Long story short, I was offered even more for the trade-in value than what Kelley Blue Book had said I would get. And the appraiser commented that it looked like the car was brand new. So these guys clearly know what they’re doing, highly recommend them!

Express detail is a waste of money. Crumbs are still various cup holders and seats didn’t even get a simple wipe down. Didn’t even vacuum under the seats. Car smells like someone sprayed disinfectant into the hepa filter. I’ve done a better job myself going to a drive through car wash. Thoroughly disappointed.

Wonderful service, communication and price. I was able to book an appointment online in the same week, emailed inquiring about a ride or pick up/drop off and was pleasantly surprised that was included with the package I selected. I had been putting off getting my car detailed because I was afraid it would be a headache, now I wished I’d done it sooner. Highly recommend. Also love the prices are on their website.

Bethesda Detailers did an incredible and thorough job with my car, not only detailing the interior, but removing mold, a horrible smell, and both assessing and repairing a leak I hadn't even been aware of! I recently had my car detailed, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results and the customer service from start to finish. Express wash at $70. Only to find windshield and other spots missed outside and inside. Light clean inside should ensure that any marks that I can easily take off should be taken care of as part of this service. Pictures show a nice gentleman working at the time at the time of pick up after I complained. Shows work was not done to perfection. I used to bring my BMW here and I am not really sure I would like to come back even they they are in my neighborhood. Thanks for taking care of the items once I identified though.

A Thoroughly Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price I took my car in yesterday for a full wash and detailing package, priced at $139, which included both interior and exterior cleaning. Normally, I clean my car myself—I take great pride in maintaining it to a high standard, and since it’s only a year old, I have invested in a seven-step detailing kit with specialized products for the paint, windows, wheels, and interior. However, due to a busy schedule and two weeks of harsh winter conditions, I decided to give professional detailing a try, expecting a premium-level service that would meet or exceed my own detailing efforts. Unfortunately, that’s far from what I received. Upon arriving to pick up my car, I immediately noticed water spots all over the exterior. The employee mentioned that it was due to melting snow in the area where I had parked. He then proceeded to wipe the entire car down with a rag, going over all sides of the vehicle. This raised my first concern—why was this step necessary if the detailing had been done properly? When I began inspecting the exterior, I noticed smudges of dirt and dust, resembling what you’d see after a quick rinse without soap. On a white car, these imperfections were glaringly obvious. If a proper wash had been performed using soap and appropriate cleaning agents, there wouldn’t be visible streaks, dirty spots, or dust residue. I ran my hand over the paint, and it didn’t have the smooth, polished feel that follows a proper wax or protective coating. Adding to my skepticism, their package claimed to include a protective layer for the paint, lasting 1–3 months. However, by simply touching the surface, it was clear nothing had been applied. There was no slickness, no hydrophobic effect—just bare, untreated paint. Then, I looked at the rear windshield—and to my astonishment, it was covered in dust. When I pointed this out, the employee dismissed it as “dust that accumulated since the cleaning.” However, I had arrived only 20 minutes after they finished—there is no way that much dust settled in such a short time, especially considering the rest of the glass surfaces were relatively clean. At this point, it was clear the exterior had not been detailed properly—or at all. When I demonstrated how a simple swipe of my finger left clear streaks across the paint, proving that dirt was still there, the response I received was another weak excuse: “It must have come from where it was parked.” The excuses were endless, and frankly, insulting to my intelligence. To be fair, the interior was decently cleaned, but when paying a premium price, I expect flawless results—especially when even a basic $10 car wash could have left the car looking just as good, if not better. Adding to my frustration, while I was picking up my car, another dissatisfied customer was also inspecting their vehicle. The woman was visibly upset, stating that the service was not worth the money and that she would never return. This only reinforced my disappointment. I was initially considering using this place regularly since I live close by, but after this experience, I will never return. The service I received was worth maybe $40 at best, yet they charged me $140 for what felt like a rushed, low-effort job. I expected high-quality detailing. What I got was an overpriced, subpar car wash with careless execution and dismissive customer service. This was a waste of time and money, and unless management takes responsibility for their lack of quality, I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.

I have been coming here for a few years for a full detail and I am impressed every time with the work they do! There is so much attention to detail, my 8 year old car always comes back looking brand new. I always have kids in my car spilling food and drinks on my seats, so I am always amazed how my seats come back with no stains. They really know what they’re doing here! Josh and his team did an awesome job detailing my nearly 10 year old Audi. They did a great on removing some calcium paint damage and restoring the paint. I’m adding this review while I sit in this car after service. When I tell you my car is cleaner than it was before, I didn’t have hope, when I tell you my car was dirtyyyy, it was dirtyyyyyyy. These people were so professional and reasonable, this was my first car cleaning service and the money is worth it. I was willing to clean this car by myself but after seeing this, im 100 percent I wouldn’t have done better than this. I’m truly appreciative and stay grateful to these people!!

Took my WRX to get my hood wrapped (black) and have some curb rash addressed. Josh , gabe , chris and trent made my experience very seamless. Overall did a good job but the one thing I asked them to focus on was the tree sap removal from the hood of my car and window. Most of it was still there when I picked my car up. I would have been happy to pay an add on to have it removed if it was not included as part of the services I had booked initially. Also I noticed there was still bug residue left on my hood and grill so the "platinum wash" was not very thorough. I was pressed for time and already paid when I noticed at pickup so I just let it lie, but I probably won't be back, wish is a bummer because I literally live next door. P.S. DIY for tree sap, rubbing alcohol followed with a rinse and wax.

The customer service that’s found at Bethesda Detailers can be hard to come by elsewhere. I also have been very pleased with the detailing work and I like their loyalty/points system. Additionally, I had window tints installed. After my initial installation, I had a personal concern about the “Venetian blind” or “ladder” effect in the rear window. When I reached out about this concern, Josh was communicative and resourceful in offering solutions. My only feedback about the experience would be that for someone like me who never had tints before, a heads up about the effect might have helped me to make a more informed decision from the start. However, it all eventually worked out. Josh even went as far as replacing the rear glass when the defroster was affected from attempting to fix the ladder effect. He kept me informed throughout the resolution process, including following up to ensure everything was working properly afterward. I am a happy returning customer.
