Fire alarm went off twice at 2am the 1st night. We had to open the window and turn off the air because something in the a/c made us cough. There was a loud group here the 2nd night and they woke us up at 7am which the front desk seemed nonchalant about when we asked about quiet hours. There's only one ice machine and they ran out before our long drive home. They certainly made an impression 😄

The staff was very nice. Except for the manager. The hotel had the carpets cleaned the day we were out of the motel. When we came back we found are suitcases had been ransacked and money was stolen. The manager told us it was our fault for leaving money in the room and to prove it wasn’t someone connected to the hotel we could watch them clean the next day. Not a satisfactory response. We will not be going back to this hotel.

Stayed here Thursday until Saturday. Not much of anything great. Breakfast needs a look at. Oatmeal was so watery, it was like a soup. No yogurts, fruits, cream cheese, waffles, barely anything. The room was not cleaned well. Hair was in the shower, the towels had stains. I requested for housekeeping service and they said they will not clean my room since I’m only there for 2 nights and 3 days total. What hotel doesn’t give housekeeping services?? No wonder the room is dirty. Hotel is rundown, rather spend my money down the street at a holiday inn because this hotel does not live up to Marriott Standards.

The staff is seriously the nicest staff I've dealt with at a hotel. They have superior customer service. Room are clean and it very convenient to I80 but no road noise. Highly recommended. I have an executive king (w sofa sleeper) for reference to the photos, nice large desk area, 2 TVs $143 per night! Very reasonable. First hotel I've stayed at who didn't downgrade their customer service (and I travel a LOT across the US). *Obviously my blanket on the bed lol

The hotel is about 1.5 hours drive from SFO and next to a big mall. The staff are nice and the room is big and clean. However the door is a bit tight and need to push very hard to open. Also the door is not always working. Sometimes, need to touch multiple times to open. The shower seems not enough water pressure. Breakfasts was normal and don't expect too much.

Staff are friendly, no complaints there. Rooms are nice and clean but you can hear everything that happens in the hallways, even if you’re isolated at the very end. Loudest hotel I have ever been in. The parking fee is ridiculous, I wish they would just increase the overall price and am regretting choosing Marriott as they seem to be adding parking fees to most of their hotels. The continental breakfast here is disappointing to say the least. You have cereal, hot cereal, dry eggs, pork sausage, and toast. That’s it. Would recommend you stay away, not worth the price.

Room as as expected- clean and quiet. A couple of items were disappointing.... 1. The breakfast was not very good. The eggs were scrambled but dried out and inedible. The sausages were grey -- didn't try them. Otherwise, it was the usual breads and cereals but no selection of yogurts, etc. So all a bit limited. 2. This is a first -- there was a $12 charge for parking, which I have never seen before in my stays at hotel properties outside of major city centers. Really got nothing for the $12 either. No valet, no gated security, no parking lot supervision. Felt like a junk fee and at only $12, didn't seem that it was worth the annoyance it caused to customers.

The check-in clerk when I called said they were pet friendly, and that is why we booked. When we checked in the desk clerk was very pleasant and understood our needs. There was no issue with our furry family certified support member until we came to get our breakfast. There was only a couple of people eating and we brought our dog in his support stroller to eat before leaving for the day. After we started getting our food, the young man at the desk came over to ask about our dog. Then he saw the support services vest and said okay you're fine. The some more folks came into the food area with children running all over the area. This alerted our dog to warn us as a child came running toward us. Our dog alerted us with a few barks and then the young man desk clerk came over quickly and told us we were not allowed to stay because of the barks. Yet, he never said anything to parents of the children that were being unruly and running all around the lobby and food area! The Marriott company, whom I used to have respect for their compassion with guests that have disabilities, I no longer have! There needs to be some major changes with certain staff members that are not knowledgeable enough and they need to go do some better training! This location needs some serious internal look by Marriotts upper management for the improper actions by this one desk clerk!

