I went to Mister Car Wash back in February and the sales person who puts in the car wash you want offered me “deal.” Unlimited amounts of car washes for $10 for one money. I said that sounds great. He took my card, swiped it, and I was on my way. Not once did he mention that it was a subscription!!!! Well a month later, I was charged $38 and the following month, charged that again. DO NOT fall for any deals. It’s a scam.

I like this car wash! Your car is super shiny and clean/dry when you exit. If you have magnets on your car, it's best to remove them before going in. The first time I went, I forgot and two came off with the powerful spray. The staff was really nice about finding and getting them back to me! The first month is $9.99. You can go in whenever you want. This small sticker with a bar code they place on the bottom of your windshield, is read from above, the gate opens and you go through the wash. Car in neutral. You're pulled slowly through on a moving track. Sit back and relax. The subsequent monthly fees are $35.30 for my plan, however, I believe there are other ones you can purchase. A little pricey, but the great wash and shine, the ease of using the wash, and the really nice staff make it well worth it. It will be nice to have through the winter months to get all the constant nastiness off! I heartily recommend Mr. Carwash!

The wash is decent when it's open. We just stopped by at 1803 (6:03pm) and there was a sign blocking the entrance saying that the car wash was closed. The stated closing time for this location is 1900 (7:00pm, May 22, 2025). This is not the first, nor second time this has happened. We are going to discontinue our membership because we are not getting the value of unlimited washes that we are paying for.

I was pretty disappointed to learn that Mister Car Wash doesn't offer any multi-vehicle membership discounts for families. As someone with multiple cars, this feels like a missed opportunity to make their service more appealing to family households. On top of that, my experience left much to be desired—I went through the wash twice in one day because my car was still visibly dirty after the first wash, only to find drip marks all over it after the second attempt. And to be clear, my car wasn't even that dirty to begin with. We're giving their membership a trial for a month to see how it goes, but so far, it's not off to a great start. Fingers crossed for improvement.

Wouldn't let me take my truck through due to having a headache rack. Not because of the size of my vehichle or anything like that. Simply because I have a headache rack on my truck. First time in all my years of driving that I've not been allowed to wash my truck. I'll go down the road to the competitors with every vehicle now. Highly don't recommend their business if they are going to turn away business..

I have been to the Bettendorf location a few times. This last time 02/24/25 I received scratches on my car. They’re along the drivers side as well. So disappointing. The staff is great, but the service is horrible.

My vehicle was damaged. I did not have these scratches down the side of my vehicle prior to going into the car wash. Once I got home, I noticed a pattern of somewhat circular scratches, at the same height, every foot or so, down one side of my vehicle. The first scratch is towards the front and the scratches get less severe as it goes towards the back of the vehicle. I contacted management (called) right away and came to the car wash the next day for them to file a claim. Management said it would be a straight line if it was the car wash causing damage. He also said the equipment was working properly (how does that negate a rock or dirt or something being stuck to the equipment causing damage??). Which doesn’t make sense, because agitators move all along the vehicle to take dirt and dust off. I also didn’t stop anywhere else before arriving home, so there’s no other way I could have received these scratches. The cameras, at the front of the car wash, at every angle, must not be there to detect vehicle damage. I find it odd, with how advanced technology is, that the cameras can’t see the scratches. Lesson learned. Don’t use touch car washes. I knew better. If you’re willing to risk vehicle damage, keep reading. The workers who wave and greet you at the gate and entrance are doing a fantastic job. They smile, wave, and make the process easier. The price is fair. The actual wash is lacking. My windows never seemed clean. My tires always looked great tho!

This paint job was brand new in the summer. I have not taken a brush to it. I thought this was a touch-less car wash (my mistake). But after I went through, the entire car is full of swirls and scratches. None of this was here before. The car went from perfect to ugly in one wash. That shouldn’t happen after one wash even with it being a brush wash.

Disappointing Experience at Mister Carwash I recently visited Mister Carwash and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. I waited much longer than expected, even though the car wash wasn’t particularly busy. When it was finally my turn, the staff seemed rushed and inattentive, which led to a subpar wash. Moreover, the quality of the wash itself was disappointing. There were still visible spots and dirt left on my car, which defeats the purpose of going to a car wash in the first place. I expected a thorough cleaning, but it felt more like a quick rinse. To make matters worse, I encountered a lack of customer service. When I brought up my concerns to the staff, they were dismissive and did not offer any solutions or apologies. This lack of professionalism was frustrating and made me feel unvalued as a customer. Overall, my experience at Mister Carwash was not what I expected. I will not be returning and would not recommend this service to others. There are plenty of other car washes that provide better service and care for their customers.
