Good store, usually has a decent stock. Come early for the couponed tool deals. Casher was a bit odd though (elderly man, wearing mostly women's clothing, including what was apparently a stuffed brassiere...)

I was in last week to buy a grinder & a blade. A couple days later, before using it, I went back for an attachment. Both times Dan helped me. When I expressed concern on the second trip about whether I'd hooked up the blade correctly, he took the time to demonstrate with an actual grinder how to attach it correctly, which I definitely had not done. Excellent customer service both times, probably saved me an injury. (Hope I got the name right, has a blond buzz cut.)

I showed up at 7:50 one evening and the doors were locked. I know closing time was 8:00, but locking up that early is a little excessive. I know it wasn't because of staffing issues because I could see 3 employees just standing around the cash registers. All I needed was a moving blanket I would have been in and out in under 5 minutes. Very bad way of doing business. So, I drove down the street to Menards and they were happy to take my money.

Walked in and wondered around so long it started to become funny how the employees wern’t interested if I needed any help. Anyways after my struggles of finding my few items I went to checkout and what appeared to be a manager made a snarky remark as if It was my fault for asking for the free gift that’s advertised on the counter as a free gift no purchase. 50$ later and shitty service I had to write a review. Worst HF in MN

Most of time every time I go shopping here is no problem. We had only one problem , we were in the line so as everyone else waiting for payment, when our turn, he scanned all the items and then he had to look for items on the back room? And he asked us if we can wait so he can go other customers who is waiting in line for payment like us , unfortunately we refused I thought we had right to refuse it because we have little kids and we were waiting in lines like everyone else … and he went to look for items and it didn’t take time lol Please don’t ask me if I can wait so you can go to other customers who is waiting in lines because we wait in the lines as everyone else! This is weird things about Minnesota, if you try to skip customer then what is the waiting line for ? What is the customer waiting for ? How long customer how to wait ??

I usually have really good luck at this store. Really like the staff and in no way blame them. I bought a cement mixer, put it together and the drum was crooked and made some loud grinding sounds. Would it still work, maybe but I think it would strip the teeth eventually. i brought it back to exchange. They have none to exchange with So I returned. Was charged a 54 dollar restock fee. The clerk was very polite and said he did not realize it was on there. They tried for a while to give me the cash back for it. After a bit they gave me a corporate number to call and after 10 minutes talked to someone in corporate. She said they have a mandatory restock fee on larger items. As in even after wasting hours putting it together to find out it was bent and defective. (Bearing was crooked) I am still supposed to pay a 20% restock fee. I was surprised and told her it was defective. She said sorry thats how it is. I told her I will use my 54 dollar gift card to buy some things and will never be back. What a shady policy, I would never buy from Anywhere that has hidden fees in the small print. Thats what I get for trusting reviews.

I guess they have given me nearly 10 tape measures as free gifts, and they are quality tape measures. Their products are reasonably priced and decent quality. They seem to be busy, so some waits for checkout. Staff could be more helpful, as they were during their opening days. They want you to sign up to get mailers, and most of the time you'll get 20% of with a coupon. I don't love them, but I go there, and their website does a good job of showing you what they have. Worth checking out, though parking sucks.

Went into St Cloud store to purchase a 46 inch toolbox that was on sale at the time. After spending about 45 minutes waiting to get some help i finally got to talk to an employee. He said he had to check in the back for inventory. About 15 minutes later he came back and was going to help another customer so I stepped in and

Ok the boyfriend asked me to pick up a magnet. Went in Harbor Frieght. Going up and down the isles I wondered if anyone else worked there. Now I've looked I thought everywhere! Still no one but the cashier. So I got in line to ask him where the magnets are. He pointed towards where they were. But I had to go get a cart and load it myself. You're on you're own if you go there
