Very poor service. Paid for a platinum wash ($24) and tipped, only to take a closer look at the car and notice that the seats weren’t vacuumed. The entire console of the car was still dusty and dirty. This service is worth $10 at most. Will not be returning here.

I literally just left there. I paid for interior and exterior, tires… “platinum” wash. I am very dissatisfied with my service. I really want to know what they consider interior. For the price I paid, my cup holders shouldn’t still be dirty, dashboard still dusty. They did not vacuum the third row at all. Still specs of paper on my back seat, still scuff marks on my interior back doors. And water running on the outside of my trunk area. I would not recommend ceramic wax because they don’t do a good good of rubbing it in to make sure it’s shiny, which is the purpose of waxing. The wax left residue on the chrome parts of my car and when I asked the guy to wipe it all off he had an attitude and was just trying to rush me out of there. My tires are dull. I paid for tires. In all, this car wash is not thorough enough. I hate going to a hand Carwash and still having to clean my car. I feel cheated. I am so mad. I called them like 5 times and they don’t answer the phone. Poor customer service. I will not be coming back. There are better hand car washes in Chicago: longer wait times but worth the wait.

I drive out here to Chicago from Michigan at least one weekend a month and I always go to Lou Malnati’s pizza and State Street Car Wash. state street car wash crew take great care of my 2 black vehicles. They treat the vehicle as if it was theirs. The pay attention to every detail. Very experienced crew!

Pretty good bang for your buck. Typical car washes anywhere in the country are north of $15 easily. Most automatics are $18-20 now. For an extra $5 you are receiving an interior clean as well which is plenty for day to day use.. Lots of reviews are based on laziness. Have you ever cleaned a car by hand? Or paid for a detail? You would quickly realize this is a great deal.

Took my amg for a simple wash and I told them beforehand to be careful because the car is wrapped. When finished badges peeled off and my amg pin broke and they didn’t even care, when confronted the owner acted like an idiot and said it wasn’t his fault. Wrap is covered with scratches GARBAGE PLACE

My car got nailed by birds and so I stopped here for the first time. I bought the platinum wash. Got into the driver seat and there was bird poop still smeared on my windshield and small bits on the hood. The inside was barely touched, dried dirt still on the back of my seats and center console (I have small kids). My floorliners were wet but still have dirt on them. The dash was not cleaned at all, my finger prints were still on the radio screen. My running boards, bumper, and trunk weren’t wiped down. Only giving 2 stars because the lady at check out was super nice and explained the air fresher spray scents, too bad I was never offered it when the worker directed to my car. $27 and $5 top was not worth it!! I went home and cleaned the inside and wiped down the outside. Not going back.

I have been coming here for a good part of the last 15 years. It was one of the best hand car wash places in the loop and with very reasonable prices. But in the last 7, 8 years or so, the quality of the wash has declined, especially when they are busy. The don't clean the soap off properly, they don't dry out the water in the gaps so the way, they only tire shine half the car and forgot the rest. The sad things is, they are still better than the others in the area. Just don't come on a busy day.

They can't wash the outside or inside of the car very well. Don't waste your money on us. They only have cloths for show. It makes more sense to go and wash them in the automatic three dollar machine and then clean the inside yourself. And it would be hygienic because they are not hygienic at all

Extremely disappointed today with the service I received at this car wash. The lousiest half ass job yet . I paid for silver package, which INCLUDES vacuuming and wiping down the interior and this is what I got.they didn’t vacuum at all the second row or the third, forget about wiping down. The owner/manager was on site and when I showed him he didn’t care at all. He said that I should have removed my car seats if I wanted the middle of the car (captain seat) to be cleaned and to “do that next time,ok?” . Then he called one of the younger guys to wiped down the doors for 3 seconds and I was free to go. I am sure they know that both front and second row seats are able to slide back or forth to make more room (to be able to get in or VACUUM/CLEAN, but they just simply don’t care. What they care about is to get money and rush you out, get as many cars as possible in the row . I kept going back to this car wash for the last 6-7 years, kept giving them a chance not even expecting much at this point ,knowing it would be subpar at best,but today they exceeded all in the worst way possible. And it shows even more because the car wash quite dirty from the weather conditions lately. Based on all negative reviews over the years,I don’t think this review will change anything in terms of them improving but I just had to lay it out how disappointed I am for paying $30+ and being treated like a dumb ass. Shame on the owner! STAY AWAY!

This is the nearest car wash near me, and honestly I wish it wasn’t, they do a average job on exterior washes and you’ll get a greater wash in a automatic car wash, NEVER PURCHASE INTERIOR CLEANING. Literally didn’t touch nothing and I waited 50 minutes for this wash btw… I’m in a rush so I cannot sit and wait for them to re-clean my car, and they have ZERO accommodation…IM PISSED AND WILL NEVER RETURN… the best part about the car wash is the nice lady at the cash register
