While the interior was being cleaned I looked at the my car and noticed considerable dirt all around. They were nice enough to let me use their towel and cleaner to clean the dirt off while they did my interior. Pictures of the interior are attached.

A close friend and colleague referred me to José and Auto Spa Chicago for ceramic coating of my BMW X5. I couldn't be happier with the results and with the entire experience. The price was very reasonable, the coating procedure was carried out in a single day, and the results exceeded my expectations. This place potentially can be one of the worst car washes in Chicago. They don’t tell you the price or anything before entering. They do a mediocre cleaning and they charge $47 without any heads up. You are better off waiting for it to rain and wiping your car down with a dirty rag. If you enjoy your car at all, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

This is my Second time at Auto Spa Chicago car wash. The First time I came for an exterior only hand wash, on that ocasión I came early morning and the place was already busy, however they did a great job. On my second visit the place wasn’t so busy, again I asked for an exterior hand wash. Compared to most hand car wash done at other places this guys pay more attention to detail. They did a great job drying the car and even cleaned inside which wasn’t part of the requested service. After seeing the quality of work I decided to get a membership. Makes sense since it’s by far the best car wash I’ve been around my area.

The first time I came to the Auto Spa was couple of months ago. It was my first time trying their car wash service and let me tell you, I was very impressed with the quality of the service. I came here again 3 days ago and after paying $38.50 for a regular car wash (inside and outside) this is what my car looked like. You can clearly see it wasn’t clean very well. Will not come back again, you lost a customer.

This is the best hand car wash in Chicago. I brought in my 2016 Mercedes last week for a full detail. When I picked it up I was like wow! I could not believe it look like the day that I bought it. The interior was spotless and the outside looks like it’s brand new. I have been going to a Auto Spa Chicago for years now and the service is outstanding. If you’re looking for a hand car wash detail center definitely go check these guys out. They also have a body shop which I did not know about. When I arrived I was told the car wash includes full interior and exterior cleaning. They didn’t vacuum/clean interior doors, didn’t clean interior plastic. All the dust and sand left inside. The manager told me that it is a normal practice and they do only dry cleaning inside without any liquid cleaners. Basically you get exterior wash and floor mats vacuum for $36.50 even though “everything is included”. The manager doesn’t like when you ask too many questions and starts talking rudely

Had my 2010 Lexus repaired by their body shop and then detailed after I got it back. They did an amazing job on my car and were a lot less than all the other body shops I went to. I highly recommend them and also believe they do the best hand wash in the City. My 12 year old car came back looking brand new. All the people that work there are also very nice and professional. If any of my cars get into an accident or have door dings, I will go nowhere but this place.

These guys are great! The owner is very friendly and provided an extremely fair custom quote for the detailing service I needed due to a big spill. They shampooed the seats very quickly and used fans to dry it, and they even threw in a free vacuuming! When I saw the car in the daylight the next day, I noticed a couple areas that had been missed and were hard to see in the darker nighttime lighting (the seatbelt, a deep groove in the cushion, and the side of the cushion). I brought the car back in and pointed out the areas, and the owner was only too willing to touch up those few spots. They ultimately did a fantastic job on all of it!! The spill had been a lot of a creamy liquid deep into the seat cushions, but you can’t even tell now. I’m grateful not only for the top-notch cleaning job but also for the amazing customer service. This company deserves all your business!

Update: they did provide free car wash as was promised and did a good job this time. Quick and efficient. Updating to 4 stars. Left this place 10 minutes ago. That’s what they call full in and out car wash. Feels like dash was not wiped at all. $50 for a bad car wash. Better try some other place.

The detail team is thorough, and the inside and outside both came out looking noticeably better than when I arrived. This was my first and final time going here. I have always detailed my own vehicle. I work a lot and sometimes simply don’t have the time so I will give myself a break and have someone else do it and I never mind paying good money to have it done If it’s done as good or better than I would. On paper this place was a no brainer. Prices were higher than anywhere I’ve been and it had good Ratings so I was confident my choice was solid until I drove away and looked around. My dash board was wet. Something sprayed on it but not wiped. This inside was vacuumed barely My mats were not removed and cleaned underneath. There is a big white stain on my back seat. A rag was left in the seat my back window has smears all over it. The wind shield was not cleaned around the edges there’s a white haze over my instrument cluster the seats were not vacuumed underneath or around the outside is still filthy with dirty watermarks as it wasn’t dried properly nor was sprayed waxed otherswise there wouldn’t be dirty watermarks so l paid for a service they was not done. The wheel wells have mud all in them and are bone dry indicating they didn’t even have the decency to hit it was the hose at the very least. . . Idk. Call me crazy or call my expectations too high but I feel like if you pay someone 66 dollars for a wash and wax, one shouldn’t have to take it through a car wash afterwards and clean it themselves. There is really no excuse as to why someone charges almost 70 dollars for a wash spray wax and interior cleaning and the quality be that of an elementary school fundraiser car wash. This is inexcusable and I will never step foot back into this place again. I would advise that you inspect your vehicle before driving away. Even when they are basically pushing you out the doors to make room for the next car so they can repeat their mediocre services. Inspect your car before you leave !

Auto Spa Chicago is hands-down the best shop I’ve found since moving here a few years ago. I brought in two cars for full detailing and ceramic coating, and Todd (the owner) and Jose (the manager) treated them like their own. Communication was clear and professional, they explained every step, and the time and care they put into the work really shows. Both cars look absolutely incredible and are now protected for years to come. Pricing was very fair for the quality—worth every dollar.
