I join the unlimited car wash membership to wash my car at the touch free sand creek location. I went to wash my car and proceeded to scan my barcode just to get a message on the screen telling me this location does not take gift cards. This is not a gift card but a membership barcode. I contacted customer service just to be told it doesn’t work at the sand creek location so be aware of this as is not stated anywhere.

Hoffman's is ok...its like one out of maybe three carwashes in this one horse town. I guess it will have to do. No hand wash places up here...which sucks.

I was able to pull in and use the self service vacuum for $2- coins only. They have a coin exchange machine on the premises. The vacuum midkey got everything but there were some places I wish I had an extended piece to reach. I also wish it had more suction power. The exterior car wash is $14. You have to drive your car onto the machine thingy, put it in neutral and the car wash begins. It’s less than 10 mins long, and you’ll have to pay prior to the service. After the wash your back on Central Ave in full blown traffic so watch out for pedestrians on the sidewalk and oncoming traffic. It was clean and everything was done rapidly. I would recommend this location if you’re willing to clean your own interior and do it quickly.

Does the job just as all the rest do. I get the base unlimited as I feel the higher tiers are just a waste of money (not sure how well spraying wax down and then washing it right off works toward a lasting protective shine). The wheels don’t get cleaned all that well, but then again maybe I’m not paying for the upgraded package? Either way $30 a month for unlimited washes is worth it enough and this is a decent place to get a wash. Recommend

I tried handing my cash to the guy, he insisted that if I paid the same amount by card, my next wash within 30 days was free - a promotion they were doing. Obviously I should have been more suspicious. Firstly, it wasn't the same amount, it was $1.50 more. Not the biggest deal, but a month later I get a charge on my card for twice as much. They had signed me up for the recurring charge without asking me. To their credit, they did refund me without too much trouble, but the guy on the phone framed it as a 'one time courtesy' rather than 'we apologize'. Never hand over your card to these guys unless you specifically intend to sign up for their plan. In any event, I won't be going here for my washes any longer.

It's always a long wait, even when there isn't a long line of cars. The staff is unprofessional and unfriendly. When I went to use the vacuums, there was no pressure, so it felt like I wasted my money. I would never return

I recently visited this Albany car wash location, and it was a stark contrast to my previous experience at the airport location. While the airport facility impressed me with its friendly, helpful staff and even provided useful tips about pet tools, this Albany branch was a different story. The facility felt rundown and unprofessional, and I was treated with little respect as a customer. The location is noticeably smaller than others I’ve seen around Albany, situated in a sketchy neighborhood, and the service quality was severely lacking. For example, the vacuum system barely worked—I could hardly get any pressure. Overall, I’m extremely frustrated by this experience and will not be returning. I expected better quality and service, and I’m left wanting a refund for the poor treatment and subpar service.

This location deliberately makes people cause a traffic hazard by telling them you need to make a u-turn to pull into the line instead of simply making a right hand turn. This location needs to be closed due to this issue.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hoffman Car Wash. After going through their wash, the paint on my car came out damaged and peeling. The clear coat looks like it was stripped in several places, leaving my vehicle looking far worse than before I went in. When you pay for a car wash, you expect your car to come out cleaner - not damaged. The equipment or chemicals they're using clearly aren't safe for vehicles, and now I'm left with the hassle and expense of repairs. I would not recommend taking your car here if you care about your paint or finish. Poor quality service and no concern for customer vehicles.

DO NOT GO HERE. THE MACHINES BUMP MY CAR AND BROKE MY MIRROR. THE EMPLOYEE/OWNERSHIP IS REFUSING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. AND NEW MIRROR WILL COST ME OVER $1,000. BTW I HAVE BEEN LOYAL MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION CUSTOMER AND THEY DID NOTHING. SHAME ON YOU HOFFMAN. I WILL BE REPORTING YOU TO THE BBB. I WISH I COULD PUT 0 STARS

I paid $20 for ultimate cash wash option and it’s just Exterior wash which is so expensive. It doesn’t include free vacuum (every Hoffman car wash). Vacuum service is $2 for 8 minutes and $4 for carpet clean plus vacuum, firstly so expensive and secondly annoying that they only take quarters and no credit card. Who carries cash these days? I don’t see cleaning solutions or cleaning cloths anywhere to use. And definitely didn’t do great job cleaning exterior.

They have very poor service. I paid $50 to have my car cleaned inside and out, and they did a very bad job. On top of that, while I was trying to clean the inside myself, they very rudely told me that I needed to leave because they had already done their job. I do not recommend going there. This kind of service is unacceptable.
