On Monday, April 1st, my husband and I visited this store. There was only 1 lady checking everyone out, and she was doing the very best she could. The line was EXTREMELY long. Someone in line asked the woman if she could call for help which she did. She called the manager and he said he was busy right then but he would come out and help her shortly. He NEVER came. This is unacceptable! Customers are always first, and you would think a manager in retail would know that!! Then a lady comes from the end of the line, goes up to a customer checking out and says, I will give you cash money if you ring my stuff up with yours!! What is going on in this store?? Finally, after about 15 minutes a girl, not the manager, came out to help the older lady ring up customers. This was the worst visit EVER! Someone needs to have a chat with that manager!

Ok so normally I wouldn't think of reviewing a dollar store. But this morning I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanest, most organized, and friendly staffed Dollar Tree I have ever walked into in my life. And I have been shopping Dollar Tree since day one. This was my first visit to the Coliseum Crossing Store so I stopped a passing CSR (Tanya) and ask if it was a newly opened store. No sir just a little remodeled. As I finished my shopping I'm still in such a good mood approaching the check which is also arranged much better than the normal layout for Dollar Tree. And the CSR Jamira also greets me pleasantly ask if there will be anything else I want to add and whether I wish to keep the soda 12 pack box I had used to carry my items after forgetting to grab a basket on the way into the store. I have found my favorite Dollar Tree! And I will return.

Been coming here since I was 14 I am 25 , progressively getting worse. I came today and noticed they re did the store GREAT but where’s the staff? Only one person at the register always. Have to plan to spend 30 minutes at this store everytime I come because they never have enough people. Fix it!

I asked to use the bathroom and the lady manager was rude and dismissive. I used to work for Dollar Tree in Norfolk and we always allowed customers to use the restroom. She said they don’t have a bathroom for customers only the employees. This is the first Dollar .25 tree that has done this. When did this establishment stop allowing customers to use the bathroom.🚽

Who doesn’t love Dollar Tree really! They vary wildly from store to store and you never know which one has what so just go to them all. I wish my area had a DT with the Dollar Plus section because even at $3-$5 that’s still a really good deal! Be prepared for tons of boxes everywhere because they are forever stocking items and if you see something you like or want BUY IT then (maybe even a couple) because chances are good it won’t still be there later. Personally I love finding and going to new store locations and if I don’t like one I just don’t go back. Any specific concerns or issues I’d put in a review for that specific store.

This is a large and very centrally located dollar tree. This location is efficient at keeping the store well stocked with a very large variety of items. Robert, one of the mangers, is always extremely friendly and joyful. The other cashiers are unfortunately often pretty snippy, slow, and lack grace for older customers. More often than not when I come in here, the checkout line can be backed up and slow moving, with a poor attitude in the air from a variety of the cashiers.

The store was a mess, too many employees up front n store looks terrible. Roltainers down the aisle just sitting there, boxes on the floor. The flower rake was blocking bathrooms for customers. When comin out the bathroom an employee gave me a look on why I was in there. No customer service at all. It’s not the same since new management..

I typically come to Dollar Tree for standard stuff. Including books. I do find the rare gem on occasion. But this time when I went to the store the books were moved. Behind a wide pole that I couldn't get close enough to get a book. Who in the sam ham thought of this??? I know management has this concept of rearranging the store for the season and what not but really, to put the books in a location nobody can reach? Also I bought some deodorant a name brand and it did NOTHING to prevent any odor. Thank God I was home working in my yard.

The store on Nickerson in Hampton VA is a very clean and organized store. Store manager helped me find the picture frames I needed for a wedding. Those I didn't need, returned with a smile. Great store.

Every time I go into Dollar Tree, the experience is disappointing. The workers are rude and seem like they don’t want to help anyone. The aisles are always blocked with inventory carts, making it hard to get through, and the store is constantly messy. It really feels like no one cares about keeping the place clean or treating customers with respect.

Went today and there was a long line. The manager made a simple request to fill a balloon to the associate and he said no, the manager asked a few more times politely and professionally and the associate (young male) just said no and another my problem. They need to hire more professional associates this guy's got to go. Who tells a manager no and starts a loud unnecessary argument in front of over 10 waiting customers in line

This is a very large Dollar Tree. It literally seems to have everything. There are a lot of food and snack choices. There are a lot of drink options. There are a lot of craft options. There are a lot of plastic containers and container options. There are a lot of baby care items. There are a lot of make-up and femine care items. There are a lot of personal hygiene options. The staff are all friendly and helpful. It was one of the cleanest dollar trees that I have been in.

This rating is about manager, Brittany and how exceptional she is as a member of leadership at Dollar Tree. I happened to be in line as Brittany had an interaction with an unnecessarily disgruntle and belligerent customer. She tactfully and professionally handled that situation. When it was my turn at the register, she was so personably nice, patient and friendly.. Actually, she showed the same demeanor with every single customer that she interacted with. Demonstrating what an outstanding customer-centric shopping experience truly means. Kudos to Dollar Tree for having Brittany on the management team! Dealing with the public is difficult but she conquered that challenge and exceeded my expectations incredibly well. Thanks Brittany!!! You rock!! Deserve five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and a bonus 😍!

Stopped in this morning & met the nicest cashier. She was an absolute delight. Was pretty busy & she was the only one ringing people up. She told me to get out of this heat & stay cool. Super sweet lady. Wished I'd gotten her name. It was before 11:30 am! Store had lots of stuff out & needed to be put out... Very nice location. Love that it's next door to a ROSS! A bonus for me 🩷🙌 Did have a little trouble finding parking.
