Absolutely terrible service, stay away at all costs. I took my Audi for Oil Change and it was a huge mistake. These people clearly do NOT know how to work on cars, especially European vehicles. My car requires 7 quarts of oil. Instead of properly draining the oil from the oil pan, they decided to use a suction machine through the dipstick tube. Because of that, they only removed about 5 quarts, leaving 2 quarts of dirty old oil still inside the engine. To make it worse, I supplied my own oil and filter, and they only put 5 quarts of fresh oil back in, meaning they literally mixed brand-new oil with old, contaminated oil. That completely defeats the purpose of an oil change and can damage the engine over time. After paying for this mess, I had to go buy more oil and redo the oil change myself just to make sure my engine was protected. This place is careless, unprofessional, and clearly not trained to work on vehicles that don’t fit their “one-size-fits-all” approach. If you care about your car at all, do not bring it here. Take your business somewhere that actually knows what they’re doing

I experienced excellent customer service from Jacob T and his crew at Take 5. They went above and beyond with getting my oil changed quickly, they did a free diagnostic check on my car and topped off fluids all at an incredible price. I felt taken care of when usually I feel taken advantage of when I need car maintenance. I will absolutely be back for my next oil change! I highly recommend this place, it was the best experience I've ever had as far as oil changes go in Asheville.

I went on my lunch break to get my oil changed (30 min). I usually go to the one off of tunnel road and they’ve always got me in and out even if there are other people there. Well when I got in the bay there were about 4-5 guys and only one guy working the rest of them were standing and leaning on the wall talking to the other person getting her oil changed. I hadn’t mentioned that I needed to get back to work at this time because normally they are known for fast oil changes so I didn’t think I had to. And the fact that the other guys were just Sarandon there just blew my mind. After about 15 min I asked how long is this going to take because I had to get back to work. Jake (I also talked to on the phone before coming over and he was very nice and respectful) came over and started working on my car thankfully. He did a great job and the manager Jacob was also very nice. Idk what was with all the other guys but I think I’m gunna stick with my normal location that is 30 min out of the way for me but their service is definitely better.

I've been to this location twice. First impression was pretty good and better than other quick-lube places who hound you for add-ons. They understand 'oil change only'-which I like. Downside is their pull-in area is not set-up for 'first in, first out' (FIFO). Both times I picked the slow line (with problem cars in front of me). The second time, my take 5 was more like take 55. No effort was made to pull me into the other bay as multiple cars pulled through. If you can manage a greeting and water bottle hand out, maybe developing a strategy around actual customer wait time would be good. I get the pull in area is small, but if you have people stop so they can switch bays based on a hold up, it's better than losing customers. Lmk.

Went to get my oil changed and was told my Coolant was almost empty and I needed a coolant flush. I was apprehensive about doing the flush because I'm a female and didn't want to be up-charged and told I needed something that I didn't actually need. Turned out I actually needed it because Everytime I drove anywhere, when I parked the car my hood was so hot I could feel the heat just standing beside of it. Now it's not getting hot like that! Cameron was super nice and helpful. As was the manager on duty! They were both very informative and got me in and out quickly! I recommend Take 5 on Smokey Park Highway if you need a reliable and quick oil change!

I have never had my oil changed here and it was recommended by a friend. I stopped and was warmly greeted and gave great directions to drive my sub into the bay. The guy with long curly hair was great! Dallas performed the service and was professional and Jacob the manager spoke with us and he was really cool! The experience was fun and fast! I told them I would hang around if they served beer. LOL
