I just spent 18 bucks on the top wash here and I still have dirt streaks from where it didnt clean my car. 18 DOLLARS. For what? Wont ever come back again. It's the 1st and last time I use this car wash. It may be convenient cause I live right around the corner. I could have done a better job at home with a bucket and a rag. But, I wont waste my money again. And if the owners are reading this I have pictures to prove it. But, I doubt I'll hear back from anyone. They got their money and that's all that matters. I go up to 150th from now on.

This is the best DIY car wash on the West-Side. They also have a automatic wash but I have never used it. I like this location the best over it's "sister" locations or other DIY car washes because they have the "Super Bays" with 30% more water pressure and soap and select bays at this location take Credit/Debit cards as well as the coins. Just make sure you turn the knob to STOP to turn the wash off so it stop's charging your card. Another reviewer claimed they stole $22 from him. The wash is $3 to start and than about $1.25 a min there after. The machine will not stop until you turn the knob to STOP or you run out of time if you are using coins. I have never had my debit card overcharged here and I use this location all the time. I normally spend about $6-9 depending on how dirty my car is. So the fact that they accept "plastic" here is a huge PLUS and the main reason I use this location especially in the winter This place is pretty well-maintained, the bays are usually clean and there is almost always an employee on duty. It may not look like the fanciest car wash but it is definitely my favorite car wash because I can get my car clean within minutes without too much hassle or any disappointments and they don't SKIMP on product in the machine; lots and lots of soap. They also have a full vending machine stocked with other stuff to clean your car as well as vacuums that can shampoo your rugs too! Thanks Ameican Pride for doing a great job and helping me keep my car clean since I was 16!

Not happy at all about this place. Saw the picture of the control and vending panel and it clearly shows that you can use a credit card. I get there and drive into one of the super bays and it only takes coins or tokens. I was so angry that I just drove away. They lost a customer. This place needs to get with the times and update their bays. They don't even have an undercarriage washer like a lot d the self wash places have. American Pride more like American Shame.

Car wash works well. Very soapy brushes and good pressure. Tried 2 different vacuums and neither would sweep up anything. Wasted $6 on vacuums for nothing. It is also a bit pricey for a DIY car wash. $2 for 4 minutes on vacuum and $3 to start out on wash. In town on business so there is no point in trying to reach the owner for reimbursement.

I work out of town so I use every car wash between here and Los Angeles. This is absolutely the worst car wash. The hoses completely get kinked up so you have to wrestle with them the whole.I don't know what kind of soap they use but you can't get it off without it leaving a severe residue.I rinsed my truck three times and dried it off and took it back in for a fourth time. And still it would not come off my truck and my truck was just painted. Now I have to take it to a detail shop to have it stripped. Do not take your vehicle here

Didn't even clean my car! All of bottom of sides were still dirty! Spent 30 mins waiting, to be stuck in a line with no help! No way of contacting anyone for refund or re wash because nobody answers phone and no email! Never again! It's a local business too, what a shame I'll have to tell people not to go there.

Be aware, the coin change machine gives tokens. If you don't use them all you have to come back here to eventually use them up. I do not like this. On top of that they are $1 tokens but some bays are $2.50 minimum so you lose 50 cents. Car wash itself works fine.

I am a frequent car washer and this is one of the better/best self serve locations in the area. Equipment and the bays are rarely if ever out of order. The place is kept clean and in good working order. The water that comes out is warm to hot and they don't skimp on the product - the foaming brush is frothy and you can tell you're actually getting the spray wax. Rarely is there a wait for a bay. Credit and debit cards are accepted which delights me to no end!

American Pride was a good choice for me this evening, I was in a hurry and wanted to get my car cleaned up. The prices for great and there was no waiting. They have vacuum available and also offer different packages depending on what kind of wash remedy for. There is plenty of space to clean your car and I recommend this place definitely for those looking for a quick car wash and not too pricey plus they are open 24 hours!

This is definitely one of the better self-service car washes in the area. Usually not crowded, always clean, and the equipment is rarely if ever out of order. The machines accept tokens, quarters, and credit cards and are a good value - you get a decent amount of time for the $. Once you've washed your car, there's plenty of room to dry it off or vacuum it out before you wash. Do everybody a favor, and don't block entry to a wash bay by parking at the vacuums in front of the wash and cleaning the junk pile out of your car!!! Pull to the vacuums that are on the other side of the wash and do that!

I used to go here for years ..but its quickly falling apart. Its a pain in the ass when it takes my quarters/coins and doesn't give me credit. Thats happened quite a few times over the past couple years. I washed my Jeep there last night and a couple of the vacuums don't work. It just takes your coins. It used to be a decent place to go at any time of night to wash/clean your vehicle. Not anymore. Find a different place. I fillef out one of those little cards so I can get my money back that it took and never got a response that was over a year ago. Make sure you have your own quarters if you decide to go there, because it only gives out tokens for that particular car wash. The owner needs to come in and fix the machines that do not work and clean that place up a little bit. $2 for less than 3 minutes of vacuum time is too much.. it used to be a lot cheaper and better.

I love how I only used $4.00 to wash my bike, but ended up getting charged $15.00. Awesome way to do business. Ripping people off is a nice way to catch a visit.

Two of the stalls (the middle ones with the white lining) DO accept credit cards. Been here a handful of times. The brushes will leave little tiny swirls on the paint, so if you’re SUPER OCD, just use the wand. One request is for you other patrons to not dry your car IN the stall after you’re done! 🤣 Brushes always have a good amount of suds and the wands spray a good amount of soup/wax.

American Pride Car Wash is hands down the best car wash I’ve been to! My car came out sparkling clean, and the attention to detail was amazing. From the powerful vacuums to the top-notch wash equipment, everything was perfect. It’s clear they prioritize customer satisfaction, and I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality car wash, American Pride Car Wash is the place to go!

This used to be a 5 star place but has drastically gone downhill recently. The water pressure is dumbed down significantly and the spray soap doesn't produce enough soap to clean your car. I just got home and my car is filthy, doesn't look even washed at all.

I presoaked, scrubbed, rinsed TWICE and after that plus $12, it’s updated…I am left with the exact same dirt as before. I have washed it since and the swirled dirt marks won’t go away now. I am very agitated I did all that for nothing. The wash seemed powerful enough but obviously not.
