Horrible experience, they are a new company called Rainwater... I went in truck got washed and destroyed my visor and bug shield and they refuse to fix it, I personally think they should fix any damage that's done no matter the year of the vehicle because people work hard for their vehicles and for the car wash to destroy things it's unacceptable... I wouldn't recommend going here... this happened last Friday to me the big guy was acting shady refused to give me his name, and his boss's name as well... as soon as he refused I had a feeling they were going to refuse doing anything... so yeah I wouldn't recommend coming here anymore

Unfortunately, my experience was not good. Jim, one of the employees, was rude and unprofessional. On top of that, the vacuums did not work properly, which seems to be an ongoing issue.

Price was $7 this past summer, then moved to $8, now is $10 for a basic wash. I’ll be looking for a new car wash.

FYI! Extreme Clean Carwash St. Charles is and has been closed for a little while now, since approximately the end of August 2021, when it was closed for undergoing maintenance. During the beginning of September 2021, I went to make my weekly visit and I noticed it was an entirely different company, prices, system…The car wash that took its place is now called Rainstorm Car Wash. The prices are no longer the same for the carwash membership packages or for single-washes. I absolutely have never been one to write negative reviews- this has been my first! Being that I subscribed to a monthly $19.99 car wash package, I must say that I was a very loyal customer of Extreme Clean Car Wash in St. Charles, Illinois ever since this last Spring, which recently went out of business and was bought out by Rainstorm Car Wash owned by True Blue Car Washes. I absolutely loved the company for what it used to be. I never had an issue with them before until now during the recent switchover. I used to get a car wash once or twice a week with my package. Even though Extreme Car Wash is no longer, I am still continually being charged $19.99 each month when I clearly can no longer use my membership perks. Rainstorm Car Wash in St. Charles, Illinois would NOT honor my former package with Extreme Clean. The only thing they could offer was to sign me up for their car wash package which is around $21.99. There is no way to contact the former company as their website is down, phone number doesn’t work… I have to say this whole experience has been truly disappointing to what used to be my favorite company ever. That truly has changed unfortunately. I have gotten in to contact with my bank and am still continually getting charged. When I first bought the membership, I was told that the only way to cancel was in person in the office in which I can’t do since they are no longer in business. I couldn’t be more frustrated due to these circumstances.

Car wash was good and made my car clean. The vacuum was rather weak but free of charge.

Could be 5 stars if they had a towel dry service other than that its a very good car was. UPDATE... Since being bought out by another company it gone up in price and wash WILL leave small spots over your entire car! Update. Went there today came home to a still filthy back lift gate. Quality of wash is poor for what you pay. Update even worse now. Still leaves spots and completely misses spot...should you be able to write in the dirt after it just got washed??? SHAMEFUL!!!

Highly disappointed in my services. Vacuum fell down as I was vacuuming. There where maybe 2 big vacuums that were working decently. Tons of Vacuums on the floor. Glad I didn't purchase a fast pass !

I've got a monthly subscription for Rainstorm car wash, so I pop over here about twice a week on my way home from work. I've always had a good experience here: the car wash is well-maintained, the employees are nice and helpful, and my car is always sparkly clean when I leave the parking lot. One of the bonus perks of the subscription (I don't know if this is permanent) is a 20 cent per gallon discount on gas at Circle K stations. It's saved me a lot of money this year.

Don’t often post reviews but went through this car wash today at 3, got stuck in there for a few minutes and upon getting out noticed my car (which is fairly new and scratchless) was covered in scratches all over. This car wash scratched my car everywhere and the possible manager on duty did nothing to resolve this.. I had to go back to get a refund and both associates and the manager on duty admitted this was their fault. I believe this needs to be fixed by them and I want someone to reach out ASAP. Do not go to this car wash unless you want your car to be scratched all over.

Terrible wash job! Got the highest priced wash and it didn't even wash off loose dirt off the door or the rear window! Not going to waste my time here again. Only good thing is the free vacuums.

AVOID THIS PLACE – MY CAR CAME OUT DIRTIER THAN BEFORE! I paid $22 for a car wash, but instead of getting clean, my car actually came out worse than when I went in. I even had to drive through twice, and it still didn’t do the job. The service was rushed, and while there were signs to put the car in neutral, no one actually told me when to do it - which was part of the initial issues. To be fair, I had the option to get a receipt when I paid, but I didn’t take one—so now I can’t even try to get a refund. Meanwhile, there was only one person running everything, and nobody in the office to help. I had to go to another car wash just to fix their mess. If you don't believe me, look at my photo... Total waste of time and money—stay away!