We stayed there 7 days total! Staff & manager Alex were very nice, but their communication with each other was not professional! We had asked 4 times to clean our room, we would leave at 9am to our conference & return by 3pm to our room not cleaned. The cleaning staff works from 9-5pm. Our room never was cleaned for the 7 days we stayed! Towels given to me were pulled from a laundry bucket, not sure if they were cleaned. $12 a day for parking, was never charged for parking before. We have another Church Conference in 2026, we will not be staying here! Great location, but I feel the manager & staff needs to communicate & work together! Blaming each other & pointing fingers will not give satisfactory feedback to your customers. Cleanness is essentially to any hotel stay!!

My friends and I stayed here over the weekend & was woken up by some noise outside our window. We called the front desk lady (Kaeleen) & she reassured us that everything was fine, it was guests returning from an event & it would be quiet soon. She handed it & we went right back to sleep. We did come down to get toilet paper, towels & shampoo due to no room service, but Kaeleen took care of everything. She is very attentive to the guest's requests. We had to check out early morning & she was getting breakfast set-up & offered us bananas & muffins & other little snacks which was extremely thoughtful bc it was too early for breakfast at that time. Thank you Kaeleen♡ When we do come back to Vacaville we will definitely be staying at the Fairfield Inn. Yayyy Marriott

I needed a room for day use. I asked the hotel if they offered that and they let me know that they don’t but that I can go through dayuse.com to book the room. So I book the room through this third party company that they recommended. I get a confirmation from dayuse.com that my reservation is complete and I can check in. I arrive at the hotel at 11am and they inform me they are booked and can’t honor the request. And that I should have called before arriving. Nowhere was I ever instructed to do this. I had a business meeting nearby and had to leave my family in the lobby for two hours until I had finished. Yes this may be dayuse.com ‘s fault but if Marriott continues to partner with them then they are also at fault.

I stayed here for three nights, and while the location was a highlight, the overall experience left much to be desired. The hotel’s proximity to shops and restaurants was convenient, though accessing them required crossing a highway overpass, which wasn’t ideal but manageable. Unfortunately, the positives end there. I booked through Costco Travel and was surprised at check-in to learn about a $12 per night parking fee. This fee felt exorbitant, especially since the parking lot lacked any visible security measures to justify it. The hotel is tucked away, not easily noticeable from the road, so the charge seemed unnecessary. The front desk staff, while friendly, attributed the fee to the "fine print" in my booking. However, I thoroughly reviewed my Costco Travel itinerary and booking documents and found no mention of this fee. Instead, the charge was quietly added to my credit card as part of an incidental fee after checkout, with no hold or notification during my stay. Housekeeping was another disappointment. The hotel’s policy is to clean rooms only once during a stay, but I never received this service. On the second day, I encountered a housekeeping staff member and, despite a language barrier, gestured that I needed my room cleaned. She nodded, but when I returned, the room was untouched—no fresh sheets or towels. For a hotel charging $140 per night, I expected more proactive service without having to request it repeatedly. The laundry facilities were inconvenient, located off-site at a sister hotel across the parking lot. Guests must obtain a key card from the sister hotel’s front desk and bring quarters for the machines. Fortunately, the front desk keeps change on hand, as few people carry quarters nowadays. I was also unexpectedly enrolled in the Marriott Bonvoy program without my consent. I clearly declined this option at check-in, so it was frustrating to discover I’d been signed up anyway. Breakfast was underwhelming. The highlight was a user-friendly Belgian waffle maker, but the rest of the offerings were lackluster. The breakfast area was cramped, with only about 15 seats for the 20–25 guests present each morning during my stay. The tightly packed seating, combined with paper plates and plastic utensils, felt out of place for a hotel of this caliber. While the location is a plus and the staff were courteous, the hidden fees, lack of housekeeping, and subpar amenities made this stay disappointing. I’d hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Overall, our stay at the Fairfield Inn was decent—and a double win because we were able to vacation comfortably with our small dogs. Dominique at the front desk was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to get us a room near an exit door, which made taking the pups out so much easier. We stayed in a two queen bed room. It was a bit on the smaller side and slightly cramped, but it worked for what we needed. The setup was interesting—the bathroom itself was quite spacious, but the sink was located outside the bathroom and felt very small, which was a bit unusual. A few light fixtures weren’t working, but the AC unit worked well and kept the room comfortable. We appreciated not being disturbed by housekeeping, which allowed for a calm and relaxing environment. If you’re looking for something more upscale, this isn’t quite the place—but it’s a perfectly manageable and pet-friendly stay. Plus, being so close to the premium outlets, restaurants, and entertainment made it super convenient for a fun getaway.

