Small Publix compared to what I'm used to but friendly staff and still what you expect from Publix. My only gripe (hence the deduction of a star) is that you have to pay for parking. The first little while is free but we were only there to get a few things and had to download an app, register a rental car and the wifi was spotty so it took a bit to get that done. I wasn't able to be in/out as quickly as I needed and then I was worried I'd get tagged for parking because of the way the app worked...I don't think I did, but it's still possible - I'd have to go back and check my credit cards and who has time to distinguish when you are paying for parking here and there on a trip? Had I known, I would have gone to a different Publix.

I come here almost every day. I put in an order for 30 min in advance for a sub. I show up exactly 30 min later and I’m told they need another 15 min and not single person in line. I get yall need to make food and sometimes there is a delay but 45 minutes is ridiculous. Not even sorry or a discount or a free sub. I went up and said forgot it. Not worth this service for how expensive y’all are to begin with: Will be going elsewhere from now on.

I hate shopping for anything! It’s like going hunting without a gun. When I go to Publix at Capital, I usually know where everything is, because it’s the only grocery store that I feel like they earn my money. If I don’t know where something is, it is easy to find someone to ask, not only will they tell me, they will say, here, let me take you to it, now that’s service to me. I love Publix Capital, don’t have to stand in line at the self or other checkout registers too long. It’s just like always a great experience. Please don’t become like the majority of most stores and businesses. First Publix experience was in South Florida many years ago before they came to TTown, that was the best service I had ever experienced in a grocery store.

Having a parking garage is most wonderful as it keeps all your groceries and supplies dry from the rainy weather as you get to your vehicle and load. Also you can feel better knowing they have active security guard/s on duty.

I could raise and harvest my own turkey faster than it takes to get cold cuts at the world record holders for slowest deli counter. They also never have pre-sliced items so if you want cold cuts, prepare to spent about 20-30 minutes waiting. In the amount of time I spent standing around I could have driven to Kroger and back. Placing an online order isn’t any better - stuff is regularly 30+ minutes delayed. It also feels like a mosh pit a lot of the time because they restock shelves during the middle of the day for some reason and create a veritable obstacle course trying to navigate the store.

Shakira is amazing! She’s one of the hardest-working people in the bakery and always makes sure everything she sells is fresh and high quality. You can tell she cares about her work and her customers. Publix is lucky to have her — she really makes the bakery experience better every time.

I love Publix But The deli staff at this location are horrible. I told the lady at the counter the fountain machine was out of diet coke. She said oh we are out we don't have any more. So I got my sandwich and was headed off and the gentleman that was in the area stocking said " Did you say one of the drinks were out" I said Yes. He went straight to the back and fixed it! His name is Kenneth so I did want to give him a good pat on the back for actually caring about the customers, and doing his job. I stopped to tell the manager that Kenneth did a good job, but he was too busy to talk to me. So I did let the girl at the front know to give him the message. She was also very helpful and Friendly.

my wife and I stopped on our roadtrip to get a Publix sub. Julia made our subs for us and she was such a pleasure to interact with. She made Publix a pleasure to shop at and demonstrated such awesome customer service, making our day better!! Plus the subs were delicious (as usual). Thank you Julia and Publix!!!

I have ordered pickup catering from this location half a dozen times and it is never ready. It takes an awkward amount of time to even get someone to acknowledge you, and then usually 10-20 minutes yo get your food. (Not the bakery- they are always quick and friendly) I have been LATE to events I scheduled pickup for an hour in advance. It is exhausting and frustrating to not be able to rely on my local Publix. I’d rate zero but the quality of the food is always on point.

Its a nice venue, just make sure you check your tickets on what stage your going to. Door guy sent us to the wrong performance and we finally realized the person we came to see wasnt coming on and found the other stage and only got to see the last 3 songs.

I left this Publix with a smile on my face. I popped in to get a drink and some veggies. It was the morning so they were busy restocking. I politely asked to squeeze through to grab a drink. I had a short, pleasant conversation about the day with two workers busy stocking shelves. I turned to walk away and behind me I hear the one employee say to the other, “man, that’s why I really love working here!”. It made me so happy that the guy finds happiness in his job due to the little interactions with others throughout the day! They really do mean it when they say Publix is where ‘shopping is a pleasure’! It was such a small, but bright spot of my day and wanted to share it on here!

