I just had service for my vehicle at this business. I booked with Butch and asked that bugs be removed as I just returned from a road trip. When I arrived for pick up it was clear that this was not done. I asked to speak to Butch. He was not there. I called him on the phone and left a vm. The desk clerk went and got the attendant who washed my car (Alex). Alex said the spots were sap, which clearly was not, as bugs were on the front of the vehicle, license plate, and windshield. Alex started speaking condescendingly telling me “In the future I need to book a full detail “. I indicated that I spoke with Butch and he knows what service I requested. I then was able to get Butch on the phone, I explained my concerns. I also said I had been there before and had no concerns before, including a $200+ Service a few weeks ago. He said that the attendant that normally works on my car was stuck in Ecuador because she did not get the right papers before she left the US. I told him that was unfortunate but I wanted my car serviced as promised. After going back and forth for over 30 minutes, and Butch speaking to the desk clerk and attendant, I spoke to Butch again who claimed that it was not going to be perfect. He said he was in Vienna and would be there in 15 minutes. I told him I had waited long enough for my vehicle and could not continue to wait. I indicated that would not come back to this company again. I paid and left. If I could give this place a 0 I would.

The team did a great job cleaning my car, especially a spot cleaning where I spilled a drink. It was easy to set an appointment, located off the main drag in Falls Church, and the owner followed up to make sure everything went well. I would recommend using this company for a car detail.

City Auto has been the only place I’ve taken my car since I moved to Virginia 3 years ago (I haven’t been able to find a reliable place) and I was not disappointed! The staff is very responsive and they squeezed me in on a super short notice! I only had to wait about 45 minutes and I was astonished at how clean my car was - it looked brand new when I picked it up! The prices are also very reasonable for the area. Highly, highly recommend!

I found this place via some Google searches, which is funny because they are just down the street in the Little City. I wanted my daughter's car thoroughly cleaned/detailed before she headed to college. The detailing ninjas at City Auto Detailing went to town, and turned her two year-old vehicle into a brand new, showroom ready car. I was shocked. It had not been that clean since the day we drove it off the lot. Next, my son's car, then me. Fantastic job, delivered on time at agreed-upon price.

I wish I had taken "before" photos, because the "after" results are stunning. My car, which was in awful, kid-trashed, trip-wrecked shape, came back to me looking better than the day I first drove it away from the dealer. The car gleams, the leather shines, and the ENGINE even sparkles! City Auto Detail did a phenomenal job and it was worth every penny (of the very reasonable price). I'm going to recommend City Detail to literally anyone who will listen. It's great to feel real joy getting into my car again.

WOW! These people got my car looking better than it did the day I bought it. In addition to regular wear and tear on the interior, my car had a ton of pet hair embedded in all the nooks and crannies which they made disappear. I can’t believe how good my car looks. In addition to the quality of the work being exceptional, the staff was friendly and professional, the work was done in a timely manner and the pricing was reasonable.

I’ve had my car for over thirteen years and have never had it professionally cleaned. I figured after all this time, I should finally get it done. I went to City Auto Detail and was left almost in tears by how beautiful my car looked!! The price is very fair for the area (not the cheapest, but far from the most expensive) and you absolutely get what you pay for. I dropped my car off in the morning and was able to pick it up the same day and the owner, Hamlet, was very communicative and professional. I cannot express how impressed I am with how my car came out of detailing. I have a 2004 Infiniti G35 Sedan that has never been fully detailed and it sits outside year-round. Recently it sat under a tree without being driven for over a year. I did my research online and ran across City Auto Detail. The owner personally reached out to me and assured me that he and his team could bring the exterior back to life. Honestly, I was skeptical, I even made a point to describe in detail the horrible shape that the car was in. The dirt that you see in the pictures was not superficial, this was baked into the paint! When I came to pick up the car, I was amazed at how well it looked. The car has not looked this good since I initially purchased it. I'll be taking my wife's car to City Auto Detail next, and I'll be posting those pictures as well. Butch and his team are first class.

I've been bringing my vehicle here exclusively for the past year, since I purchased it, and until this last visit, I've had consistently good experiences. I've trusted them with routine detailing and even had my vehicle clear coated here, which is why this situation was so disappointing. On my most recent visit, I paid extra for an interior and engine spiff up, but the interior was clearly not properly cleaned - surfaces were not properly wiped down and it appeared to have only been vacuumed. I also specifically asked that the inside of the hood be wiped due to salt buildup from recent snow and was told it would be taken care of. When I got home and opened the hood to check, the secondary hood safety latch was broken. This had never been an issue before and raises concern about potential damage while the vehicle was being handled. I reached out to Kian (owner/manager?) twice to ask whether they had any issues opening the hood, hoping to understand what happened and address a vehicle damage issue. Both messages were read, yet I never received a response. Mistakes happen, but when there is a possibility of expensive damage to a customer's vehicle - especially from a loyal, long-term customer - the lack of any response is highly disappointing and unprofessional. I was genuinely hoping for at least the common courtesy of a reply.