I checked in online, but the check-in process at the front desk was still too long, with too many questions, including "what is the purpose of your visit?" The front desk rep said the computer forced him to ask this, but it's still unpleasant. I don't have to explain why I am at a hotel. Also, the floor 3 hallway smelled funny. And the hotel CHARGES $12 a night for parking. Why is this not included in the room price? Other than these things, everything was fine.

Checked in around midnight with Katrina (Night Auditor) which went <fairly> smoothly... I added fairly because I had called earlier in the day and asked for extra pillows ALONG WITH requesting them in the app, but my room had NOT been assigned, and I had to fetch the extra pillows from Katrina. Breakfast was appointed well, and (once again) I was taken care of by Katrina at the end of her shift. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Due to work trip, flying to a different states & cities depending on my work project, so my wife helped me to make reservation this hotel due to the tremendous Calif traffic, and she joined my trip, and she loved the excellent hotel location was convenience, saving time, and shopping; however, she complained that the hotel fridge wasn’t working, the hotels need to inspect and address those maintenance prob before their guests arrives as part of standard hotel operating procedures, ensuring clean, and safety. Due to time-consuming, my wife could not wait for their repairs b/c she had to email, do the conference call w/ her supervisor by 5 pm at room 302. Wish the hotel could clean their windows for guest satisfaction & signal high hygiene standards. Your hotel view was obstructed by the dirty window. With these inconveniences, checked in 12/01 & early checked-out 12/04. But when checked-out at 6:45 am, the woman at the hotel front desk was super nice, professional, and an efficient working style w/genuine smile.

This pet friendly hotel provides comfortable bedding. Exterior doors are locked and secured. Elevator requires a key card for access. Heating and air in the room worked just fine. Rooms were rather cheaper than most other Marriotts. The pet fee is rather high for the cost of their rooms at $100 per stay plus a "pet tax" and, an additional $12 for parking. The free breakfast took forever. They cooked 6 sausage patties at a time. After every 2-3 people, there would run out. Please bring slippers to wear around the room and some shoes to wear while showering because I have many issues with the cleanliness of room 314. **The biggest issue was the Aleve pill on the floor near the foot of our son's bed. Luckily my husband found it before our puppy or son did. Aleve is highly toxic for dogs.** **The fridge was not cleaned out prior to our stay. There was chocolate milk and rotting food that smelled absolutely horrible.** **The toilet had stains as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.** **There were questionable stains on the walls.** **The bottom of the tub could use a good scrubbing. I would not let my son bathe or shower in it.** **Someone else's body hair was still in the tub. I do not think it had been cleaned prior to our stay.** **There is visible soap scum on the shower walls, around the spouts and the drains.** **A shower curtain ring was broken so the curtain wouldn't close completely.** **The top of the toilet tank, seat and lid needed to be wiped down.** **Not a big issue, but there were water stains on everything in the bathroom. The sinks, counter tops, faucets, floor...** Other than the bedding being changed (hopefully it was) and the garbage being dumped, I don't know if anything else was cleaned in room 314.

I usually stay at Fairfield inns... this one was way below standards. The halls smelled and the elevator smelled like the band or types to the elevators were burning. The service was good, I was charged parking but was never informed or did I see it when I booked online. Just seemed old, dingy and not my usual experience with this chair of hotels... I probably won't choose this hotel on my next visit to Vacaville. I will be coming out here bi-monthly and I was quite disappointed.

Our 1st in Vacaville, glad we chose Fairfield Inn. We were quite comfortable both nights. Rooms are good sized and clean. Liked that it had a fridge for my medicine & an iron & blow dryer. The only issue we had was that the toilet would keep making noise in room 207. Like it's filling up the tank, so my son would shit it off at night. Plz have a plumber look at that. Maybe the wallpaper in the restrooms might need to be replaced with just paint when you remodel. There was very friendly young lady when we checked in on 10/24 & there again 10/26 when we checked in. She goes above and beyond her job to make us feel welcome. Chit chats while helping. Loved your price special. Good for the money. Wish we would've had time to get into your indoor pool. Maybe next time Thank you