The wash was ok, however half of the vacuums didn’t work. So you need to keep moving your car until you find one that’s working. Some were clogged and others were out of order. One guy was sitting inside and only came outside to smoke🚬🚭 no membership for me!!!

Do not get your car washed here…..experienced significant damage to car. Scratchs all around the car and window trim damaged. Left 2 messages and talked to office personnel about the damage…no follow-up, phone call, etc. If you love your car, don’t go to Rainstorm St.Charles. Photos show the damage done and yes it was the fault of the equipment…the attendant I talked to validated the issue and was “sorry” that this happened to my vehicle from my car wash.

It's a reasonable price for a basic wash, if it cleans the car. Disappointed with the wash, did not clean the back of my Prius well. Got it cleaned to put an emblem on the back, but when I got home the hatchback was still dirty, I had to wash by hand.

It’s quick, affordable, and perfect for keeping my car looking clean without spending a lot of time. Highly recommended if you want a reliable wash that gets the job done right!

Do you like wasting money? Do you have more cash than you know what to do with? Well, congratulations—you’ve found your place. I’ve been a member of their highest-tier wash program for over two years, and this place continues to sink faster than the Titanic. Where to start... ah yes, the vacuum area. Picture this: hoses not in their holster, or better yet, some are completely ripped off like they were used in a bar fight, and most of them completely out of order. If you manage to find the one that looks functional, don’t get too excited. Chances are, someone sucked up a pair of white granny panties and now they’re jammed up the intake. You fire it up and suddenly it sounds like an F-16 just buzzed the tower. As I mentioned, I’ve been paying monthly for this mess for years, and at least 50% of the time I go through, the wash doesn’t even deliver what it’s supposed to—no undercarriage spray, no tire shine, no hot wax, etc... And on the rare occasion when everything seems to work, you’ll probably get hit with the next fun surprise: the spinning wheel brush that comes down from the heavens is just hanging there, lifeless, like it’s given up on life. It’s always something. If it weren’t for the convenient location, I’d have walked away a year ago. Do yourself a solid—unless you’ve got a hot date and can’t wait to shine up that 2001 Toyota Corolla with the missing mirror, the two-tone hood/door combo, and that sad looking spoiler... just use your GPS and find literally any other option. You can thank me on the flipside.

Used to be a member. Their automatic wash used to be great and good drying. Now when you’re done the front windows are spotted and hard to see out of when you drive into the sun. More spotted than when I drove in. Friends and family have also said their windows are spotted when they exit. Go back once in awhile to see if it has improved. Nope!

I’m very disappointed. At the self-checkout, there was an option to get the unlimited membership at the same price as the premium wash. As I proceeded to pay, it only charged me for the premium wash without the membership. When I spoke with the associate, I was told I was out of luck and would have to pay for a second wash to take advantage of the deal. I asked if she could refund the original transaction and repurchase it with the membership included, but apparently there was no option. I wasn’t even given the opportunity to contact upper management. I’m frustrated with the customer service. She kept repeating, “But you still get the wash.” That’s not the point. I would have never purchased the premium wash if I knew I couldn’t take advantage of the deal.

Don’t go to this car wash unless you want to be verbally abused by some inexperienced young girl in front of your baby. Absolutely outrageous behavior by employees. Would never go back. My wife was cursed at by a young female employee and of course no manager was on duty to rectify the situation. We’ll take our business elsewhere next time.

I grew up in St. Charles, and this is easily the worst experience I've had with a St. Charles business. They don't deserve St. Charles. Canceled my membership December 3rd. They've charged me TWICE since. I've called, stopped by in person with my cancellation confirmation, left voicemails—every time it's "we'll call you back" or "the boss will take care of it." Nothing. No refund, no callback, nothing. I was going to rejoin in the spring too, even though their vacuums are broken half the time, and their wash could be better (need to use a towel more than other places). Not anymore. Two months of being ignored while they help themselves to my card? I'm good. Happily going somewhere else in the Spring.
