Having spent 700 buck for my repair, rushed to the store to buy a single horse tender spring and a cup of coffee, I felt being discriminated by one of the customer service member at the auto section desk . Honestly as a truck this is my second home and that behavior is not welcoming at all.

I have been a loyal customer of Loves, but after what happened in Davenport, IA, I will think twice before stopping again. My $400 bracelet disappeared in the shower area. The manager refused to even check the cameras, basically telling me it doesn’t matter. This feels like either negligence or worse. Loves should be ashamed.

Clean restrooms and showers at this truck stop location. They have a Arby’s restaurant inside. Limit parking for truckers and it fills up real fast.

The place is a pretty standard truckstop / convenience store type interstate gas station. While there are a lot of crazy items one can blow their money on in here and the food station looked surprisingly clean, the bathroom was nowhere near as good. Dirty, the aroma would peel paint off a battleship and not stocked at all. 😷

Back through, only got gas. Pump and receipt easy peasy at pump. Due to previous experience and no Subway hopping to the next Loves for a sandwich and check out how the staff interact. Since it’s close enough. Added one star since the pump and receipt worked this visit. Plus, added parking video. Clean lot with lots of room to rest for weary travelers. /\update After about 15,000 miles since April and every Loves along the way … dozens upon dozens (though I’m new to reviewing have to catch up) … this location’s pump receipt didn’t print. Came inside to request a copy on the way to the bathroom. No one was at the cash register. I called out is anyone here. When someone came over there wasn’t a greeting or a smile. Attempted to engage including using the customer service reps name. Maybe they’re having a personal problem and brought it to work. Not gonna mention their name here as the point isn’t to embarrass them. The boss if they read this needs to level up to the Loves standard. Reps are representative of the brand and boss. Maybe give your people some flowers and a pep talk. My problem is Loves spoils me around the country. Just got back from the east coast. Everyone along the way was super nice. Going back west in a few weeks. In April there was only one Loves in Southern California that needed help with the property not being updated. Their squeegees were stolen. Had to go to Pilot across the street. I only stop at Loves so it’s weird. Maybe it’s Iowa. The rest of the country, I’ll be back. In the future might try this place again in September during the next east coast excursion to see if this experience was a fluke. I choose to patron Loves for the experience as much as the perks. Two stars since I had to ask for a receipt. Meh experience. Bathrooms okay. Parking looks decent. If there’s a better experience when I try again I’ll update this

Enjoyed the app and the $.10 a gallon discount. The inside of this loves is decent and they have a lot of snack and food choices. The bathrooms need some maintenance as there are loose water spouts in the men’s and ladies bathrooms. Two of the pumps outside were broken, and one of them had gang paraphernalia scratched into the glass. This lucky some maintenance inside and outside. Appreciate that they’re here.

I TOLD THEM HOW MUCH IS MUDFLAP CHANGE THEY TOLD ME $90 AND I TOLD THEM USE MY OWN MUDFLAP THEY SAID OKAY AFTER THAT THAT THEY SAID THEY USE THEIR OWN MUDFLAP AND COST $200 I REFUSED TO PAY THAT AMOUNT AND THE GUY NAME ROBERT BRINGOLF TOLD ME I CANT LEAVE WITHOUT PAY AND HE REFUSES USE MY OWN MUD FLAP THEY NEVER LET ME LEAVE THIS PLACES HOLD MY TRUCK THEY WERE TERRIBLE .

It’s a pretty standard Love’s. It’s been reasonably clean, and there is an Arby’s attached. They are always the cheapest gas along I-80. Best to fill up before you enter Illinois, as you won’t find gas this cheap for a long time. Remember to use the Love’s app for an additional 10 cents off!

I visited this Love’s location today to request a shower and presented my Rewards card through Apple Wallet, since the Love’s app itself offers the option to add the card to the Wallet. To my surprise, the employee told me that I couldn’t use the card through Apple Wallet and that I had to open the app instead. This makes no sense. If Love’s provides Apple Wallet integration, the card should be accepted normally. This lack of consistency creates frustration and a poor customer experience. I felt disrespected because I followed exactly what the app suggests, yet I was still not allowed to use my benefit. For that reason, I’m leaving this negative review and recommending that the staff receive better training so other customers don’t go through the same situation.

This is a silly review but idk maybe some day it'll help someone lol My kids and I like to go on road trips on my days off and get magnets of every state we go to and tho we have been to Iowa a bunch I've always forgotten to grab a magnet of Iowa. Well today we took a trip to Iowa from illinois to eat at hooters becuz they shut down the one in our town and I said hey we can also get a magnet while we r there and lo n behold this gas station was the lucky winner. Not only did they have an Iowa magnet but they had about 50 dif ones to choose from (ok more like 7) which was a real treat becuz most states have maybe 2 or 3. So yes this gas station has magnets for anyone wondering. They also have a ton of food options including I think it was an Arby's and I think I saw showers for truckers and all ur general travel needs. So this is a great place to stop for the road warriors out there. Plus side the lady at the counter was cool and complimented or at least mentioned my Britney spears close up crying sweatshirt that I forgot I was even wearing lol so it's always nice to be noticed. Overall a cool gas station...with magnets lol
