Just went to the Advance Auto on Church St. Burlington NC. I have used this store for many years and today they had the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. They salesman wearing a hoodie! A hoodie! Who does this, he barley spoke and when I finished making my purchase there was no thank, bye have a good day. He just turned away and walked off, like I had bothered him. It’s a shame in this day and time for someone to act so rude.

Had engine light check done. After code read #3000, misfire, he basically dismissed me. I'm a good customer. He didn't know that. I purchased a 8pack of coils from this Advance before. Lots of parts for family cars. I don't know if he could of helped any more, advice, etc. Just blew me off when he realized no sale right then. I know that I need to get parts for daughters van. Yes with Advance. Not him. Probably at the Graham store.

Wow. Absolutely fantastic service here. Had a problem with my car, just ran in to have them check my cars computer for the error codes with their tester. One of the employees, i assume was a manager, or THE manager (Jason, i believe?), took the time to check out my car himself. He diagnosed the problem, and found the part for me. Unfortunately, it was a dealer part only, and could not order this part. He went out of his way to call the dealership across the street, verify the part was in stock, send one of his employees to the dealership for me, pick up this part, and have it ready for me. Wow. This is the kind of customer service that no one provides now days. I paid for the part there at the store, and he even walked me through replacing the part before i left. Absolutely amazing. Thank you again, and i will be recommending this store to everyone!

Went into store for windshield wipers.The clerk was very helpful and patient. He helped with the correct size and brand.It was raining outside, but he went out and installed the wipers. For my money's worth, the young man is a valued employee.

If you know what you want you'll be fine if you need help go somewhere else. Been there twice one for a part they would not sell us unless we bought more stuff with it. Got the same part at O'Reilly just what we needed. Went yesterday for diagnostic on check engine light and was told go to a shop and ask them to test it. She could not read the tester. O'REILLY diagnosis was spot on.

I got my car jumped nearby 10 mins before the store closed and called ahead to let them know I was on my way for a new battery. They kindly stayed open for me and installed my new battery even though it kept them there 10 mins after the store closed. They made a frustrating night so much better!

Had to go back to location twice because they gave me the wrong part, even after given the correct part number from another employee they still managed to give me wrong parts not once but twice. I recommend everyone to go to Oreily’s if you are looking for parts. Also will not have it deal with associates not paying much attention then blaming the customer for their mistakes.

Bought a battery yesterday for $45.99, was charged a core charge of $10.00. Total charge with tax was $59.77. Last time I checked the tax rate in NC is 6.75%, (.0675). Therefore, at a battery price of $45.99 plus tax of $3.10 plus $10.00 core charge the total should have been $59.09. When I returned the core today, Tommy waited on me and gave back the $10.00 but when I told him that I was charged tax on the core charge he became very confrontational and would not even inspect the receipt and verify my accusation. So I returned the battery that was bought and he told me he just needed to get me out of the store. Very non-professional and rude. Kept saying they didn't charge tax on core charges. Check again my friend--- will not be back!!!

Would left from that store. I recommend nobody goes to that store because they ignored us when we was coming going in and they ain't never helped us. So I'm going to let Corona know about it

They did not have the best product for my needs- windshield wipers for my (pos) Ford. Although they could not provide what I went there for, I discovered that Advanced Auto is the premium auto parts store. I'm the stereotypical "chic" that would rather not even step in the store, and John at this location changed my mind completely. He was so pleasant, informative, helpful, and honest. The stores cleanliness actually had me wondering around the store, looking to see if I wanted anything else. Everything was very organized. Thanks so much John! Because of you, I've done this review- and the other place- well, I'm not going to take the time to write a review.

I walked in the store and no one spoke. No one said how can I help you. I walked up to the counter and still no one spoke. I said I need someone to check my battery. Still not a word from the associate on duty!!!!

I want to thank Steven for the amazing experience today! My car required a more complicated battery exchange and he was able to do it seamlessly and in a timely manner. I was a little disappointed that the initial staff member that had helped me (Earl) did not come out to help or learn to do the more complicated install for the next person.

Came in for a battery change out. I hate that I didn't get the gentleman's name but he was super helpful and had me on my way in 15 minutes with a new battery installed. Even made sure to put a device on to hold the charge from the cab so that all the computer settings wouldn't go away when the battery was removed. Great experience, unlike Autozone up the road the night before who said they didn't have time with 15 minutes before they closed to handle it. Will take my business to Advance from now on.

Stopped by the store as usual. I was a little frustrated with the issues with my car. Jacob greeted me and walked menthrough options on how to reverse engineer my tail light issues. He made sure Ibhad the correct parts and most of all gave me some piece mind through out the process. Fast forward 30 minutes later my problem was solved. Great people... great service.

Update: Tried again, completely different team and had a great experience. Upgraded to 3 stars. Came in for wipers and the guy just shewed me in the general direction with some numbers. There are a thousand different options. I just left. This is the second time trying this store with really bad customer service.

Every now and then—even when you don’t do reviews—you need to take the time to do one. I went today to follow-up on a battery repair for my wife’s Jeep and handle returning the old batteries. I need to give a shout out to Cassandra. As I came into the store—she greeted with such a warm and welcoming smile and you felt as though you were visiting an old family member. I wasn’t sure if I had to go to original store but right away she made it clear this spot would work. I went to my truck and before I could even get to the door, Chris (other worker present, joyful smile and great energy) was there. Cassandra had a cart RIGHT at the door to get the batteries and we laughed and talked about family while she processed the order. In 2026–you RARELY get to go to a store for something simple and get that old school QUALITY customer service. Cassandra W—thank you! Chris—thank you! Anything I need for our wheels—this is now my spot!
