Waste of time and money. I was surprised at the prices of the washes ($12, 18, 24, 30 - for one wash) but was already here so decided to go for it. Wanted my tires done so chose $18, which is the cheapest wash that applied tire shine. Credit card machine wouldn’t work. Attendant came over and offered to help me with a manual credit card reader. Asked which wash I wanted, and I replied “the one one up from basic; it was $18.” He said ok, and took several minutes to ring me up. I checked my phone and said $24 was charged. I protested because I clearly wanted the $18 wash. He apologized and downgraded my wash on the machine (took several minutes) and then told me to have a nice day. I said wait a minute, can I get my $6 back? “I’m afraid not sir, have a nice day.” Add this to the list of terrible experiences I’ve had at various Zips locations. Even though they’re more convenient, I’m never going back to Zips again. I’ll drive a little further to Top Dog off New Leicester, where washes are always more thorough and I’ve never once had a bad experience.

Update: I’m not coming back. While the price has gone up, the customer service and just overall experience has gone way down. I hope they can get this place back in shape. It’s a fast wash - not touchless - and vacuums are available on site. I’ve been disappointed with this particular location because they never seem to have the towels and window spray available. The cart has not been out my last five washes. They upped the price $2 a wash recently. I just don’t see the value there.

My experience with Zips Carwash and Popeyes are very similar. There’s ALWAYS something wrong! What’s the employee turnover rate here and why? I never see the same person twice - today there was just one employee running back and forth between the check-in and car wash pre-spray jobs. Making for a frustratingly long wait as drivers gave up and tried to maneuver out of line to leave. - the membership comes with a barcode sticker for your windshield. you’re supposed to be able to pull up, automatically get scanned in, gate opens, car washed - IT NEVER WORKS THAT EFFICIENTLY! There is regularly a delay in this system for any number of reasons. Much like my experience with Popeyes, every couple months I forget how terribly the whole operation is managed and somehow figure that giving it another chance is a good idea. Reasoning that, “I’m sure they’ll have it figured out by now” Today makes me remember why I canceled my membership last year. P.S. is there ACTUALLY a difference between the levels of washes? I’ve got the least & most expensive washes… and they ALL seem to be the same as you’re going through the wash

I love my Zips membership, keeps my car clean inside and out, Marshall at the Smokey Park Hwy in Asheville keeps things moving and is helpful to people needing to get their cars cleaned

I didn’t expect an amazing car wash, but I at least expected the machine to get the surface dirt off my car. My hood looks like it wasn’t touched at all. You can’t see very well from the photo, but it’s just as dirty as it was when I drove it in.

Couldn't even knock off loose bird poop. Truck filthy after $12 wash. You can see a chunk of bird poop barely hanging on in pics. When I tried to go back thru, the manager said no. I rubbed my finger on the hood and you can see the smudge of dirt in the pics. Ridiculous. I've only had a bad auto car wash once and they let me ride back thru this place couldn't even do that. After I showed them the truck!

've been going to this location for a couple years. I recently had my credit card hacked. Wasn't sure how that happened, but fixed no problem. Then last week I was here for a car wash again. The touchscreen and payment system is often broken and taped off, there was a woman standing there assisting customers. She took my credit card to the office to pay for the wash, and brought me the card and receipt back. Later that day my card number was being used for expensive local charges; I know now who's hacking my credit card! This is despicable!

Asked to get a temp sticker for a rental car I’m driving due to an accident and they were super accommodating! I think it must be under new management as it’s been great the last few visits!

