I go here all the time for my car, it's the best automated car wash chain out there, they don't use acidic cleaners like others that are bad for your paint and wheels it's quick fast and your car comes out looking like new, the also have vacuums and car mat cleaners, and all their staff is awesome and friendly.

Knocked off my side view mirror cover, stopped the car wash, walked through, FOUND it, handed it to me and I was told despite being damaged it was a) Already Broken?!?!?!? and b) 2017 is much too old a car for them to bother with. Small Claims Court, here we come. Additionally, I accidentally went to this wash because my regular wash was closed for retooling. I KNEW MOD WASH to be the worst car wash from past experiences but I was desperate to get some salt removed beneath my vehicle.

Back in June, I visited the ModWash location off of West Ave. in Tallmadge, Ohio, for a single car wash. While there, the attendant told me about a promotional discount for a membership. I specifically asked whether the membership could cover multiple cars in one family, and he confirmed that it could. Based on that information, I decided to sign up, as both my husband and I could benefit from regular washes—especially during the winter months. The first wash wasn’t great, but it was acceptable for the price and the convenience of covering two vehicles. Despite ongoing issues with the automated system, I allowed the membership to continue. For the next three months, both of our vehicles were consistently able to use the membership, just as the attendant had explained when I signed up. During that time, the automated system frequently malfunctioned, and I repeatedly needed assistance from staff. Today, I asked about the timeline for fixing it and was told they plan to install a new system in October, which sounded like good news. However, after pulling up my account, the attendant questioned the license plate listed. I explained that it belonged to my husband’s car, as it had been on the account since the beginning. At that point, I was told that the membership only covers one vehicle. This was completely different from the explanation I was given when I signed up and from the way my membership had been used for several months. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was informed that I already was. I immediately canceled my membership. This feels like a clear bait and switch. For months, I was assured and allowed to wash both cars under one account. Now I’m being told that was never part of the membership. Overall, this location has been poorly managed and consistently unreliable. The lack of clarity, frequent technical issues, and sudden change in policy are unacceptable.

Got there just before 5pm. Pay lanes were all closed off with traffic cones. 5 cars were ahead of the cones waiting to pay and enter the car wash. I was the first car behind the cones and about 15 more cars were lined up behind me. It took about 45min before the woman who worked there finally moved the cones so i could pull up to pay. $30 for a car wash where a human never even touched anything other than a button is a bit over priced and slightly maddening.

I've been using ModWash since they opened in Akron. I was paying around $25 per wash so I decided to go with the monthly plan. It's a way better deal! They do a good job at getting my truck clean and I like the vacuum station with towels to dry your vehicle.

Started going here about a month ago because it's close to home. The times I have gone through, sometimes my truck would get clean but not all the time. The WHEEL cleaner worked on the driver side but not the passenger side. One side clean and shiny the other dull. The vacuuming was hit or miss. Some had suction some not plus hoses missing. Some people were friendly Some could care less. I was told today that things are going to change and get fixed. The vacuuming today was the best so far. The wheel shine is broke and parts are on order. I paid for wheel shine for both sides but so far one side. I guess they have some new locations I might try out. If not satisfied there is another car wash down the street.

I wouldn't recommend this company to nobody. They don't answer phones.. You become a member and then they try to lock you in by not answering the phones. I went to one of the facilities to cancel my membership by the end of the month. They were still trying to take money out my account. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, THEY WILL NOT ANSWER PHONES. AND CANCELING YOUR MEMBERSHIP AT THE FACILITY ISN'T GUARANTEEED. I BELIEVE THE CAR WASHES ARE COOL.THEY HAVE NO CONTROL . THE BIG DOGS WHO RUN THE COMPANY. IS THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!

Front and rear roller brushes don't adjust up and down to fully clean the vehicle. Would not recommend. If you read this and decide to go wait for your car to dry outside and see the dirt still there.

Just want soap & undercarriage. $25! Wow! Plus my front wasn't touched. You need to add undercarriage to your lower priced wash. I won't be back. Lots of other places to get a wash. Staff was very polite. Update: I emailed them as asked, and never heard back (or offered a refund).

Came in with good vibes, and the experience just kept getting better. While I was getting ready to pay, a gentleman took the time to explain the current deal — $12 for the first 30 days is such a great deal. He was super friendly and helpful. After I paid, the associate who guided my car into the wash was very kind and welcoming, with the warmest smile. After the wash, Josslin walked me through everything — the hours, the bug station, carpet station, and the differences between winter and summer hours. She was incredibly informative, approachable, and had such a great vibe. I don’t usually write long reviews, but the staff really made this experience worth mentioning. Amazing team, especially Josslin.
