Horrible service. Never opened when they should be. I don't know if I ever see any employees actually working when I am here.

fine, just ALWAYS somehow closes way before google’s said “2am”, as stated by their trash can in front of the door...

They close at 2am there is a closed sign that says back at 12:30 I’ve sat out here for 15 minutes and no one comes to the door but they are in there having conversation with what looks like a friend.

This gas station has that downtown gas station vibe. There are definitely people hanging around outside. There might be a variety of intoxication levels your fellow customers. But everybody who works there is always so nice! Asheville is a town that can kind of be too cool for its own good sometimes. There can be a hipster snobbery about it. I say this as someone who lives in Asheville, who has experience that snobbery and maybe even given it sometimes. I have never written a review of the gas station before, but it is so devoid of that snobbery and it’s such a real place. I felt compelled to share it with you. Kinda makes you feel cool just to be there.

Such helpful people! I couldn't figure out how to get the door to the gas thingy to open so I could fill the rental car up. Called Enterprise @ I was told to just 'hit's the thing and it opened. Lol.

This gas station offers everything you can need from beer, coffee, and sodas, to snacks and food. They also offer a car wash and lottery of course. The prices are reasonable and they are quite convenient to downtown and other areas of Central and East Asheville.

If you want to be cheated & insulted, this is the place to shop! When I brought in a stack of winning scratch-offs, totalling $185, a cashier said they were only worth $71. The other employee (manager maybe) didn't seem concerned when I asked if their lottery machine was malfunctioning, or what the problem was. Between the lack of concern & level of deceit displayed by these two, I would question everything about this store. Fortunately, neither of them hit the payout key, so I took my tickets back & went to the Shell station down the street, where nobody tried to rob me.

Nice little store. The cashiers always makes a point to call me by my bike riding name on my motorcycle leather vest. Very nice people and clean store. No bathroom though.

I was getting frustrated coming here by the lack of staffing (I know it’s not something that can be helped nowadays, but to be closed at lunch time on a weekday?). When my car got a flat here I was stuck and so thankful to find the store actually open. The cashier who helped me with air for my tire was so above and beyond the niceness of standard, or expected, customer service. He was genuinely a nice human being.

On Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:40pm: I pulled in to this gas station because I needed to fuel up after a long trip. Upon arrival I noticed homeless folks taking advantage of the facilities in a RESPECTFUL way and absolutely loved that this community was helping eachother. Saw a homeless lady using the glass to fix her hair in order to be presentable to enter the store, and others who waited by and made sure they didn’t disrupt anyone. When I fueled up I decided to grab a bag of chips from the shop and approached a young man of color who was standing outside and asked him if he needed anything. He said he would love some cigarettes as his were stolen. I said hey man as long as you can prove you’re old enough that works for me! So he did, and I’ll not he was VERY VERY respectful and NEVER ASKED ME FOR ANYTHING MORE. Nor did he harass anyone. Now, after deciding to give him some of my high quality personal cigarettes from my vehicle as well as some money and premium water bottles, we said our goodbyes as I started my car. This was when I noticed him with a big smile on his face holding the water in the air in appreciation of it all. The lady from behind the counter came outside and tried to tell me the man he could not come inside because he was harassing people,, I IMMEDIATELY went to the man’s defense!! This man NEVER harassed a person as I was here for a while observing several interactions before he arrived at the station!! This was a blatant racist attack on this man and I WILL be contacting CORPORATE to make a report on this FOUL EMPLOYEE. Why did the employee not kick out the WHITE people I mentioned beforehand who fixed their hair in the glass?? Why did she have to target this man just solely on the basis of color? I’m glad there was a witness to it all. The man, having heard me back him up, was eternally grateful especially as I wholeheartedly to HER FACE told her she was a RACIST! This poor poor man. Why did he have to endure that? Why does the color of skin affect so many people??? I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN other than to give money to the homeless!!!