I used this car wash on June 3rd. According to Christian who stated he was the manager, the system malfunctioned and the top roller was not properly turned off. As you can see the roller damaged my rod holder, rack and bent the rails on my truck bed where the clamps for the rack held it on the bed. I was told that the individual running the car wash should have never left the bay as it was his job to hit the kill switch if something happened. He left the bay and proceeded to enter his van at the entrance of the car wash. I had to sit in The car wash while blowing my horn to try and get the attention of someone. I was left In The bay for multiple minute. I blew my horn and No one came to help. I finally had to exit the bay at my peril to finally find Christian, who was about to leave for the day. I was told this would be taken care of and that they would pay for all damages. I have given Christian a quote for all things damaged. It is now 06/16 and I still have not heard from anyone on how this damage will we resolved. FYI I was told by one of the individuals who did my quote for the truck that this is a regular occurrence at Zips. When I told him what happened he asked if it happened at Zips. Used this car wash at your own peril. I have now tried to follow up with Christian the last two days and am being ignored. Left a message, no call back. Update…. We are now on day 6 with no calm back from Manager Christian. I asked him to provide me with a claim number. You would thing 20 days after a claim was created that this would be provided to the customer. No such luck. I filled out the online form as the response to my review asked me to do. We will see if corporate cares about what is currently happening with this situation. At this point, unless you have the money to fix damages caused by this car wash out of pocket and then go after them in small claims court I would not recommend getting your vehicle washed here. Not a good place when things go wrong.

This is the best zips location. The other ones the person when they get your car in they don't power wash the front and back. At this one they do. Good working employees is here.

I don't know if a franchise owner is taking care of this place.Or if zips themselves has a manager.But you guys really gotta put this place together.It looks rough. But then. Again, ashville, in general, needs a lot of cleaning up

FRUSTRATION X10000000!!!!!! Ruined our truck's backup camera and it just beeps when we back up. It also didn't even clean the truck! Never coming here again Edit: it actually didn't ruin the backup camera! It just had a little glitch! I do however think it is a little expensive for what you get. Still don't know if we're going back...

This review is specifically for the location on Smokey park. They are so scammy. I bought a monthly membership about 2 years ago and they specifically said I could use it on both my cars so they put the little RFID tag on a card so i could transfer it between both my cars. Ive used it fine up until this am. I showed up and the card wouldn't scan. The manager came out and said they now require you to have the tag stuck to your car only at this location. i explained how i bought it at this location and he just said "how do i know your're not passing around the card to everyone?" So not only did he decide to change what I'm paying for without any notice but he accused me of ripping off his business. Its a car wash, dude, its not that deep. Anyway, once he verified that I had a live membership he still would not let me go through the car wash. So i told him to cancel my membership and I left. Lost a customer for life because of your scarcity mindset. I'll also add that their machines dont really work well, they never get all the dirt off, especially on the back of my SUV.

Got a car wash here today and the back of my vehicle still has a lot of dust on it when I got home. I do not have a dirt driveway. It was very busy today so it makes me wonder if they ran out of soap or something. Not worth $12

Brianna was absolutely wonderful on an incredibly busy day for their team—there were only two staff members managing dozens of cars. Even so, Brianna took the time to help me clean cheese off my car from that viral TikTok trend, and I’m so grateful. She truly made my day, and my car is officially cheese-free!

I got there at 8:00 a.m. and they just opened. The staff is very friendly, they're a little pushy about getting their membership but if you say no, they'll move on quickly. I really love this car wash. I like to get me a Starbucks which is just down the road and then turn some music on and go through it. I open my shade to my sunroof and It's like a little adventure with cool neon lights above. 🤩 It also gets your car really clean very quickly. Afterwards you can clean your car with their ready to go powerful vacuums. There's one on each side of your car, so it's really convenient and easy to clean without having to stretch inside of the car. So you just get one from one side clean that side and then go to the other side to clean it, pretty awesome! They also offer cleaning sprays and rags to clean the inside of your car if you so wish. So all in all for like 12 bucks you really can't go wrong!

They only have one wheelchair accessible spot to vacuum your car and it’s the only vacuum that isn’t there. Not only that, but the wheelchair loading zone is literally just a flooded puddle of sewage. I came here because I had two birds poop on my car and paid $18 to get my car washed, but it’s still there. Is my car cleaner than when I got here? Yes. Did I get dirtier because my wheelchair had to go through a puddle of sewage to vacuum my car? Yes. There are so many Vacuums yet it is the only one that is not here.
