Don't buy appliances from Lowe's. Their warranty for their appliances through National Platinum is worthless. For one thing, it takes an act of congress to get through to someone to set up an appointment. Then when you get the appointment they wait till the day of your appointment to inform you they can't send out a technician because my washer and dryer units are stacked. All I need is the water lines cleaned!! I can't believe they expect a senior citizen who lives alone to unstack my units!!! It's ridiculous. I will NEVER purchase any appliances from Lowe's again!

We went to Lowes today September 7th around 4-5 pm and the cashiers were so rude with us. Definitely I'm not coming back, I prefer to spend my money at Home Depot.

I knew what I was asking for was a big task, but he handled it gracefully and thanks to him, we were not missing any part or tool we needed for our project! 9/15/2025 at 8pm: Just spent over 2K for fencing and supplies and we had great assistance until the end when an associate by the name of CAROL came outside and yelled at another co-worker for helping us load the material! She needs a refresher course in customer service! Absolutely ridiculous!

It's very rare that I go to this store and don't find what I'm looking for. The staff always knows exactly where things are right down to the exact place in the aisle. I mostly shop for garden supplies. I recently completed a garden wall/fence that will hopefully keep my garden safe from the rat and groundhog who have been enjoying an all you can eat buffet for 2 years. And I made it pretty and even more functional by using the cinderblock openings as extra planters for herbs. All this from Lowes. So far, so good.

Bought an oven from Lowes in Burlington NC a month ago. The thing is defective and gets so hot on the outside that it burns you to touch it (fire hazard). Long story short Lowes keeps referring me to the manufacturer instead of just replacing it like a normal business. Bottom line, shop somewhere else unless you just like the run around. Update: Lowes told me to call them so I did and guess what?? They referred be back to the manufacturer and the manufacture Whirlpool says that the oven is working perfectly and that there is (there words) "No limit to how hot the top can get." So I go back to my original statement to NOT buy appliances from Lowes unless you just like the runaround. Now I'm stuck for the holidays with no oven. Thanks for nothing.

Brian, in plumbing. Went above and beyond! He immediately identified the tub valves I was trying to replace. He did further research and explained the parts. Without having the style in stock, he found the replacement gaskets (practically crawling on the floor in the process). In the end, he helped me with the leaks and saved me a lot of money! You would be hard-pressed to find service this good anywhere.

This would definitely be 0 starts if I could last 2 trips I have came here I have asked for help and no one shows up. Today I waited over 15 minutes for someone to assist and no one showed up. Worst store for customer help .

Went for heating pellets which were in stock. Nobody could find them 3 times. Found they were in up stock,got 2 bags. Return and they disappeared out of stock.The pellets are still in up stock. If you don't want to sell them DON'T! Nobody knows anything at this store

4/12/25: Big Shout Out to Shane in customer service department who had lots of patience today (whilst there was a long line) helping me reopen a deactivated My Lowe’s Pro Credit account. Also to Jennifer up in same area as well as the older white haired gentleman in garden area who helped me get the Simpson 3700 PSI pressure washer up to the customer service department. All in all very friendly staff between the Mebane and Burlington locations.

Was told by the appliances manager that was standing at the front door they don’t have time to help me they are to busy. He actually said everyone walking by is 1000.00 dollars and happy told me about all the generator sales. What a sad example to all his employees.

Friendly employees who offer help when you're looking a bit lost. I almost can never find what I go in there for (not their fault) and each time an employee offered to help me. Always helpful and friendly at the self checkout and other checkout points. I don't interact with Strangers much but employees here always strike up a conversation with me.
