Went through the car wash and my car came out visibly dirty on side panels and rear window. The vacuums were very weak.

Zips does a pretty decent car wash for just Zipping through the mechanical quick fix wash. Plus, they just upgraded and revamped All of their chemicals and added more cleaning features and equipment and it does a really awesome job for a 5 minute drive thru car wash. Would definitely recommend trying it out. I pay $35 for their unlimited car washes membership which allows usage of their vacuum cleaner equipment added into the fee. Plus, it's the only car wash I've ever seen or known of that offers cleaning and drying rags along with wipes and cleaners for your convenience and free of charge just as long as you return all borrowed supplies and towels back to the outdoor tables. How cool is that?!👍👍☺️☺️😘😘

Robert, the attendant near the entrance (where the scanner is, the touch screen entrance definitely needs to be fixed so they don't have to always tap it for the members just to get scanned in) of the car wash was really friendly. Was asked to submit a google review "to get corporate off them" (which was a little awkward and seemed like not too professional) via a survey card with QR code. Friendly staff, car wash amenities (within the car wash) just need more consistent maintenance especially the air dry part at the very end for less to no wiping after the wash.

This place has gone DOWNHILL. I feel bad for the employees who have to work for a company that refuses to take care of its product. Staff is great, Wash quality is garbage. Stuff doesn't work, held up with zip ties?? Do you guys even have a maintenance team??

Car wash does a decent job (meh). They tend to have parts out of order and the brushes might knock you side view mirrors crooked. Vacuums work well most of the time. Staff can be lazy and not even give your car a decent hand spray before going through. I’ll be canceling soon as my offer has expired and the prices went to almost $30 per month. Not much has changed. Stayed cause they offered a discount to $15 a month for 3 months. Waiting on a closer car wash to be built. Then I’ll switch.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I came in from the south on Webb Road, entered the car wash paid my $24. The left side brushes didn’t work in the car wash and then I come out to vacuum and there’s a sign in the vacuum area that says the vacuums are out of service (which you can’t see when you enter the location from the south. When I questioned the young man about it, he called me an asshole. I informed him that he should tell people that the Brushes in the car wash don’t work, And the vacuums are out of service BEFORE they pay their money, NOT after. I will never go to another ZIPS. This is the last time and the third bad experience I’ve had at three different locations

Avoid this location. Run down and barely functional. Some brushes way out of adjustment and barely cleaned the car at all.

Equipment not all in working order. One major brush had not worked for months. They quit pre-spraying the car leaving stuck on bugs and gunk. Never could get their small air hoses to work and they finally took them out. Lately seems like the dryer is not working as in the past. They even have parts zip tied on. We are thinking about changing to another company. We stayed with them when the new washers came to town hoping they would step up their game but it has gotten worse.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Zips Car Wash on N. Webb Road. During my visit on June 6th, 2024, the automatic car wash knocked off my side mirror and damaged my antenna on my Mother-n -laws car. When I brought this issue to the attention of the staff, they refused to take responsibility or offer any compensation for the damage caused. As a customer, I expect a car wash to handle my vehicle with care. Instead, I am now left with repair costs due to their negligence. This experience has not only been frustrating but also costly. I strongly advise others to avoid this place to prevent similar incidents from happening to them.

They are never open. I pay for the membership and I have to go to club car wash because they always have issues at this location. The car wash or vacuum doesn’t work half the time when they are actually open.

To be completely honest I have a lot of problems with this car wash; membership not reading, randomly closed sometimes during business hours, car not being entirely clean afterward, vacuums not working sometimes, etc… but this review is for the guy that works there with the goatee. He is awesome. He is the only employee there that consistently uses the spray gun at the beginning and he hits every bit of my car before I actually pull in. Wish all of their employees were like him.

My car was still dirty, bugs on the window. Equipment need to be updated. 20$ for a car wash, that didn't do their job

Came in and got the top wash on December 19, 2021. Soon as I came out, I noticed these swirl marks on my hood. Attendant acknowledged those weren’t there before (obviously) And had me fill out a complaint form. Also told me I needed to get three quotes before they would reimburse me. I got the quotes. Nobody ever reached out to me, and I’ve reached out to this location several times to follow up. Haven’t gotten a response, so I tried to hit up corporate and social media - They’ve been placating me ever since that I would get a response soon. Hate to leave negative reviews, but now it’s been two full months. Be warned. —Edit— they responded to this review and said they’d reach out 3 weeks ago. Still nothing 🙃

This location needs updated equipment immediately. You could see the hard water buildup on everything. Half of the brushes are not functioning. It is really sad that this spot with all the traffic that it gets is not getting top tier equipment. How could you put this off another year if everything is not even working properly now and it's only August. Really disappointed. Going to have to consider canceling my membership and going somewhere where the equipment is and all crappy since I'm also right down the street from the competition on Rock road and Douglas. Is that taking any of the business from this location? I'm willing to bet absolutely really sad

Paid $12 for a carwash and power dry, only to still have a dirty, wet car. Tried to call their number and it automatically hangs up, tried to call five times. Save your money, unless you don't care about the quality of your carwash

Stopped for a wash this morning. This is after the second time through. The manager said they don’t guarantee that your vehicle will be clean and didn’t even want to give me a rehash. I told them they need a sign posted to inform people that they don’t guarantee a clean wash. The guy working the wand inside the wash may as well have been spraying with his eyes closed, he say all the dirt and simply ignored it.

Poor service and very expensive. I paid $25 dollars and the machine only dispensed water, no soap. My truck came out just as dirty. 👎👎

Paid almost $13 for my car to look almost the exact same, and their vacuums don't suck anything up at all. We tried 3 of the vacuum's.

I've been to two different Zips locations in Wichita (W. Maple & N. Webb), & both are horrible. The equipment is very old, they don't pay any attention to the place -- there's one attendant at the opening of the drive-thru wash, & that person stays inside. No employee is seen outside the entire time. No one checks on things. They keep the rags & spray bottles on the sidewalk where the wash is, which is opposite of where the vacuums & trash cans are, so people have to walk all the way across the fairly large parking lot to go get rags &/or a spray bottle, then walk back across the fairly large parking lot where their car is, & if they need more rags, they have to do it again. All of the rags are dry from sitting out all day because they have very few customers, so there's no rotation of clean, damp rags -- just the same rags they put out in the morning, & they've been sitting out in the sun & wind all day, so they're all dry -- even the ones that are on the bottom of the stack. The spray bottles have water in them -- not glass cleaner. I was there between 4:15 & 5 pm on a Saturday when there was a clear blue sky after it rained a day or two ago, so everyone's car was filthy from the dirty, wet streets, & no other cars showed up for a car wash while I was there. The last last time I was there on a Saturday afternoon, only 1 other car showed up. Normally on Saturdays afternoons after rainy days, a drive-thru car wash is packed with cars, but not Zips -- because like I said, it's run down, there's only 1 employee (2 at most), so there's no one tending to the place (because they get so few customers that they can't afford to hire employees), the rags are dry & aren't kept in a convenient location where people need them to be after they exit the wash & drive to the vacuum area, & there's no glass cleaner because they get so little business that they skimp on even basic car wash supplies that customers need. It's going to stay this way if Zips doesn't update their equipment. You've got to spend money to make more money. When a drive-thru car wash business stops investing profits into the business to maintain & update the equipment, this is what happens ... people stop going there, so the business stops being profitable. I'm moving to a Wichita suburb soon where there's another Zips. I'll try that location, but if it's the same way, I'm definitely cancelling my Zips membership.
