This location has to be the worst wholesale store I have ever shopped at. This was my first time at the location and not only did I notice that NONE of the prices were competitive compared to other wholesale stores but almost EVERYTHING food wise I purchased was either covered with mold or spoiled. I have already returned the bad ground beef which looked good in the pack but was completely brown in the middle when I went to individually package it. Also I just went to grab an orange to eat and it is completely covered with mold. This stores general manager really needs to take a look at their processes because this seems to be a management issue. There’s no way the employees are getting away with leaving meat out too long or putting molded food on the shelf with proper oversight. My sister warned me about this place I guess I had to see it for myself.

When we joined we were supposed to get 2 free items. Ordered online and said to pickup in store. When I got there only one was available and they couldn’t refund or replace with a different flavor of muffin. Even the manager in Hampton said he couldn’t do that! Tried going today and find prices higher than Costco for about 90% of things I was interested in. Will be canceling this membership

Store neat and clean Displays and shelves neat Only criticism is some items are hard to locate. * Maybe the location of item could included on coupon ex: in frozen or meat or deli...etc..I have found employees don't know and not many available on floor to ask. I recently had the pleasure of shopping at BJ's in Hampton, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience, thanks to the incredible customer service provided by a lovely lady. She not only ensured that we had everything we needed but went the extra mile by carefully packing our car to prevent any damage to our groceries. She even noticed our bread and made sure it wasn't squished during packing. Additionally, when she noticed a leaking drink package, she promptly replaced it without hesitation. I've done a lot of grocery pick-ups in the past, but this one was, without a doubt, the best. The exceptional service we received made our shopping trip a breeze and left us thoroughly impressed. Kudos to the staff at BJ's in Hampton for their dedication to customer satisfaction.

I went shopping and had been back and forth across the store for over an hour pushing a heavy cart and I was tired (I’m in my 70s)! When I got to the registers, KaylaWi, cashier408236, register 6, helped me unload my card; she emptied the heavier items for me. She was really kind and helpful and she was a great cashier! Thanks 💕

Been waiting for an hour for my pickup order. Everyone received theirs and left. First timer here, not impressed. Peeved. Young, small statured man blocked the only lane left with his cart. He did not return as promised to bring my order. If not for Koyeh (sp?) to grab my order I would have had a longer wait.

Ordered online drove a hour to get the items I needed. Was accused of stealing while having my receipt in my hands, no manager was even in the store. I was so humiliated and I ask for a manager to call me and it's been two weeks. I been a member of Bjs for years never had a experience like this

Cashier #353746 at the customer service desk on 7/17/24 was the absolute rudest and unprofessional woman I've met in retail. I wanted to cancel my membership due to a misunderstanding. She said you people always want something for free?! Excuse me. I don't want anything for free. I have an Sam's Club membership and don't need this one either. I will never come back or send my family to this company after this treatment. Don't tell me where and how to spend my money. Also she was on her personal phone when I came up and wouldn't hang up the call.

With both Boys and a strict budget BJ's is one of my favorite places to shop. I love the membership deals, the gas station is on site and always less than most places, and I am a huge fan of the App and the coupons that I can just click on and if and when I purchase I am always saving. The selections of groceries and all of the other products are always great if you ask me. After having memberships at the other popular club stores I have found BJ's to be the most economical for my family.

My favorite find here are these Lacey’s dark chocolate crisps I cannot put them down. I have also found a ton of great deals such as you can find at Costco or Sams Club but this is close and convenient with IMO a lot more options than other places.

Their bakery is the worst! I ordered a cake for my family reunion and none of the instructions were followed. I asked for a cake with sea blue icing and coral writing. They told me they could do teal blue and pink writing/trimming. Instead I received a plain cake with orange trimming and messy blue writing. No decorations or flowers. Usually decorators make the cake pop with embellishments. Not here.

I have gone twice for propane and not only have I have to wait for the employees to finish their weekend conversation. I don't believe that BJs is losing money by having a person at all times at the counter for tire questions, propane service, etc. I will not be renewing g my membership if this is the kind of service that BJs offers. I went again to get my propane tanks filled and again no service. So I went to talk to one of the employees standing behind the Supervisor desk and the only thing she did was smile make excuses and kept saying Humm, Humm, so I just walked away. No more I will not going to renew my membership.

Went to get my propane tank refilled. Stood in the tire center for more than 30 minutes. Nobody even came to the register to see what help I needed. Ive been a member for several years. I love the store. But my Wife also had a horrible experience with the Tire Center. NEVER AGAIN! Ridiculous

You'd think that if you had to pay for a membership to shop at a store, they'd give a damn about the people that work and shop there. The place is consistently understaffed, they would rather use robots than pay real people. The air pump at the gas station has been broken for months. They rarely run carts back in, making the parking lot dangerous, but this is all the fault of the store management. Sunday morning, before church folks get out and just after the store opens, carts are overflowing in EVERY cart corral. As seen in my pic. Maybe if they employed enough people and paid them a fair wage, and cared just a little bit, they wouldn't have these issues. Save your money, it's probably worth it to go to Costco instead.
