Took my granddaughter and I got her some plastic flashing rings so when we went through car wash we had a little disco party going on she loved it but when we got home my son noticed his center cap was off I called and left a message but no one returned my phone call

Don't really understand why you can't vacuum your car out without a wash when other places around here let you. At least give me the option to pay to just vacuum. It doesn't cost you any extra money to let people use it since the vacuums are running constantly

I just went through the car wash and it was horrible. I use other local car washes and understand the expectations for my large SUV. I tries to go back through and it's 1 per day. BEBOS let's you go unlimited.

On Saturday, March 11, 2023, approximately 12:30-1:30pm, I visited the car wash. I am a club member with the $40/month membership and I have been a member since last year around this time, maybe summer 2022. I like this new car wash, it usually doesn’t have a bunch of people and it’s a very pleasant experience. This was not the case yesterday. As usual, I vacuumed out my car before the wash because I don’t like to get wet afterwards. When I pulled into the stall, I was reminded by the sign “No Loud or Vulgar Music”. There are some pretty vulgar songs on my playlist so I immediately turned down my music which was previously on full blast. I then stepped out of my car to make sure my music was at a level I deemed acceptable. I was approached by the young lady working but she did not say anything she just walked by and stared. I continued to vacuum my car and as I am sitting in the driver’s seat wiping my dashboard off, a young man approached my car from the passenger side , stopped maybe 5-7 feet from my car, stooped down and stated, “can you turn that down”. At first glance, my thought was to ignore this person because I have no idea who you are, you did not introduce yourself, you didn’t say excuse me, and you spoke to me while sipping from a straw on a fountain drink. As I was in a jovial mood, I responded with, excuse me? He replied, “can you turn THAT down? I then asked if I needed to. This young man then made a very grand gesture, which I could only assume meant for me to read the aforementioned sign. I did not turn my head to read the sign, however, I did respond saying I had been outside of my car to check and I did not feel it was loud. He then responded he could here all the way across the parking lot and he again gestured, this time toward the kiosk. As I no longer wished to speak with such a rude individual I made no response and instead turned my music down, again. As I finished vacuuming and cleaned my mats, I kept thinking to myself there is no way he could hear my music from the kiosk. The car wash is going, the highway is busy at lunch time and when the carpet cleaner is going I can barely hear my own thoughts. So, because I did not believe this to be true, I conducted a test. I turned my music to its maximum volume and walked over to the kiosk to listen. Just as I assumed, I could not hear ANY music over the sound of the car wash and the traffic. As I was standing there the young man walks out of the office I’m assuming and approached me. I then asked for the young man’s name, he said “Riley, why?” I am no stranger to customer service, in fact I served in management in customer service for about 7-10 years. Never once have I asked a customer “why” they needed my name, so I was taken aback. I responded, “because I have my music turned all the way up and I cannot hear it from here” and proceeded back to my car. He started to respond, but the young lady working called his name in an effort to de-escalate . This is important to note because he stated to me that he could hear it from all the way over there. This experience screams prejudice, racial prejudice to be precise as I noticed no one else, whose music I could in fact hear from my vehicle, were approached and at the time I was the only Black person with music playing, I checked. For these reasons I will not be returning to the location and because there are many options here in Mobile, I am looking into other car washes in the area where a Perfect club member isn’t harassed by the staff she helps pay. I do feel that the employee, should be reprimanded for the lack of customer service alone. I realize racial issues are a source of much tension so, proceed as you see fit. I am lead to believe he was possibly a member of management because while everyone else was diligently working, he was in the office. If I am correct in assuming so, I would highly advise finder better suited candidates to handle daily affairs at this establishment.

I haven't lived in Alabama for almost a year.suddenly I am getting charged $40 a month for a car wash club? I've tried reaching out to rectify the issue. I can't get ahold of anyone. Thanks for reaching out to me. I see the owner gladly responds to positive reviews. I'm going to let my bank re issue my credit card today. But....I'm not done and won't stop until you give my money back. Thieves. Everything in that part of the world is garbage. Can't even find a decent biuisiness. Dirty trash.

Somehow, my truck got less clean by using this carwash. The tires didn't get cleaned, and the wheels came out dirtier than when they went in. The passenger side was still dirty. Soap was left on top, rear window, bumper, and tailgate. However, the vacuums worked well.

My wife has had a monthly subscription to Richs for years. The location on airport is great. I used the location in Semmes today. It didn't clean my truck at all. I asked the person working there if I could run it again. She told me I had to scrub my truck with a brush first which was fine. My problem is I paid for a $20.00 wash and she refused to give me another $20.00 wash and told me I could only run back through on a basic wash.

They have two lanes but they always only have one open. This seems to me like you're laziness. Due to the fact that they are both operable. Per management . Their air blowers does not blow hard enough to clean the carpets. I have been to several rich's car washes, and there are better ones out there. Especially for the money that you pay.

I enjoy coming g here. They offer free towels to use to dry your car once you finish washing your car. Make sure to use the scrub bug thing before you go through though because not all the bugs and stuff come off the car during the wash. The car rug washer and dryer thing doesn't work too well. I would not suggest using it unless you don't care if your rug is damp after cleaning. Other than that, DO NOT put the air freshener on your cars fabric at all. It will chemical burn your car. In my previous new vehicle I traded in last year, I did not know and figured hey, I will get two and put them behind my visors and lift them up. It ended up warping my window visor fabric, but luckily, I did not lower them anyway for it to be noticeable, but it did make me mad until I read the plastic that warned me, and I ignored it.

My last 2 trips to this location in the past 2 weeks have left me disappointed. My mini van was still dirty after the wash both times. The time before I noticed my back hatch door was still filthy so this time I prescribed it at the station before entering the wash. I watch this time no brush roller ever touched the back of my van on the deluxe wash. Around all my windows you can see a dirt edge were it wasn’t cleaned well.

I got the $15 wash with rain repel coating, ceramic coating, buff and shine, and tire shine. The buffing element barely did much at all and only went over the top of the car a little. The air dry blower was minimal and the car was still wet. Inspecting at home, I felt no smooth coating of anything on the body, and the tires had no shine at all. I have run my truck through this location before with a basic wash and it did not come out fully clean. For a franchise, I would think there would be minimum standards to meet. But, I will not be returning to this location!

*** Update: They did call me and are actually replacing the windshield for me. The claims manager Jason is very professional and polite. Updated my rating to 4 star based on this interaction. Still knocking the 1 star because of the initial incident in general but over all much better experience dealing with Jason than I had the day of the incident. *** Did not clean the back of car so they sent me back through. On the 2nd wash there was a yellow strap handing from a buffer and it cracked my windshield and scraped my paint. Mine wasnt the 1st car it hit either. Someone ahead of me also reported it! Reported to staff and the man gave the impression that he didn't care and said "if it happened they will see" as if they didnt just walk in there and pull the strap down so it wouldnt hurt another car! Ridiculous.

The "unlimited" membership is not unlimited. It's once per day. Take 5 car wash is also this way, but at least they manually open the gate and let you use the car wash if you visit it more than once a day. Rich's car wash refused to let me use it a second time in a day once, even asked me if I wanted to buy a car wash, in addition to the monthly membership I already have. I will no longer use Rich's car wash.
