Drive through yourself or wash your own. Great products when self washing. Only issue is the vacuums is before the wash bay???? Dont know who or why they are not after like most are. So dont get heated up why someone is cleaning the inside of there car while you look at a open bay. And look and watch you will because some of these people dont care. If you get a open lane great no problems however if someone is starting to just vacuum there car just leave and head over to Central ave .

In u-do-it bays, the pay by paper bills is very temperamental. Would not take any bills (in perfect) condition. We don't pay by charge card bc the unattended cc swiper(s) r at to high of risk for skimming or possible phishing via malicious links sent to the company. Who knows how this company takes care of their emails/ computers. So luckily we had lots of quarters. Maybe HCW should place covers over bill insert area so water doesn't get in machinery. I think this is the problem ..equipment got too wet so it rejects currency. It was very wet & even had soap dripping from control panel.

The Latham car wash was updated a few months ago, and it gets your car as clean as ever. I love the tire polish feature. Now I don't have to apply tire dressing manually anymore. I would give it 5 stars, but the line is always long there. Too bad they couldn't squeeze in another machine/line.

Well, my car needed a shine..The shine was fine..The problem was purchasing the wash. The auto system was crazy and kept insisting to upgrade. Several times..finally, was able to pay..then it would not open the gate up to pass through to the wash..Poor attendant had to open the gate...he had to go buy my word that I paid for the wash and the auto machine already erased my purchase for the transaction..

This is and always has been, even before the Hoffmans started putting smaller family owned car washes out of business, for me it's the location 4 minutes from my house, price chopper is directly across the street, I can go grocery shopping, swing by the car wash spend 30 minutes or so handwashing my vehicle and if I get hungry i can just walk about 50ft and grab a slice or two of the best pizza in west albany "inferno pizzaria" or if I want something cold walk another 50ft and grab some of the best ice cream in west albany from "Frank's" they have some pretty damn good food also I'm partial to their fish fry's and it's not on the menu but if you ask nicely they might make. You my favorite sub "the cheeseburger sub" everything I could possibly need is within walking distance from "Hoffmans Car Wash" oh I almost forgot to mention the main reason it's my favorite car wash haha, dero! The water pressure is always perfect, water is always hot which makes for better cleaning, they have multiple payment options, and multiple wash settings, after I wash and risne I hit her with the "multi-color protectant" rinse her off then hit her with the "ceramic wax" and let it sit for a few minutes before I rinse her good with the spot free rinse before I roll out with my baby shining like a new penny!

Great carwash and with they're unlimited program, wash as often as you like. Friendly staff, super efficient and many convenient locations makes Hoffman's Carwash's a winner. I recommend, especially their unlimited packages.

No self serve anymore. (Neutral feedback due the smallest entrance. Doesn't seem to have enough room )

Sometimes this place is good. This time not so at all. Rather than the attendants pressure washing the ice off my vehicle they did the quick spray job. Needless to say I had to go back through the wash again. Funny thing was 4 more vehicles were in line doing the same thing! I always thought the attendants should not be on there phones and spray the cars not the ground! Look at the photo, very busy talking just not working!

All locations! Lower your side brushes so that they clean the area below the door sills of regular sedans, which can be a primary area for rust. We all don't own high clearance SUVs and PU Trucks. Thank you!

Self service bays removed - will never be back. Some people simply prefer or have to use the self service bays depending on their vehicle.

This was my go to self service wash as I just live down the street. It’s currently being redone and looks like it will just be another drive through like the rest in the area unfortunately. Myself and other people want to have self service bays because a lot of us do not use these automated washes. Build another one local and put in some self service bays for us car people, that would be cool.

I bought a 90 Day Car Wash Tag and the Tag expired after 39 days. How? The tablets also make it very hard for the staff to scan the QR Codes. Seems like an updated tablet or new process is needed. It only took 30 minutes to figure out that I did buy it on 11-23 but stopped working on 1-1. 😔

They really got rid of the self serve bays, yeah the majority of people are able to use the regular car wash but for lower, older, soft top, and people that dont want to scratch their paint this location is now useless.

Useless remodel, you completely RUINED this location by getting rid of ALL the self serve bays. For anyone who drives a convertible/soft top vehicle or even just an older car that might not have the best window seals, self serve is the ONLY way to wash your car. And don't even tell me no one actually used them, because there was almost always a line. If it was too bad a loss leader at $5/8 minutes, maybe you should have tried raising the prices a buck or two before tearing the whole building down and changing the business model entirely. Too late for that I suppose. This place was a staple in the neighborhood, long before it was bought out by the Hoffmans. I guess I'll have to drive to Guilderland to wash my car now.

Self serve is nice for a hand wash vehicle. You will need for sure 5 to 7 minutes minimum, and more like 10 minutes to get a nice wash, which will cost you $7 to $10. Good alternative to auto touch less wash which i don’t recommend.

This is just an honest review, I will still continue to use Hoffman’s but not this one…Staff was good, carwash did its job. BUTTTT….. I live close by this location and was so excited to see they were remodeling.. I went today 11/23 and I was so disappointed. I understand it’s a smaller location with not a lot of room compared to most of them but I drive a Silverado with “33 tires and have no issue at ANY other location. They are all pretty large and have so much space.. There’s 2 cones with a guide bar on the ground and I ran it right over because not only can you barely make that turn, but the guy standing there continued to wave me on through till he realized what was going on.. (although the poor guy was getting soaked and looked like he was having a bad day).. The rollers in this one aren’t the same, it’s more of like a track with little knobs on it.. The width of the wash bay couldn’t get any smaller. I will continue to go to the one on Route 7 now for sure.
