I got my 2020 BMW M340i detailed by Mike. I chose the Mike’s detailing package and absolutely loved the results. Mike took his time to carefully detail places I never even considered when I was doing it myself. I especially liked how he took care of the wheel wells and the cool pattern left behind by the vaccuum in the trunk. There was not a single streak on any glass surface. Mike is truly a skilled detailer.

TL:DR: Although there are some good things here, I was disappointed in what I got for what I paid. Long version: Everyone really seemed to leave great reviews for Mike's Auto Detailing, so after a long road trip in our new Bronco Sport, it seemed like just the mobile detailer to use. For transparency, I opted for the Dimond Detail, which cost $220 on my compact SUV. Pros - Most of the interior detailing was very well done. Interior plastics, carpet, and floor mats were all very well cleaned and the car smelled very fresh. - The exterior paint wash was very well done and really did bring out the shine/metallic paint. Probably better than when we picked it up from the dealer IMO. -Detailer was earlier than appointed time. Maybe a con to some who might have selected a specific time, but in my case, it was a pro. Cons -Uneven application of exterior plastic protectant. -Undercarriage was not touched, leaving an obvious line of dirt where the power washer wasn't applied. Even an automatic wash would at least have touched the undercarriage if incompletely. -Exterior plastics not cleaned nearly well enough, as there is still clearly dirt embedded in them. -Wheel wells were barely touched and are still quite caked with dirt. -Water lines coming out from the wash points on the rear window, showing a lack of attention to detail (no pun intended). -Interior of wheels/rims barely cleaned at all. Other Notes: When a company states "Completely Mobile & Self Sufficient", and then asks where your water spigot is, that's not exactly self sufficient. I understand that a wash/detail can't happen without water, but I've seen mobile detailers with large water tanks in tow, and imagined that was what self sufficient meant in this context. Animal hair is notoriously hard to deal with in car details, so I don't want to put it down as a con that not every single dog hair was taken care of. However, I do want to point out there is a section of the rear seat that doesn't even look like it was touched when it comes to dog hair cleanup. This can be seen in one of our pictures. Most of the dog hair WAS taken care of, it's just this section that seemed like it wasn't even looked at. I found it odd that the detailer was unable to accept a card payment. I ended up paying in cash, but the other options were Venmo or Zelle, neither of which I have accounts for. This isn't terrible in and of itself, but I wish it was not something I found out at the time of payment. Admittedly I do not have a luxury vehicle or a super car, but when I selected the top of the line detail, I was expecting it to better than this. Especially the exterior detail! In general, someone pays for this kind of a detail because they want greater than what they can get from a "typical" car wash. While some of this wash was great (exterior paint, and most of the interior), a lot of it was extremely underwhelming for how much the detail cost IMO.
