This is by far, hands down the best hand car wash in the city. Abel and his team truly care about not only your car but more importantly you. He will work his hardest to provide you the best customer service. I bring my 20 year old Mercedes SL600 into see him often as well as my Range Rover Supercharged. I wouldn't trust anyone else but River North Hand Car Wash. I have been going here for 5+ years and have had my cars washed, detailed, rim repair and of course the occasional panel paint for those unpredictable scrapes here and there. BEST CAR WASH AND DETAIL JOINT AROUND!

Very Knowledgeable on their products and the BEST customer experience. Bill handled my window tinting today, he suggested the right shade tint and my car turned out amazing. I even received a carwash which was very nice and appreciated. They also have a body shop for minor repairs to full blown accidents. I highly recommend them, very impressed. I even booked a full detail for next week.

I recently had my car dent and scratch repaired at River North Hand Car Wash, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. With limited time and planning to pay out of pocket, I was looking for a shop that was efficient and trustworthy—and this place exceeded my expectations. The manager, Abel, is knowledgeable, efficient, and honest. The work was done seamlessly and beautifully, with impressive attention to detail. I brought my car in for interior and exterior detailing at a cost of $345.00. They did an excellent job. They forgot to put my cargo net back in the car but when I called the next day they did find it for me to pick up. My only complaint is that the money I had in my armrest was stolen. It was only about $15 in bills and maybe another $1.00 in change. I didn't think this would happen so I didn't remove the money from the armrest. I am disappointed that this happened as it has colored my entire experience. Mike the owner read my review and reached out. I appreciated the contact. He seemed genuinely concerned about my experience and wanted to make it right. Because of his excellent customer service, I have changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars!

I have a black Shelby GT500, and it’s near impossible to find a non-shady, non-cash-only hand car wash in Chicago. I stumbled across this place on Google, and it is exactly what I’m looking for. Not only do they have unlimited car wash passes you can buy, but they have a nice waiting room and you can watch your car being washed through the waiting room windows (and the waiting room is elevated). They take credit as well as cash, and overall it’s a great place to go. Their standard wash is perfect for me as they hand wash the outside, do a quick inside clean/wipedown/vacuum, and then shine your tires! And on your way out they hand dry the outside with microfiber towels and compressed air! Edit: As for some of the negative reviews, they don't seem credible. I've gone here more than 20 times and they usually have a line of mostly high-end cars down the block waiting. If you happen to notice they missed a spot during detailing (which has never happened to me), just point it out and they will clean it right then and there for you.

I love to support my local business but this time I was left disappointed. I brought my car in for a hand wash and they did not clean well. There was still stains all over my doors and seats. So upsetting. I will never bring my car back again.

I could never recommend this place. I made an appointment. I made an appointment for the next day because of my work schedule. They didn’t honor my appointment. If you can’t honor your appointments maybe this business needs new management or owners. It was a horrible experience to be turned away with a “sorry”. Never again at this place.

Detailing, not so detail oriented. I had taken a friend’s car in as a surprise for them. It had been quite a while since the interior had a good cleaning, so it was definitely returned better than it was. For $160 though I expected a lot more. All of the dirt in photos I’ve added came off fairly easy with wet wipes. You can see where they didn’t even bother moving the shifter to clean the other side. Service was very friendly and they were fast.

Very disappointing experience. The staff were rude and unprofessional. One employee stood next to me for about five minutes talking on the phone and completely ignored my question. After that, he simply told me there were no spots available. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with this company! They’ve provided great hand wash services and always leave my car looking brand new inside and out. I recently got my car detailed here after finding calcification on the hood of my car. I was scared these spots would never come out but Bill assured me they would do their best to clean them off and the staff really exceeded my expectations! Very friendly staff as well! I paid $56 for a regular wash for my Camry, and honestly, I think that’s crazy. If $60 for a basic car wash sounds reasonable to you, then go ahead — but I personally would not recommend this place. The price is extremely high for this type of service. They simply washed the car by hand, and the inside was not even properly cleaned. It didn’t look detailed or carefully done. The quality of work did not match the price at all. For that amount of money, I expected much better results.