Publix is hands down one of the best grocery stores around — always clean, bright, and well organized. The staff are consistently friendly and willing to help, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience every time. The produce section is fresh and neatly arranged, and the bakery always smells amazing with plenty of delicious options. The deli is another highlight — the subs are easily some of the best you can get anywhere, made fresh and packed with flavor. I also appreciate how easy it is to find everything; aisles are clearly labeled, and the shelves are well stocked even during busy times. Checkout lines move quickly thanks to efficient cashiers, and self-checkout is a nice option for smaller trips. Prices are reasonable, and the weekly BOGO deals make it even better. You can tell that Publix really values cleanliness and customer satisfaction — it shows in every detail. Whether you’re doing your weekly grocery run or just stopping by for a quick lunch, Publix always feels welcoming and reliable. Truly lives up to their slogan, “Where shopping is a pleasure.”

Publix is consistently rated highly for its exceptional customer service, cleanliness, and, notably, its bakery and deli (specifically subs). While often described as pricier than competitors, frequent BOGO (Buy One, Get One) deals offer value. It is a premier, well-stocked Southern grocery chain with a welcoming, "shopping is a pleasure" atmosphere. Key Aspects of Publix: Customer Service & Atmosphere: Employees are generally described as helpful, polite, and welcoming, creating a positive shopping experience. Stores are typically clean and well-organized. Produce & Bakery: The produce section is highly rated, featuring a good variety of organic options. The bakery is a major highlight, renowned for cakes and fresh bread. Deli & Prepared Foods: Famous for its "Publix Subs," the deli also offers quality sushi, hot entrees, and fried chicken. Pricing: Generally higher prices compared to competitors like Walmart or Kroger, but mitigated by strong, weekly BOGO deals. Convenience: Many locations feature pharmacies, and some offer unique amenities like upstairs seating with Wi-Fi. Common Pros: Excellent, friendly customer service. High-quality bakery and deli items. Clean, well-organized stores. Excellent BOGO (Buy One, Get One) deals. Common Cons: Higher overall prices on non-sale items. Deli counters can be understaffed, leading to long wait times. Layouts can be confusing for first-time visitors.

Publix is always a great place to shop. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything you need. The store is clean, well organized, and easy to navigate, which makes grocery shopping quick and stress-free. One of the best parts is their ready food section — they have the best fried chicken! It’s always fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. Overall, Publix makes shopping a pleasant and enjoyable experience every time.

This was our first stop on Broadway, and it didn't disappoint..We arrived in Nashville late Monday, and not every place is open and busy. The band was GREAT, sound was excellent, and so were the drinks.

Publix - where shopping is a pleasure. Haha. Growing up in Florida, Publix was a staple in our family, getting regular groceries. They have had prices rise a little more than some grocers, since 2010 or so, but their customer service is always top notch and quality is always superior. I appreciate that Publix usually delivers a consistent shopping experience of a clean store, in-stock products, and has pretty great weekly sale items. Growing up in Florida, they also featured cool awareness for things like 'Hurricane Season' preparedness, which they still do. They also have over 3,500 online recipes you can search & if you choose a recipe, you can click to add any or all ingredients to your shopping list. Pretty smart. Above all this, I like to brag on the Publix Deli! My family greatly love many of the delicious made to order subs, so much so that my sister calls the place 'Sublix' when visiting primarily for this meal delight. 😂 Well worth the cost, the deli staff deliver well-packed sub sandwiches with high-quality, fresh ingredients from the veggies to the meats and cheeses. Some of our repeat favorite subs are the Jerk Turkey, the fresh Vegetable Sub, and the classic Italian. We also love seasonal specials like one they made for the Tampa Bay Bucs, and in fall, the delightful Thanksgiving Dinner themed sub with turkey, Gruyere Cheese, bacon, mayo, and sweet Cranberry Orange Relish. It is amazing. On this visit, my friend ordered this Thanksgiving sub and I enjoyed the Chicken Tender Sub with Sweet Peach Heat sauce and a few veggies. Great flavor combinations and Flo in the deli did a wonderful job constructing our subs, making them great! Stop by this Publix (tucked away on the bottom floor off 11th) for great shopping, deals, and the amazing deli. Truly a pleasure!
