly appreciate what he and his family were willing to do for me. And soon, I'll have a clean car I can be very proud of. :)

I have been a repeat customer throughout the years and they have detailed 2 convertibles, 2 SUVs, and a bus for me. I've never researched using a voucher, so all of my experiences have been at full price (I think I've had a few $25 discounts). I've always been treated very well, and I've been very happy with the work completed, from the "Destresser" to the "White Glove" services-- their work is top notch. Definitely worth the investment to keep the my vehicles looking and feeling new.

Wow. I brought my car home for the holidays from Charlotte, NC. Mom gave me a gift of a Detail. My car is a 2005 Honda Accord it has had its share of problems especially the interior. Our dog had made a mess of it and I have to say I contributed too. My car had never been detailed. When I got it back much to my surprise the car was shiny, headlights were cleaned so you could see when the lights were on. but it was the inside that really impressed me. The seats and all of the other inside was clean smelled good and there were no stains. It was not wet but so clean I did not expect it to look like it did the day I drove it off the lot, but it sure came close. I could not be happier. The scratch that was there from being side swiped was gone. Thank you Hometown Detail. Thank you Mom - Love Kathie Eberhard

I set up an appointment for the de-stresser/de-messer package and woke to a flat tire! i called to possibly reschedule and the owner sent Scott out to assist with my tire issue. Talk about outstanding customer service! Scott cleaned and detailed my car and also made sure all of my tires had correct tire pressure. My car looks amazing inside and out! I am very pleased with Hometown Luxury Car Wash & Detail Spa. I will definately be a repeat customer and will tell all of my friends. Thank you! I brought Hometown a disaster interior for detailing. I purchase this particular vehicle to carry my 110 lbs of Black Lab around. Needless to say, he destroyed the rearseat with fur, food, window slobber, and as he got older.... well accidents. My car came back looking showroom new. I kid you not. Had the exterior washed and waxed too. The car sparkles. The staff is professional, lots of reminders. I was so happy with the results, I brought my gf's car in a week later. She's raving about how great her car looks, feels, and smells. Folks, there is NO WAY 'you' can do a better job than Hometown. Don't tell me you can do it cheaper either. The 'tools' these folks must have to clean every nook, cranny, crevice, side door pocket, ashtray, vents, you name... you'll spend a fortune, and it'll take you all day. Just roll your car over to Hometown... and let them do it.... they'll even give you a free chocolate bar.

I have a leased vehicle and wanted to get it cleaned up before I trade it in so I thought get it detailed. What a great idea. The people at Hometown are very friendly and did I mention they do a phenomenal job. My car is three years old and it looks brand new inside and out, just like the day I drove it off the lot. I’m hoping I’ll see some return on value because of this. My wife and I are blown away! I will definitely bring my car back for future detailing inside and out!!!

Hometown has been absolutely amazing with my family’s vehicles for years. I recently purchased the De-stresser/De-messer detail package and was unbelievably impressed. My interior looked brand new, which is especially difficult as a dog owner. Scott, the detailer, did an amazing job on the exterior as well. I had several scratches that were gone when I picked my vehicle up. I was not expecting this to be part of the service and am extremely grateful. Thank you again for a great experience!

I purchased a used car from a private seller and it was overall in good shape but was pretty dirty on the inside with kid crumbs and juice spills. I had never had my car detailed ever other than doing it myself. When I got my car back it was in "new" condition. I was thoroughly impressed and had my engine cleaned and headlights restored...I was happy to drive around in my fresh, clean car! This is the 3rd time in 4 years that I have used Hometown. I keep going back because every time, after a detail (exterior and interior), my car has looked brand new. Also, they didn't raise their prices this year like a number of other places did. 2024 Update - Still going to Uptown once a year for my car and now my granddaughters car too. They did a great job refreshing the look of my neglected, 15-year old car. I got the de-stresser/de-messer package, and I think it was well worth it with an impressive result for a low price. I probably didn't need the exterior service, but they did a great job in the interior with what they had to work with. Carpets look great, leatherette seats look great, and all of the other surfaces looked spotlessly clean, including the discolorations that I assumed were permanent. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am extremely happy with the service and quality of work performed by Hometown Luxury Car Wash! I brought in my 2013 sedan with the intention of having it detailed prior to selling it. After they were done I decided to hang on to the car for the foreseeable future, the vehicle looks brand-new inside and out. Their attention to detail is impeccable and they even topped off my tires and cleared a warning light that had been locked in for years. The staff was friendly and helpful as well, I will definitely be returning and recommending them to my friends and family!

Amazing!! I scheduled an interior cleaning for my car after my Mother had such a great experience with hers. She recently quit smoking and Hometown was able to remove the smell from her car completely! My experience today was great. I have two kids and with that came a lot of spilled food/drink/dirt in my car... including melted candy on the backseat! When I picked my car up today, it was spotless. I'm so impressed with the quality and price. I'll definitely be returning! Thank you.

Had my 3-row SUV detailed here and they did amazing work. It was done in 4 hours and looks like a brand new car. Plus the staff was wonderful and communicative the whole time. I'll definitely be taking my car here in the future. My only suggestion is adding an option for the "new car smell" so the car doesn't smell like cleaning chemicals. I'd pay extra for it.

Friendly and fast. Was able to get appointment within the week. Completed detail of my SUV in less than 5 hours. Inside and outside detail was meticulous; no streaks,smudges or smears. I was able to get my truck in and detailed with the specialty renewal package before I put my truck up for sale. They were able to complete it on short notice on Christmas Eve and did a great job. Haven’t had my truck that clean since I bought it. All around great service and will be using them in the future for all vehicles
