I placed an online order and picked it up a week later after receiving 10 emails and text messages reminding me and then when I got there, it took 20 minutes to get the item pulled only to find out that since Bucheit took over from Orscheln‘s they had kept the price of the fish food, the same and cut the volume in half.

I needed some zip ties, they were well marked and right near the front which I appreciated. The service was helpful, and the lines were short.

Similar to a local hardware store in many ways. Prices are a little high compared to other box stores, but it's nearby, so good when I need something fast.

Super busy, after the fair alot of things were sold out. But I know they'll get restocked as soon as they can. As always, the cashier is friendly.

We come here all the time, and we always have pleasant interactions. This last time we went in, we were followed all over the store. We checked out, and as we were leaving a small woman with glasses stopped us and said we stole last time we were there and are no longer welcome in the store. We asked to speak with someone, we asked for proof.. She said she doesn't have to give us anything. She didn't get our names jothing... We are waiting for a manager to contact us. She said we stole antibiotics for our dog. I have the receipts still from that purchase. I have never been treated this way. And she tried to ban everyone that was with us, embarrassed me infront of my family memebers.. NOT OKAY.

Buchheit is always good. Reasonable prices on their feed and you can catch a good deal ever so often. I mean T-shirts for a dollar, can't beat that.

This is the only home/garden/farm store on the south side of Columbia. They could be killing it. But. They do not keep the shelves stocked and will not carry some of the most popular products. Just went for a selective herbicide and nope. None on the shelf. Really sad. Can’t wait until Ace Hardware comes to this side of town. Meanwhile headed north to Menards, Home Depot Lowes, Weatlakes etc just for the basics.

No one was available to help show me where to find certain products. Store was hard to navigate because of to much product staged in aisle ways. Found several items in wrong location and displaying price that didn't match the product. I pointed out that items on shelves didn't match label's/price tag to a worker. Thier response was that "you'll find that a lot around the store". I miss the old Orscheln's store.

Bhchheit's is always our goto for any farm supplies. They always have a good variety and rewards are very nice. Highly recommend this location.

Went to store this morning to purchase dog food. Rang up as $20.99 before tax. I told the cashier that shelf sticker showed $19.99. He said "well that's the price in system" (but didn't check shelf or call anyone to double check price). After paying, thinking perhaps I was incorrect, went to shelf, took a picture showing the dog food, with a shelf price of $19.99. Went back to cashier to show him the picture (which took at most 30 seconds). He told me he could refund the total amount and re-ring at correct price, but he needed to "check out the 3 people who are in line", and that "I'll need a receipt and a photo ID". LIKE I HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG! At that point, I asked to speak to manager, Cody, who was quite belligerent...telling me they have hundreds of price changes per day, etc. What poor customer service. No, I did not wait for a refund and re-ring. It was about customer service, the principle, not the money.

I went to the location for a 75% off sale. I am passing through the town on business. I had a VERY unplrasany experience. Not a single person spoke to me. The two cashiers both sized me up and continued their conversation. Within 2 minutes 3 white americans walked in and were greeted warmly and assisted with finding items. After the experience, I put back the items I thought to purchase and walked out the store. The same cashiers did the same sizing (looking up and down at me). STAY aware from this place us you are NOT white American. The experience was unsettling for me.

Dog wash needs work. Can you turn up the pressure or volume of water at the sprayer? A bit too warm. But good price. Convenient location. Thanks!

Wonderful General Store Hardware Store. However I was looking for some wood trim, shock they did not have. I was directed to another store where I could find it. The check out clerk was helpful.

This was my first visit to the store. I came in looking for a cowboy hat, but couldn’t find one in my size that I liked. Then I checked out the belts—they had a good selection of Carhartt belts, but none of the ones I liked had price tags, which was frustrating. In the shoe section, I found some styles I liked, but again, none in my size. I also tried on six different pairs of cowboy boots, but since I have wide feet, nothing fit well. I was also looking for a snap ring for a keychain. The website said they were out of stock, but I later stumbled upon the exact item in-store, which makes me question how accurate their online inventory is. Lastly, I picked up a can of pepper spray and a dog toy and went to check out. The cashier didn’t greet me when I came in and seemed a bit unfriendly. He asked if I was a member of their club; I said no, and he just kept ringing me up. When I asked how much it cost to join, he said it was free—so I asked him to pause so I could sign up and get credit for the purchase. I wish he had mentioned that earlier. Overall, the store has a good selection, but sizing issues, missing price tags, and underwhelming customer service made the experience less than ideal. In addition, I purchased the 1.5 OZ SABRE pepper gel but was charged for the 1.8 OZ. Good job Buchheit. Ya got me with the old “Bait-and-Switch”. See photo

Found what I was looking for with no difficulty. Prices are reasonable. Staff was easy to reach and offering to help me find what I was looking for. Very nice staff, quick at getting checked out. Will definitely be back. And that's how business is supposed to be. It's a shame Mid Mo. Legal Services couldn't out perform Buchheit. Lol

Folks are always friendly, helpful, and in a good mood. Pleasant shopping every time! Store is clean and items are rarely out of stock (far as I've experienced).
