Be sure to check your charge before you leave the store! Today I went to the store and i give the casher 20 dollars and she gave me 5 dollars back. I'm in the middle of the street realizing thats not the right amount that she should've gave me because the things I bought were only 4 dollars, anyways I go back they made me wait for 30 mins just to count the money and then I told her I'm in a hurry and they were like "she is almost do" doing what ? And then they said they had to check the cams and stuff so I just left.

Went here tonight to buy pull ups and wipes for my granddaughter and wipes said they were $5.00 but the casher insisted they were $6.80 plus the tax 7.85 a manager was call and the management didn't even want to talk to me I had to ask her to directly speak to me. Asked her to please confirm the price and she node her head as if she was going to check and she never came back I was removed from the line and I had to go take a picture of the item and then go back to the line. No one cared or apologize spent almost $40 there wasn't greated or treated with any dignity. I will never return to this family dollar.

I took a friend there to get a new phone. The cashier rang up a $30 phone CARD. My friend said, NO, he wanted the PHONE. AND THEY WOULD NOT/COULD NOT REFUND HIM THE $30, saying it would show up as a loss in the register because of some third party thing. The phone card doesn't work with the phone he got, so he just left, furious, not wanting to go all violent on them. Then I tried CALLING them about this, and the phone rings, then I get a click. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS YOU RUNNIING? WE'RE NEVER GOIING BACK TO YOU. The one star is only because you don't have any NEGATIVE stars!

When it's open it's cool when it's not it's inconvenient. They should've left that family dollar on the corner of Dewey and Driving park right where it was that was the best one for this area

Want to go quick and cheap shopping? Family Dollar is the place for the people like you. This location of Family Dollar is in a very convenient environment. Not just that, the workers and employees inside the store is so humble and friendly. Really enjoyed my time there. Just looking around the vast amount of products, varying from mere chocolates and cup noodles all the way to kitchenware and clothings. And another very helpful and convenient thing is that these items are so cheap. Unlike many other stores. In the end, I would like to conclude this review with a huge thumbs up and a 4 out of 5 stars. And I suggest this store for a person who is going cheap with everyday items. Thank you.

Horrible customer service!!! ONLY store I ever went to where they make you leave your purse with the cashier, Seriously! The entire side of the building is boards instead of windows yet you want my purse? I was told I can take my wallet, check book, etc out but my purse had to stay in the front per store policy! My purse is small, it wasn't a big huge bag, a bookbag, but a small purse! I asked for cooperates number and was told Google it as both females working didn't know it. An elderly lady came in after me walking with a cane and they told her leave her purse with them, she decided to leave in her car! You don't trust customers to shop with their purse? I don't trust your cashiers to have my purse either!!!

I got a few odds and ends here. Wasn't overly impressed with the staff. Had I not needed to get some basic items in a small window of time I had I most definitely would have gone to another store. My reason for 2 stars is bcuz I thought the store was well stocked and clean. I believe it just opened within the last 10 -12 months.

Only in the ghetto do the cashiers never greet you, don't offer a bag & then throws you a bag expecting you to bag your own items. Let's not forget the eye rolls & sucking of teeth when you request them to bag & finish THEIR job !

terrible customer service. cashiers are very rude. i've maybe dealt with one that didn't have a sour attitude. shelves are always empty, and everything is a mess. if there is a line to the back the workers continue to do other tasks, and often times are on their phones. cashiers use their phones in between customers which slows down the line. unprofessional. a 5 minute trip is usually turned into 20 minutes and 8/10 times i have a problem at the register. i'd rather make the trip to buffalo road.

The cashier was talking very loudly that my experience was awful to be honest. When I walked in not one associate welcomed me to family Dollar instead the cashier was threatening the other one, although playful it was loud and inappropriate for a place of business. However, a young lady that seemed to be the Manager finally said to her that she was being too loud and unprofessional while customers were present. It was after 20 minutes into my experience but she did quiet down. Finally, the store was nice and clean, I will visit again however there should be a little professional development training for the staff.

The Staff is rude and have horrible attitudes and when I went in the store they had meat sitting out on a rolly cart just going bad with chemical spray cleaners right next to it the meat shouldn't have been out of the cooler instead of sitting out at room temps the store is always a mess shelves empty you can forget about asking any questions about anything related to the store because they haven't got a clue because their in there phones and chatting it up amongst themselves. Also they are very rude to customers no matter how or what you ask if them this store should be shut down or hire all new staff who have better attitudes and energy I hate having to go in this store for anything!!!!

Some rude staff- not all, messy store. The manager was OK. They're enforcing a "no bags allowed in store" policy now. I get it, people are shoplifting a lot, especially in these areas, but there's a way to do things. You don't just rudely bark at random customers to leave their grocery bag up front. "Where to leave it?" No explanation. "Just leave it!" Lol. So I'm being singled out as a thief in this store now? Great. Have a designated shelf for bags, a large "No bags allowed" sign at the entrance, and politely, consistently inform customers.

Staff is very rude to customers that are homeless or don't dress a certain way don't treat people a certain way because the way they look or idolize them as a theft because of their clothes . If you are a cashier you should be able to help them in a nice way and not have a attitude because how they are dressed and have some people dont know the store and staff should be able to help in a nice way without an attitude
