This place is awesome. They give you enough time to spray down and scrub. Then allow you to sit there on their lot and dry the car off and wax it. Basic and efficient

Quick drive in and self wash for your everyday car cleaning necessities with plenty of room and vacuuming stalls to finish up your visit and drive off cleaner than a new born baby going home lol. Have a blessed day

Store-bought coins only (that you can only buy with cash)! What BRAIN-DEAD owners!!! Get with the times and make it Debit/Credit card-acceptable. You're losing business.

It's now a $1.25 for 2 minutes but $2 will give you 3 minutes which is plenty of time to put on the wax and the rinse if you don't need to scrub

My go to when in downtown (well close too it!) Just wish they had better vacuums and the first 2 bays seem to be the best! All in all, safest out of my 3 go to car washes!!!!

This is the only place I wash my car now. They use tokens and take cash only. The machine turns your cash/coins into said tokens and it's reasonably priced. Grwar quality soap, water, and pressure. Attendant is always out making sure everything is working and emptying trash bins.

The car washes isnt actually $1. However it is very cheap usually around 1:50 to do your entire car. The service is excellent. I actually think that washing your car by yourself is more fun than watching somebody else do it.

Not the best. Weird location, lots of spooky foot traffic, and seems a bit seedy. Also, no attendant. The wash system is older and the quality of the wash is just ok. Your car won't come out all perfect like it should. The bays are simply disgusting. The chemicals seem to be diluted. The final rinse is definitely not distilled water. It seems like this place isn't taken very well care of, and that's unfortunate. I would wash my car here only as a pre wash on the way to a real car wash, that's the truth. Please improve this place, it's an eyesore.

It's a good and simple self-service wash. Easily accessible from Walnut or 7th St. It takes quarters or their own tokens. They have a machine to exchange cash for tokens. It takes 5 tokens or quarters to start the wash and you get 2 minutes of washing time with that. Then you get like 24sec more with every extra quarter/token. I usually use about $5 or $6 to get my car as clean as I want.

Washes work great. Vacuums work great. Attendant, not so much. Sat in his car rather than being active. Had to call twice and walk around the wash looking for him. Then he tried telling me that I couldn't exchange the unused tokens for cash, which there is a sign in front that says you can. When I pointed it out, THEN he agreed to exchange the tokens for the quarter value. I love this car wash. But such a lack of customer service makes it hard for me to come back.

This self-service car wash is very convenient. The premises are maintained regularly, which is great. There is plenty of room to dry and vacuum your car after washing it. It does get packed during peak hours but everyone moves rapidly.

The $1 car wash is a $1.50! Close enough right. You get 2 minutes for the initial $1.50 , there is a worker there to cash in your extra tokens you don't use and the place is clean with a pretty large vacuum area. On a side note in my opinion adding extra quarters for additional time seems below par compared to other car washes. Not a good deal. I have been to better car washes, the amount of time received per additional coins added is weak, it would be a great spot if not for this.... The large lot its located on provides ample area to apply finishing touches on your car and is a plus.... All in all a good car wash..

Ever thought of getting a $100 car wash for 5$? This is the place. With all the fancy gadgets that detailers use. You rinse, use the wheel cleaner rinse, pressure rinse, foam wash, add wax, then the last step is distilled water rinse. Leave ur car like new. ✌🏻

Only 4 bays to wash but plenty of places to dry . I believe about 10 vacuums which is good.nice clean place with no homeless around.

Quality soap and great water pressure. They added a TAP feature so you don't need cash anymore thank goodness. The bricks could use a good pressure wash but it's a maintained business with foliage so it doesn't reduce the appeal of the neighborhood.

Great place, roomy, well stocked and they have real detergent cleaners & wax in the systems; not diluted waters like other places. I like coming here and taking photos of my vehicles afterwards. Been coming here weekly for about 5 years. Service attendant on duty if you need any assistance. I feel my vehicles run better after a good car washing!

The One Dollar Car Wash is a convenient and budget-friendly option for car cleaning, though it's a bit more nuanced than the name implies. Instead of quarters, they use specific coins that you can only spend at this car wash. You exchange your cash for these unique coins, with a minimum of six coins giving you a minute and a half of wash time. This is usually enough for a quick rinse if your car isn't too dirty. For a thorough clean, including waxing and using the pressure washer with foam, it takes less than $10 in coins—around $8 for the wash itself and an additional $2 for vacuum cleaning. While it would be more convenient if the system accepted quarters, these dedicated coins ensure you always have the right change for the job. I highly recommend adding $5 worth of coins in advance because otherwise, you'll hear the timer ending and have to add coins on the go, which can be inconvenient. Here's my recommended process: 1. **Rinse the car** with just clean water using the pressure washer. 2. **Apply foam**, which you can use with the brush. 3. **Rinse the car with wax** using the pressure washer with wax and water. There's no need to rinse it with fresh water after the wax; simply wipe the car with a towel. 4. **Move to the vacuum cleaning station**. The vacuum cleaners are generally good, but the nozzle is quite wide, making it hard to reach under the seats and other tight spots. What makes this car wash stand out is its efficiency and availability. There are enough spots for vacuum cleaning and four spots for the car wash itself, including a special spot in the middle with a ladder for washing larger or taller vehicles. It's the best option nearby for a quick and effective car wash, making it my go-to spot.
