Really nice! I don't think I've ever seen a self car wash have an air dryer but this one does! I mean the price at the time of this review; PRICE IS $3 (3 tokens) FOR 4 MINUTES OF USE. The options are really good whether it's a high pressure wash off, soapy conditioner spray foam, tire cleaner, etc. This place offers a lot more than any other place I've ever seen or knew excited. I would definitely recommend this place for an all in one place to do your own carwash. And of course they have a shaded area for after your wash as well as vacuum cleaners but I've never used them so I'm not too sure how long or exactly how good they work but, if they are as good as the washing part then I can only assume they're pretty good too. Come here for a nice, spacious place with many options for your washing needs! *FYI they do have a CARD OPTION for paying (tap or swipe).

I wanted to add to the recent reviews -- this car wash is under new ownership and everything has been updated. It's nice to finally have a good manual car wash in Fremont, I was driving all the way to Hayward! Also really nice to be able to use your credit card if you want and not have to keep feeding in tokens, just hit the end button when you're done.

Large enough to make turns for semi truck. Height is only 9' but enough to wash half of the truck

Unhonest Payment System I used this car wash few years ago before the new credit card payment system. Now they changed the new payment system and it starts to charge since your credit card is approved. I have to start the wash as soon as it is counting up the charges. That's OK. After I washed my car and tried to find the STOP button. It described "Press STOP button when done". There is no STOP written on the board. It is eating up my credit card from $6.15 to $7.45 during looking for their STOP button. Finally there is green round button on the card slider. It does not describe anything. I tried to press it and the counting stopped. Very upset and very disappointed. They stole the customer's money by this way. Stay away from this car wash.

Clean and most of equipment are working well. They accept CC now. It seems like it was renovated.

Great self serve car wash. If you're quick, and organized, you can wash a car for $5 each. Me and my friend took two and it cost us $11. mostly because we wasted a little time figuring things out since we had never been there before. Helpful workers there too.

This car wash is not perfect, but it does exactly what I need it to do: wash my car and floor mats in less than 10 minutes and for less than 10 dollars. These are the only steps you need for a quick, efficient car wash: 1. Take your floor mats out of your car, and hang them on the provided clamps (if your floor mats are plastic and easy to clean). 2. Rotate the brush on the wall so the bristles are facing you. This will make it easier for you to clean with the high powered water. 3. Swipe your credit card to start the time. 4. Click "Wheel cleaner". Get all four wheel rims and tires with the spray. 5. Click "High pressure soap". You are going to hit the BRUSH ON THE WALL first. This will get a lot of nasty stuff out so you're less likely to scratch your car (you will still get minor micro scratches). Rinse your car top to bottom with this high pressure soap, and don't forget to hit your wheels. 6. Click "Triple Foam conditioner". Spray your entire car. This will lift any dirt you have on the car after rinsing it. 7. Click "high pressure rinse". Rinse the car top to bottom, getting any of the soap off from before. 8. Click "foam brush". Some people will say never to use it, but if you're here at this car wash, your car is probably not a Ferrari or $100k+ car. Since the brush has been hit with high pressure water, you should be good to go. Use at your own risk. Start from TOP to BOTTOM. The bottom of your car near the "skirt" is the dirtiest, so hitting that then the top of your car will leave scratches. Once you hit top to bottom, feel free to use the brush on your rims. I recommend hitting the brush with high pressure water beforehand just to be safe. 9. Congrats. You're pretty much done. Hit the car with "high pressure rinse" one more time to get all the soap off. You can use the "Turbo Dry" and "high pressure wax" if you'd like, but I stop at 9 and go immediately to a bay to hand dry my car. This is what I do for my early 2010 car, so take it with a grain of salt. This car wash sometimes has some of the ports "flood" due to drains not draining, and sometimes going from wheel cleaner to any other setting takes 30 seconds (the water will stay green since the wheel cleaner is green). It isn't a perfect car wash, but it'll get the job done. P.S. - don't be the jerk who hand washes their car in the bay. Wash your car and get out if there's a line behind you.

I went to Irwin's Self Car Wash twice over the weekend. One time for my BMW which I used $10 worth of time, and my credit card statement shows a $14 charge. Next day I went again to wash my truck and used $5 worth of time, and my credit card shows another charge for $14. So in total, I used $15 for two self-washes where I soaped quickly and rinsed quickly using the high pressure settings only (no foam brush or any of the other options), but yet I am billed on my credit card $28 total over 2 days. This self car wash has newer equipment and almost no wait times due to having 5 washing bays every time I have been there (total 3 times) but the lack of a credit card receipt and then incorrect (fraudulent?) credit card amounts is very concerning. I am going to wash one more time and record the whole next wash and compare it to my credit card and see if this persists. It it does, I am forwarding my findings to the news agencies and the City for for investigation. This is downright dishonest. EDITED to Irwin's response: Please list a reachable phone number or your email so I can privately message you folks. You responded to this review, but left no way to reach you via email/private message. I can not just list the last 4 digits of my Fidelity Rewards Visa I used 3 times at your Self-Car wash. Thank you in advance. Please send your email.

I like the credit card tap feature for it is safer than swiping. I even got an extra minute just random. Not bad.

I would give this place a zero if I could, but Google wouldn't allow this, so one star it is. The machines are in disrepair. No security, which means there are drinks roaming the small lot. One drunk relieved himself next to my car. Even with the cheap prices I feel like i overpaid. Never visit this car wash. I wish I would of read the reviews.

Thank goodness for this local spot! It was exactly what I was expecting...the new cc machine a little finicky at end bay and wouldn't let me time "up" so I had to pay twice, but big deal. The bays seemed well taken care of and everyone drying their cars were able to do so in a well shaded area. The entrance is definitely difficult if there is a line; but for basically $8 to wash my car with no worries, I am very thankful for this business and it's services.

I have come to this location twice to wash my car. First time the high pressure soap did not have any soap. I still atleast used the rinse and spotless water rinse which I will say worked nicely. I came a second time understanding that can run out of soap, but again had no soap. It is unfortunate to waste money and both times not be able to actually wash my vehicle. Luckily the second time I only paid for the minimum time and tested the high pressure soap setting before wasting the pre rinse on the vehicle.

Interested in causing permanent, irreparable damage to your car? Come on in and have highly corrosive wheel cleaner dripped onto your clear coat! I’ll give management a chance to reply, repair their shit, and make this right. I pre-paid for 15 minutes and had damage to my car within 5, forcing me to leave early without a full wash. There is now damage to my clear coat. If you use this wash and experienced similar damage to your room (please inspect), please leave a review. I am considering taking this to small claims if owner does not make it right.

Very convenient using a card instead of quarters. Less to carry. I prefer quarters at the laundromat as I don't trust them with cards yet.

One of the worst experiences with this car wash, i am their regular customer but i am very disappointed with the management, i am using their soap and theirs something going on and unfortunately it is not working properly i show the manager that hey, this happened and he says everything is good but i know this is not how it is because i use it every time, after asking him to tell me how to complaint he says leaver from this property you are transpacing , what the hell. So never gonna come back here again. I am attaching the guys picture hope the owner will see this review.

I firmly recommend Irwins car wash. I consider it to be the best self-service car wash in the Bay Area. My dad took me here to wash my first car, and the materials and techniques available to you for a small fee are of simply impeachable quality. I always leave happy and satisfied by my service. ✌️
