I think they need upgraded equipment. The last 3 visits have left the side panel as dirty as before the wash. The unlimited wash service is a good value. Good early and during weekdays for a quick wash. This place stays busy, and it's often difficult to get back on the road.

I don’t wanna write this because I’m a loyal customer there with a membership. The service is great. The atmosphere is good. I’ve never had a problem in the past with the car detailing …today’s experience, though I had a lotto / scratcher ticket worth 40$ I knew was in my car , for sure when I dropped it off in my front seat area. I looked high and low in my car and hope to find it not believing that it could’ve been either thrown away or taken. I will give an update if I find it but as of right now there’s no sight of it. I’m a little frustrated because that shouldn’t have been thrown away or pocketed. 😓 I guess from now on when I drop the car off cause I’ll still do business with them. I’ll just make sure nothing of value is left n car . Ughhh

This is a gorgeous car wash with amazing customer service! Isaac is very knowledgeable and has a great attitude. He helped me get the best full service and my truck looks amazing. He even acknowledged my pup in the passenger seat and while I was waiting for my truck to be cleaned I got to feed the Kio fish. Truly a great experience that I highly recommend!

I’ve religiously brought my car here for car washes. My automatic mirror stopped working after bringing it here. I wasn’t sure tho I thought maybe it was my car. I recently bought a brand new car and brought it here for a car washe. I saw them manually FORCE the mirrors open and close, it confirmed they broke my mirror on my old vehicle. There is a button to open and close the side mirrors on most new cars, it’s unbelievable that they aren’t trained to know how to close and open in a way that doesn’t break the car. Before leaving I made sure they weren’t broken and they made a big crack noise. If you care about your car either watch them and tell them or skip this place.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and use the drive thru car wash- it’s always a good experience. Finally got a full detail to include headlights and they even helped me get scratches out of my vehicle. Five stars ALWAYS. This team rocks! Thank you again!

I just left there. Ordered a detail wax. Terrible job! still dirt and bird doo doo all over my car. open doors and steps still dusty and dirty. I do a better job myself. They were upselling me on EVERYTHING they could think of. Did NOT give a care about the current job they were supposed to be doing. Over $100 for this??? Seriously??? I even tipped them and they still failed at a second chance to get it right. So dissappointed that I spent this money only to get a dirty car in return. I gave them a chance to make it right. I guess the extra muscle was too much for them. I'm a senior lady and I can do a better job!

I went to get my car washed yesterday, and I'm not satisfied with their service, especially as a new monthly subscriber. The water spots are very noticeable, and they overlooked them. I'm shocked that they didn't even see these spots or that they were just being lazy and not providing the quality of service they promised. Very disappointed. This has happened once and will happen again.

This is one of my favorite car washes to go to. It’s staff are very friendly, they wave at you and smile when you’re exiting the car wash. They also have helped me fix some cosmetic damage to my car at affordable prices (great place for if a rock hits your windshield on the freeway following a truck that has some flyaways pebbles and prevents a larger crack), their shop always has seasonal and cute things to browse/shop. I’ve gotten some beautiful earrings here a few times that I’ve gotten lots of compliments on. Their front desk at checkout is warm and friendly and always help connect you to the right staff member to address your needs. I also love getting a smoothie at the cafe when I get my car vacuumed/interior cleaned, and enjoy watching the fountain/mini-lake area on site during the wait, which always seems to go by quickly because the atmosphere is so enjoyable. I highly recommend coming here :) When I was commuting near H-17 this was my go-to car wash. I now spend most of my time in another area and their other locations that I’ve been to are also excellent, it clearly has great leadership and management!

2 stars since my car was cleaned and vacuumed. However, there were still leaves on the floor of my car. I had sticker residue on the outside of my driver window and it was still there after the wash. I was okay with it as it was hard to take off but when I was speaking with a gentleman at the tent on site, he took a scraper and took it off in under a minute. I don’t see why I had to complain or speak to anyone. My cupholders were still dirty (I paid for the cup holders to be cleaned) and all they did was try to upsell me on a detail. I was brushed off and felt maybe I was being really rude. I went to a different location and had a completely different experience. Do not recommend this location!!!

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to the honest workers at Classic Car Wash. I brought my car in today, and, upon opening the back, saw one of my rings sitting on the mat. While not $$$$ jewelry, this was a gift from my husband and is 14kt gold with small diamonds. Someone could have easily slipped it into a pocket, and I would never have known. Beside my thanks for their humanity, they did a nice job on my wash and quick wax. Needless to say, the service was superb!

Love this car wash! I frequent all of the classic car washes, but this one has my favorite gift shop. All of the gift shops are done so beautifully you feel like you've been transported to a high end boutique shop. Everyone who works at the classic car washes have always been very helpful and kind! And they always do an excellent job, inside and out!

Classic Car Wash is the go to place to get your car wash in a quick fashion. They have a monthly membership that is very convenient and economic for those that need to have a clean car all the time I would highly recommend the Classic Car Wash as they get the job done quick andeven if it is packed, they are still able to get it. Knocked out very fast. Classic Car Wash in San Jose is the best.

This was a good visit and much more than I expected from a car wash. The grounds and buildings were very well maintained. I spent a small fortune getting a complete cleaning inside and out. I also signed up for their monthly club. I am thoroughly impressed with the results. It is as clean as the day I bought it in 2012. My one issue is that they forgot to place the bar code on the windshield. I had to wait around again for someone to get it done. After I had to show my identification again. I will gladly visit again.

There’s a lot that seems pretty great about Classic Car Wash. The staff were super friendly, the facility has all kinds of services, and it seems pretty efficient. Unfortunately, the drive thru car wash just didn’t really do much. I got the middle tier package, because I knew I had some bug guts on the front of my car, so I didn’t want to just go with the cheapest option. Sadly the vast majority of the grime was still there after the car wash. All that said, I’m sure their full exterior hand detailing would get the job done, but I was kind of hoping that I could do something fairly quick while I was in the area. So, maybe their other options would work better, but I don’t know. Your results may vary…

Classic Car Wash in San Jose is truly one of the Bay Area’s most recognizable car wash experiences. The whole place has a retro, vintage-themed design—think old-school phone booths, antique gas pump décor, quirky signs, and nostalgic memorabilia everywhere you look. It’s one of those spots that feels like a little time capsule, and it makes the wait genuinely enjoyable instead of just “killing time.” I scheduled an exterior wash with wax and a clay bar treatment, and they did an excellent job. They take their time, and the results show. Inside, they have a surprisingly charming boutique area filled with seasonal décor, gifts, home accessories, and fun knickknacks worth browsing. The outdoor centerpiece is a small pond with a fountain, surrounded by plenty of seating. There’s even a windowed viewing area where you can watch cars move through the wash tunnel—kids and adults both love it. One of the best bonuses? The snack station. They offer sandwiches, real fruit smoothies, pastries, coffee, and plenty of grab-and-go snacks. I ordered a custom panini with artichoke and caramelized onions and paired it with the Mango Monsoon smoothie—both were surprisingly delicious for a car wash café. Pricing is reasonable for the level of care and unique experience. You can either hang out on-site or leave and wait for a call when your car is done. Classic Car Wash is a Bay Area classic for a reason—great service, fun atmosphere, and consistently solid results. I live nearby and will absolutely keep coming back.
