I usually never leave reviews but I just wanted to say that I had a really good experience buying a car from Mel. I've bought a car from them before, a Mitsubishi Lancer 10 years ago and it was a good little car that lasted several years with zero issues. I just bought a Toyota Sienna from them today and I don't regret choosing them again at all. The customer service is great, everyone is incredibly friendly. The van looks and runs great.

Had a fabulous experience! Tareq was very easy to buy a car from. I trusted him 100% to find me the perfect suv , and he did just that! Very clear communication, very honest and most of all I didn’t have to haggle the price like you do in many dealerships where they require you to talk to the finance manager and the sales manager etc. . I never once felt high pressure to purchase. Highly recommend this car dealership , and especially Tareq! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with me. I've used them for my last two cars. They've been great and I continue to recommend them. Most of the dealerships in this town are terrible nowadays. But Ashland is good. They do have a small selection but I'm sure you can tell them what you're looking for and they'll find it. Correction: I'm now using them for my THIRD car transaction.

I walked in not sure of what I should buy; they were honest in giving us advice. We checked about three cars and were able to buy one, 2014 Honda CRV. This is an AMAZING DEALERSHIP!! No other words can describe the salesmen and cars at Ashland Auto Sales. My stepson looked for over 3 years for the perfect car of his dreams and found it at Ashland! From the moment we stepped into the office and spoke with Mel, we knew he was a man of integrity and honest. Ashland Auto Sales provided the best vehicle purchase experience I've ever had. Not only did they offer me an unbelievable deal, but the salesman, Ahmad, was also one of the nicest individuals I've ever met. He was honest, quick to respond, and an absolute delight to be around. 10/10 experience – I will definitely stop by to say hi next time I'm in the area. One thing I really liked was how they go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. When you reach out about a vehicle, they test drive it multiple times to ensure everything is in perfect working order. After I expressed interest in their 2001 Porsche Boxster, Ahmad test drove it and discovered it needed a new starter, which they replaced before I even arrived! Let me get one good thing out of the way first, these people are very nice, and pleasant to speak with and work with on buying these cars, but you must remember no car salesman is your friend. This place sells USED cars imported from all around the world and sold at auctions majority of the time bought on a salvage title then driven to Ashland auto sales. They then sell these vehicles at new vehicle prices and basically flipping these cars. Get the vin from their website and google it and see how much they bought it for at the auction and what kind of damage was done. This dealership doesn’t hide anything from you everything you need information wise is found on their website or in person. My big issue here is that they will lie to your face and say all titles are clean. Once you get to sit down and start to sign the title you then hear them mumble “oh this one is a prior salvage title my apologies I didn’t see that” by this time you are most likely still going to sign because the paperwork was just done and you’re in love with this car. Now that this part is out of the way this what I’ve dealt with since June. In June I came in to look at a truck for sale. When test driving I looked under the truck, looked under the hood, looked at the interior, and everything looked good. It’s a 2014 truck so I expected some rust and they didn’t hide the visible rust at all. But when looking at it in person the rust is minimal. I purchased this truck with the understanding there was “minimal rust” and no issues. Okay cool. Since this day I’ve spent $7,400 on repairs because these people sprayed bed liner under the entire truck to make it look rust free when it’s not. Everything is eroded and dry rotted, and absolutely destroyed because of this. They sprayed black bed liner on an already rusted truck when my mechanic took off this bed liner to help the frame of the truck this only cracked off and ruined more of the frame. Not only that but I was told they had done everything from an oil change, to a tune up, to checking the ball joints and what have you. This is completely false. 2 weeks after owning the truck my check engine light started flashing because 3 cylinders were misfiring. I had to go get a tune up 2 weeks after buying this vehicle off the lot when they claim to have mechanics on site who already did this. That alone was $1,300. I was thinking it’s no big deal it was close to 98,000 miles they must of forgot. A few weeks later I had to get brand new tires put on because the ones left on there were almost so worn you could see the wire. That was $,1,400. On top of that they tell me all 4 ball joints are bad and all control arms are too rusted to drive on. $2,400 there too. Mind you this is all within 30 days of owning this vehicle. I fixed the issues. And went on about my life. 3 months go by and I’m hearing wind and highway noise inside my vehicle. I take it into my mechanic and have him look at all my windows. Well would you have guessed, my windshield was replaced by these people and they decided instead of doing what you’re supposed to do they slapped on my windshield by using silicon. Which I’d you didn’t know deteriorates rapidly when In contact with the outdoor weather. I was literally 1 week away from my freaking windshield falling in on me. That was $300 to replaced and reseal. I had my mechanic take off the bed and take pictures of the body of the truck with no bed liner sprayed on it and decided to share them. My truck is now up for sale and this can become someone else’s issue. Overall. I knew I was gonna spend some money to fix the minimal viable rust. The bed liner under the body made it hard to tell anything was rusted and I thought it was all new. I was told it was all good to go. I was told tires were just rotated and put on. I was told a tune up was done. I was told everything was looked over and passed inspection. Theirs is no world that we live in where a windshield put in with silicon would pass inspection. Idk who is doing their inspections but they are all false. Do not buy from here.

Went to look at a vehicle we saw on Facebook for our 16 year old son, ended up leaving with something else we found on their lot. It's an older Mazda CX-5 with minor cosmetic imperfections and high miles, but it runs great. We purchased in early October 2025. Since then it's taken trips all over Mid-Mo, to St Louis and back a few times, and is used locally daily. No problems at all, and the kiddo loves it. Mel and the other guys we spoke with were very friendly and helpful.

I got the 2010 Toyota Corolla S.. they have very good cars, I love how they have 4 mechanics and a shop so they properly perform maintenance on their vehicles. The car was a bit pricey for the value, but I understand that they put a bunch of money into their vehicles so it's understandable. They're easy to work with. Mel was a cool guy. I wanted a reliable vehicle. And that is what I got.
